Very quaint home with many amenities and a very welcoming host couple! My husband and I visited Nag’s Head for our Babymoon and got a recommendation from a previous guest to stay at the RelaxInn. We were welcomed by our host Eric, on arrival who was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Our room was very nice, decorated in a birds of paradise décor and had a sitting room and a large, private bathroom. The house boasted a pool, hot tub, roof top patio and various other outdoor seating areas. It was located on the second row of houses from the beach with about a 3 minute walk to the beach and 5 minutes to the pier. Every morning at 9am hot coffee was available and our hosts served us breakfast that included omelets and a breakfast casserole with veggies from the Margie’s own garden. There are only 3 rooms at this B&B so only 6 people maximum can stay at one time. Fortunately, we were the only ones there during this weekend so we had the whole place pretty much to ourselves! The RelaxInn was very close to MANY shops and restaurants, just the perfect location! If you are looking to get away and have a quite time with a hot breakfast served daily, you should check out this place!

Sat-Mon stay was perfect. Margie and Eric were perfect hosts. They were around just enough to take care of our needs, but gave us plenty of space. Daily at 8:30 there is a group breakfast(6 is the most staying each night) and an optional appetizer/wine hangout at 5:30 made the stay more welcoming. You have to checkout the observation deck at sunrise or sunset and the pool was perfect. We didn’t get in the hot tub, but it was positioned perfect for a private dip. Our rooms were super clean and it was quiet the entire time. The perfect get a way!

As the duchess of the RelaxInn, I owe it to my kingdom to share how great this place is! I say the $ 175/night is worth it. The following amenities are included: — breakfast at 8:30am(naturally, the thing to do if you’re not a morning person is take a 2.5 hour nap after eating; I may have some experience with this.) — beach access within a few blocks! — cable tv in room — beach towels, umbrellas, and beach chairs available during your stay — bathrobes — a cozy room decorated with beach-infused décor(seashells, lighthouses, sand-themed hangings) — jacuzzi and pool, not to mention hammocks for relaxing We had a wonderful stay, and I would highly recommend this place. The caretakers were kind, warm, and around in case any assistance was needed(help! A replacement beach towel is needed!).
