Awesome boutique winery.
They do not exist to serve wine to tourist — instead preferring to cater to PURISTS!
Tastings are by APPOINTMENT ONLY! Expect to pay handsomely for their tastings that are paired with food.
Though we came during the rainy off-​season, a swift tour was offered.
We tasted a Chardonnay upon arrival. With the goods we tasted a Cabernet, Malbec & a Merlot. We were even offered an extra tasting of a Verdot that they had open and don’t normally offer.
Our non– drinking age kids were offered bowls of pasta with a pesto & sun dried tomato sauce — EXCELLENT!
Our hostess Trish was friendly, witty & personable. Our teenage boys thought that she was absolutely gorgeous (I agree!) .
This winery is an absolutely MUST DO when in Napa.
Only suggestions: 1. directional arrows/​signs to the tasting room once inside the front gate, 2. A more prominent sign at the main gate.

WOW. The food board was the most incredible thing ever. It even outshined the wines. It literally looked like a piece of art. The property was absolutely beautiful. There is also a horse sanctuary next store but we had to get to our next tasting and did not get a chance to check it out. I would come here every time I come to Napa if it was not so out of the way. Maybe a tad overpriced too but still 100% worth checking out. Food Pairing is a must do!

This place was fabulous. The minute that we walked in we were greeted so nicely by Trisha. We sat outside and the first thing we noticed was this beautiful view of the vineyard and the smell of roses. The atmosphere is so romantic, and the wine is excellent. I will definitely come back here on my next trip to Napa.

I’ve been using Unilocal for years and have yet to write a review. Our visit to Château Lane Winery was so perfect, I had to break my reviewers silence.
Darcy met us as we got out of our car. Poured us a glass of wine and took us on a short, but very informative tour. Great story on how the winery came to be.
After tour we sat at large outside couch overlooking vineyard. More wine poured and our food pairing was brought out. Everything was excellent.
Phil came out to share a couple of stories about winery history and owners.
We finish our tasting and promptly joined the wine club.
This is truly a Napa secret, but I predict it will soon be a highly touted destination for those who enjoy great wine, great view, great staff, and great atmosphere.

Amazing place. My boyfriend and I had a great time and found what we were looking for in a wine tasting/​tour in Napa. This place is a bit off the beaten path and is fairly new for tastings — around 6 months. It has the old Napa feel since they do everything by hand here — they were very kind and welcoming! Our tour guide Darcy was open to all questions and was very down to earth. We cant wait to go back one day!

Great, great wine tasting experience. It started with a signature board welcoming us by name, a meet and great glass of wine. We had arranged for a tasting board of cheeses and fruits, it amazed. They had a stable of beautiful horses and a funny cat that delighted our nine year daughter. Then a tour and two more tastings. Best visit to a winery in the Napa Valley – Do not miss this one. Our host Trisha was the best. The grounds are beautiful.

Amazing wine tasting experience. Amazing wine. Great zin and sav blanc. Happened to be slow the day we went, so my wife and I were the only ones on the mid-​day tour, and it was literally the best Napa experience for us.

Beautiful views and excellent wines. Did a wine pairing dinner which was excellent. Fabulous place to visit. Located next to Napa Valley Horse Company.

My girlfriend and I went here for our 1 year anniversary. Upon arrival they had signage welcoming us. They had music playing that catered to our preference. They had a glass of wine waiting before we even walked up. The level of service was unbelievable. The setting was quiet and romantic. It was like we were family! Had games to play and a horse stable right next door. They rescue horses that you can pet and even ride before your tasting.
All in all this place is the hidden gem of Napa Valley. Skip and John are incredibly well versed and hysterical.
We will be going back very soon!

Do not leave Napa Valley without experiencing Château Lane… My husband and I worked with Joe. He was wonderful.

Incredible, one of a kind wine tasting experience! Fantastic wine, delicious food and an absolutely beautiful setting. Once you step foot on the property you realize you will be staying for awhile… and pretty darn happy about it! A truly memorable day!

Had the honor of hooking up with an old «little league» friend I had grown up with recently after many years. I knew Frank and John from the Bay Area and their amazing restaurants they have owned over the years, so I reached out to Frank since I had heard he was now into wines. I had an opportunity to visit a couple years ago, but plans changed; then, while visiting Dennis at Frank Family Vinyards, Dennis told me I had really «screwed up» by not visiting Franks place! Said his wine and woodworking will amaze folks! So this time, wife and I made this our destination. Although Frank was out of town, his staff took excellent care of us… starting with a private tasting and tour, including salami and freshly made prosciutto from family owned New York Sausage Co., along with cheeses plate… they treated us like they knew us – family – ! The cutting boards are a unique blend of exotic woods, which I was told, Frank liked to use. Very nice to own or as a gift for someone special! He also takes special orders. If you have an opportunity, please visit and say hi to Joe, Trish, Skip, and of course, Frank! We will stop back sometime in the spring to say hi, take Frank up on his offer to «smoke a nice cigar», and enjoy his wines once again! Malbec and Chardonnay were terrific, and you have to try his prized red… excellent wines, and the location was very picturesque; a real hidden treasure when visiting Napa!

Amazing wine and super fine ladies? yes please. The tasting room closed and they are building a new winery on Rapp Lane, but you can order wine online. The wine club offers free shipping too! My fiancé gifted me one of the handcrafted cutting boards… they make them to order, and I got a heart shaped one:) awww I’m psyched to see what they do with the new place!
