The service here is outstanding! I never had to wait a moment for anything I needed and the server/bartender(Freddie) was friendly, efficient and always had a smile on his face. I’ve been there a couple of times and the food and service were excellent both times. I could tell there were a lot of regulars there as they were very friendly with the staff, definitely the kind of place you would like to have as your«local».

I tried this place out for lunch with some co-workers and the service was spotty. I did however enjoy the chile relleno, yet the bean & cheese burrito I ordered looked like a kids menu item because it was so small. My co-workers ordered the chicken nachos, which were loaded with chicken and a shrimp cocktail. The only gripe I have is with the service, our server never asked if we wanted refills or even checked on us until we finished. The restaurant was not that busy, only three other tables besides us. Oh well maybe I’ll sit at their fully stocked bar next time.

Place was recommended and said was delish. Well i was extremely disappointed flour tortillas taste like plastic salsas were just OK. Has more of that TEXMEX flavor to it and didn’t taste fresh my chile verde burrito was saugie as if it was microwaved. Sorry but will not go back

Happy hour is great! Got a pitcher for $ 10 and it served probably 6 beers. The food was not hot when it got to our table. I ordered the cheese enchiladas and the cheese wasnt even melted on the inside. The taste was good, but I would prefer my cheese enchiladas to have melted cheese verses cold and shredded on the inside. Our service was good though! Our waitress was attentive and sweet.

The worst service on the planet We had the server twice he sucked both times every time I walk in there I see him there and turn around and walk out with my family Sucks cause the food is OK We’re done too many places to get fresh tacos without the bad service

Our go to spot. Menu has something for everyone. My husband loves the shrimp cocktail. My daughter always gets the carne asada burrito. And if you’re really hungry, go for the all you can eat menu. Diana, Roger & Freddy always go above and beyond. Margarita Mondays! Who doesn’t love a $ 3 margarita?

Casa Jimenez is a pretty good neighborhood Mexican restaurant. Friendly staff, good service. I meet friends there once in awhile. Food, however, is mostly mediocre.

Well i have been coming to this restaurant for some years now, i would have to say it is the finest Mexican restaurant in the Murrieta valley, our server Freddy is very friendly and customer oriented. I definitely recommend this casa Jimenez to everyone that’s in area, also recommend Freddy as your waiter because he is phenomenal.

To our server last night: do not squeeze lemons into my tea. You have no idea how much or little juice I want and frankly I don’t have a clue how clean or dirty your hands are and the thought of you handling money, a pen, cleaning rags, etc. and then juicing a lemon into my tea almost made me get up and leave. And to dump the spent lemon into my drink was another move that grossed me out. DON’T DOTHIS. Leave it up to the customer. I know Casa Jiminez doesn’t clean their lemons(most places don’t…you can see the dirt in the rinds!)…maybe a rinse if we’re lucky. So you used your probably dirty fiingers to squeeze lemons into my drink and then left the dirty peels in the glass to marinate. I’m surprised you didnt notice the disgusted look on my face as I was fishing the lemon peels out. And for record I didn’t drink the tea but don’t think you or anyone else need to know exactly how I got rid of it. Second piece of advice: clear out the dirty plates when you come to drop off a box or the check. We were thinking of having coffee and desert but the mess on the table made us want to leave. And I really didn’t want you adding the cream to my coffee for me. I know you were just trying hard to be a help… that’s why I’m not calling out your name here and why I didnt pitch a raging fit last night. I hope you are a success in life and take this advice to heart. Food here is pretty good… Although I’ve had much better carne asada at other restaurants. The asada here is very thin, very overcooked and had no noticeable flavor. Rice, beans, enchiladas, corn chips, and salsa were all above average and quite tasty. The cevieche(probably spelled that wrong) was great! Shrimp in the enchiladas was very good. We enjoyed the meal with the exception of the overcooked meat and the lemon fiasco. But…upon leaving a group of servers, bus boys, and bartenders were congragated at the the end of the bar. We had to pass them all to get to the door and you know what happened? Not one employee came to hold the door for us even though our hands were full with to-go boxes(apparently they don’t have bags for orders to-go) and I had to juggle my cane/purse/foodboxes to get out the door. Not one person said goodbye to us either. I made eye contact with several of these employees as we walked out. It’s pretty sad that out of 7+ people NOTONE had the customer service training to say goodbye or open the door. The owners need to really step in and train their staff on how to make people feel welcomed and WANT to return. At this point we probably won’t be back. There’s tons of eateries out there that will welcome my business as I arrive AND as I leave.

Carne asada was very tough. The chicken taquitos and enchiladas had very dry chicken in them. Rice n beans are great as well as the guacamole.

The mixed fajitas #24B is Sooo delicious! It comes on a heated plate with a candle. It was perfectly cooked and the meat was plentiful and juicy. I also ordered a large Stone IPA! Also the chip and salsa are a perfect starter!

Finally! A great sit-down Mexican food restaurant close to my house! First visit — great experience. Took family here for my sister’s birthday. Friendly, attentive, staff — quick service — and most importantly, good food!!! I’d prefer a bit more spice. But, I know I’m a freak when ur comes to spicy food. Definitely going back. Probably sooner than later.

I’ve had their chicken & beef soup several times & they’re always so delicious. Lots of chicken, lots of veggies and the broth is always flavorful, not watered down like a lot of other places. I haven’t tried anything else but others I’ve been with have tried pancakes and eggs, burritos, quesadillas, fish and everyone has always loved their food. Waiters are friendly & the service is always excellent

I came here for a friend’s birthday. It is his favorite place to get Mexican food so you know you have to go. First Impression: After living in San Diego as long as I have, I didn’t think much of this little place when I saw it. It looks very middle of the road and lack luster… but it is friendly and clean, which is the most important thing in terms of looks and feel. They have a fantastic all you can eat deal. I really can’t even begin to tell you what a fantastic deal it is. I had the chile relleno, a chimichanga and a verde burrito. They were absolutly delicious. I also got the side salad and the bleu cheese dressing. That was meh, but it was quite alright. I didn’t care the salsa. But I really cannot stress enough how delicious the meal was. I would be back a lot more if it was closer to my home. If you find yourself in the area, this little place is REALLY worth a try.

Check in for 10% off the already low priced meal. My friends and I did the all you can eat for $ 11.95/ person. This price does not include any drinks, strictly food. How can you go wrong picking from over 20 dishes and having an unlimited amount of food? You start out picking 3 dishes. You can order as many as you like after that. The plus side… if you don’t care for one of them no biggie, just order something else. The food is delivered to the table the same way if you were ordering entrees. The food was pretty good. Service was good. We came here starving after a full day of 4 wheeling. Almost needed a wheelchair out I was in such a food coma after.
