Tournesol Wine

A terrific vineyard and some awesome people. The guest accommodations make for a perfect jumping-​off point for any activity within the Napa area, and the owners/​staff are deeply knowledgeable wine people that simply love their wines and have no pretense about them. It was a terrific experience and some wonderful wines. Their tasting room, where we spent several hours without ever feeling rushed out, was a very relaxed atmosphere and would be an awesome location for an intimate gathering or celebration.

I went to Tournesol for a private tasting with Jason and was blown away by the experience. We were taken through the vineyards and shown the rest of the grounds. Olive trees, rosemary, and lavender surround the estate and cute guest houses. Then, we sat in the cellar for hours with our guide to taste the wines and learn more about Tournesol’s process. The wines are delicious and the proprietors very friendly. I would highly recommend setting up a visit at this winery the next time you are in Napa!

I spent over three hours at Tournesol, tasting wine, and it was one of the most amazing experiences I’ve had at a vineyard. Tournesol and its Director, Jason, were an absolute pleasure. From the deep insight we were given about each wine we tasted to the well manicured grounds, everything made for a perfect afternoon in Napa. Well worth the advanced planning and effort to visit Tournesol, it will make your Napa experience what you imagined.

I went to Tournesol with a large group of friends, and was hosted by Jason. The tour was amazing, and the wine even better. I’m a total car nut, so the car collection in the cellar was a lot of fun for me. I would love to go back and stay the night at some of the accommodations there!

One of a kinda experience! We have done lots of Napa wine tours and tastings, but this by far has been the best. We had the opportunity to stay in the amazing 4 Bedroom house on the property — every detail was impeccable, from the soaking tub, to the sound system, to the huge kitchen, and views of the vineyards, you are immersed in the culture and beauty of everything the Napa Valley has to offer.
The wine tasting was fantastic, complex wines — each with its own story. I don’t believe a single person in our party left without purchasing or joining the wine club. The sales and marketing manager, Jason Holman, was terrific in his knowledge of the entire wine making process and what made each year and bottle taste distinctly different. What the best part about Tournesol is that you don’t have to be a wine snob to appreciate the amazing quality of wine, and to even the most refined palates — you will be blown away.
Do not miss a chance to visit Tournesol, and stay if you have the chance, the grounds are truely breath taking and just minutes from downtown Napa shopping, restaurants, yet far enough away from the hustle and bustle that you can relax in Napa Style. Well done! DO NOT MISS!!!

I was invited to attend a friends birthday dinner and celebration at Tournesol, what a wonderful experience. The grounds at Tournesol were beautiful and the accommodations truly first class. Our friends — all 10 of them– stayed 2 nights in the stunning Country Villa on the property overlooking the pond on one side and the vines on the other.
Dinner was served outside by the pond, creating a warm environment for old and new friends alike to celebrate our host’s birthday. Before dinner Anne and Bob had us over to the main property where they, with the help of Jason (the estate manager) met us and led our group through a wonderful tasting of Tournesol’s Cab’s and Bordeaux style Proprietor’s Blend. The wine was amazing, the blends truly some of the best I have had from Napa.
So if you are looking for a great weekend stay or even just a wonderful private tasting I would suggest making sure Tournesol is on your list.
