Great food and location. A bit pricey but expected in Nantucket. The clam chowder was exceptional. I ordered an Irish coffee and was very disappointed to get coffee with a shot of whiskey and nothing else! Explained to the waiter it was missing brown sugar and cream poured over the warm spoon.

Great View, Great Drinks, ask for the Back Bar. Don’t just go into Cru to have a drink or just eat, go for the amazing view and ocean breeze sweeping through the establishment. Never have a drink at the bar when you walk in, go to the back bar which is right on the marina but is a bit hidden unless you ask for it. The servers are awesome, navy blue, white and shiny gold shoes. They keep it classy and preppy. This is my favorite drink location. If you want a way more casual location hit up Slip 14. Love Cru, Love ACK.

Great view, great oyster selection. Terrible service. The hostess and waitress seemed miserable and were unfriendly. We stayed for one overpriced drink before deciding to leave. Think it’s an easy place with a great view but ultimately not a great experience for the amount you pay and given the incredible selection of restaurants on the island.

Beautiful view. Great drinks, super fresh and super clean oysters. Oysters were so meaty so Oceany so big mouthful. Really good bloody marry must try very spicy. Lobster roll was very good but sauce was very different I think it took lobsters taste a way a little. I like more when I can taste the lobsters natural sweet Oceany taste. Great bar service !!!

Came here for a bachelorette. It was Saturday of Labor Day weekend so obviously made a reservation. There were 9 of us and our reservation was for 9PM. We arrived a little before 9 and told it would be 10 mins. After 20 mins we were offered a free bottle(or two) of champagne to thank us for waiting. Great, but not what 9 girls need on empty stomachs. It was almost 10 before we even got bread and then we were sent another round of champagne and a round of shots. In what universe is more alcohol the appropriate solution to a delayed table? It was 10:43 by the time all of our orderes hit the table. Great for a 9 pm reservation

The Espresso Martini is the best coffee inspired alcoholic drink I have ever had in my life. If you want an Irish Coffee with a sophisticated twist, this martini is your solution.

We went there when its opened first time, it was nice, and food was great and price wise affordable, then we went again for lunch after a while, the bar attender was rude, food was tasteless and plate small and the price is twice than used before, so we left and got pizza

Expensive but completely worth it! I just finished a super quick lunch at Cru and had the most amazing lobster roll ever! Giant chunks of lobster meat and a light creamy dressing with garnish. The bun tastes light and perfectly squishy and toasted with butter. The setting is great and right near the Main Street dock. The service was spectacular! I told the person making the seating that I needed to catch a flight back to NYC, and he took my drink order to get things started quickly. The server came over the minute I sat down and took my order: a blood orange mimosa and a lobster roll. I ended up order half a dozen oysters from nearby areas to finish off a perfect last meal on the island and I had been seated, given my full order and paid all within 30 minutes!!! Thank you!

We loved Cru. Food was great. Cucumber cocktails were amazing. Music was spot on and the décor beautiful. The waitress uniforms which include gold purses and gold sneakers are awkward. Nice idea. We will be back.

Probably the most popular restaurant on Nantucket, Cru is a place to go if you want to see or be seeing. While getting a last minute reservation outside is nothing shy of a miracle from God, the restaurant’s staff do strive to accommodate. The food is decent and yes they do serve a good Lobster Roll… btw, I’m so over this fad. The rest of the menu is typical of what you can expect at the«it» brunch spot and the pricing is equally comparable. My recommendation is plan ahead and try to go after 2PM on a busy summer weekend. If all fails, introduce your friend Ben to the maitre d. And do yourself a favor, please leave your pastel pink/green shorts at home: it’s Nantucket’s version of Ed Hardy.

You have to battle the ferry crowds a bit to get here, but sitting at a table overlooking the marina can’t be beat. I figured they would be resting on their location laurels and the food would be subpar, but I was wrong. Our party of four had no complaints. Our waitress was a bit ditzy but nice and after a couple«crucumber» drinks, I was loving life. Make your rez way in advance, this place is not exactly off the beaten path. Will be back for more crucumbers, next time on the patio. Yes, it’s pricey but it’s Nantucket and it’s on the water.. so it’s to be expected.

Incredible location right at the marina at Straight Wharf. Sat on the outdoor patio for apps and drinks. Communal couches and tables(set up) made it fun chatting with other patrons and relax after a long day of walking around. Friendly attentive staff always smiling and available; looking sharp with matching outfits. I had the oysters(the freshest I’ve had in awhile); ice cold, not grainy and subtle after taste. Perfect. Also had the fried calamari. Not chewy, small portion and light on the batter. Rosé for drinks topped it off. Overall, highly recommend going when you’re there for a day trip or a long weekend. Get there early right before cocktail hour starts as it fills up quick. We had no wait for patio seating on a Saturday around 4:30. I’ll go back every time I’m there. Thanks Cru.

I wanted to love this place but the wait was 2+ hrs(no reservation, checked in with hostess @715 didn’t get seated until 930). So we sat at the bar 3 rounds of cocktails. The bar tender seemed annoyed 3 of us paid because she each bought a round and didn’t keep the tab open. The blueberry soda cocktails were watery. We ordered nine Cocktails, oysters, fries and water. We spent at least $ 100, so she made tips, I didn’t like her attitude. Once seated the service was ok, the waitress hyped up the special which two of us ordered then to find out it was all out(highly likely @930!) then the apps show up 25 minutes later entrees almost an hour later. Apparently the kitchen was backed up we got a free amuse Bouche but we were starving because it was 10:30 before we ate. And just slow service all around which was surprising since it was so late. The menu is limited and the bar scene minus one blonde tude bartender was ok. I wouldn’t recommend for dinner. But location was great. I may try again but would rather go to straight wharf.

Went to Nantucket for the day and we loved this place so much we stopped there twice! First time for drinks at the bar in an open air setting right next to the boats, so beautiful! Then we decided to stop there for dinner before the ferry back. Menu is small and not too many options if you’re not looking for seafood but what is on there is delicious. I’m literally still thinking about good the tuna tartare was almost 2 weeks later! Downfall: It is definitely pricey — 2 apps and 5 drinks cost us $ 125.

Beautiful food, décor, and ambiance! The lobster ceviche is amazing. I didn’t try the lobster roll but they looked delicious. Tried every oyster on the list, nothing disappointing there. Cocktails and wine on point. Basically, you will be happy here, worth the money. And they even have coloring pages for the kids, although I am not sure you could pay me to let my kids interrupt the pleasure of eating here in peace!

We spend 2 – 3 weeks on ACK every year and Cru is a MUST for us several times each visit. We LOVE the food, atmosphere, and staff. Love sitting at the back bar. Nick is awesome! We bring all of our guests here. Soft shell crab sliders were awesome! Service is great! Can’t say enough great things about Cru!

So our first time on the island — while hubby went kite surfing I went to get my lunch lobster roll(Saturday around noon) — friendly staff but too much fuss over nothing — I was first to seat outdoors(with a toddler it’s just easier). They wouldn’t let me take my stroller(and keep the toddler tied in instead of running around). When asked to seat on couch I was told I can’t order from regular menu it’s only bar menu even though I specifically told I came for lobster roll($$$) — food itself was very good. Wine was good too though not terrific enough to justify $ 85 lunch bill Bottom line — i can see myself coming back for lunch but DEFINITELYNOT for dinner. Way too hyped over nothing. Too windy to enjoy the view evening time But then we went to pearl last night expecting spectacular dinner(based on Unilocal reviews) and it was just blah

Incredible oysters! The Wellfleets couldn’t be any plumpier and creamy. A perfect combo with the tangy local Oyster Stout. The cocktail shrimp were the biggest I’ve ever seen and tasted very fresh. The waitresses were a bit cold and uninterested. I guess our tab didn’t reach the one they’d normally expect from their patrons. I would go back for the oysters any time though, marvelous!

Amazingly, comically overpriced for cafeteria food. I’ve been going to ACK for over 20 years and this used to be the best spot, now it’s a bad joke. Made reservations, not kept, asked THREE times for separate checks, not kept. Waited waaayy to long for seats even though half the tables were empty. Music during wine fest was blasting inside and out all day so you literally couldn’t hear the person next to you.

Wine Festival weekend and we scored a table in the back by the bar with a beautiful view, cool breeze and great service. The drinks were fantastic, the waitress friendly and helpful. Then there was the food. In addition to the multiple shrimp cocktails we had the smoked Salmon with avocado and cream cheese. It was OUTSTANDING. Everything was fresh and just made for an enjoyable afternoon.
