While the Tacos are good the customer service is lacking. A few months ago I ordered 3 dozen rolled tacos to go. Got to a party in Menifee and only had 2 dozen. Called and they were not even sorry and just told me next time I was in they would give them to me. Today I ordered almost $ 20 worth of tacos. I asked for some chips to go which are normally free. I was charged $ 1 for a tiny bag of chips and told the chips were for dine in customers only even though I purchased a lot of tacos. Then to top it off I got home and one of the fish tacos had no fish! NOFISH!!! Just cabbage, sauce, and pico. Called again and of course no manager to talk to and no apology. Left my number to be called back. I will not be given this place my business anymore.

The food was great! My husband was craving Mexican food and we decided to try this place out. The food came out quick and hot. The burrito was built the way a burrito is supposed to be built.

I can honestly say this is the worst Mexican food I’ve ever had. I ordered the 4 chicken enchilada combo for $ 9.99. These enchiladas are half the size you might expect, but is the right amount of food for a combo meal. This is $ 2-$ 3 more than I would expect to pay anywhere else. The beans, rice, and enchiladas were incredibly bland. I was surprised to find an enchilada sauce that I had to question whether it even had a taste to it. The rice and enchiladas were also burnt. I don’t know if all of their other foods are equally bland, but I just can’t imagine why anyone would bother with this place when there must be atleast 5 other Mexican food places within a mile of here.

Was really excited to try this place due to their carne asada criss cut fries but sadly their service was just not up to par. Came in on taco Tuesday at 530 and the place was slammed. Line reached the door. By 550 I was a foot away from the door. Smh. I get its busy but damn, either take orders faster and show some urgency or open up another register. Something!!! I feel bad because I can’t even review the food but the mission to get to order the food was just not worth it. Turned around and went to los jilbertos. Got my food in 5 min and it was bomb and filling. I’ll hopefully give this place another shot. Place was tiny too! I felt claustrophobic

DEFINITELY not a 4 star quality place. Asada fries were saugie and FLAVORLESS same with salsas. Adobada had way to much pineapple flavor to it. Will not return can’t believe it has 4 star rating

Speedy service, nice size menu. Highly recommend the carne asada cris cut fries! Now that right there is worth the journey. Better than most tacos shop in the Temecula Valley. Definitely a must try if your in the Kalmia Area.

I love Mexican food. It’s my fave. La Pasadita is the BEST Mexican food in the Valley!!! I’ve eaten there several times and they never disappoint. Some specifics: Not only is their food AAAAMAZING, but their burritos are the biggest around. They also have free chips and salsa(YUMMY) if you dine-in. They have a guacamole salsa to-die-for. I could drink it from a cup. Stop reading this review and getcha sum! =)

Everyone lets take a minute or two and say a prayer for the amazing posoli I just finished eating! My goodness it was outstanding. There cannot be a better satisfaction of knowing you just ate posoli at a taco shop that literally tasted like it was made at your grandmothers kitchen! The flavors where explosive. but lets not finish there, they also have this caranitas that are seriously on point like they made them at my tios rancho. Estaban tan sabrosas! Not only that I am a big fan of cevechi and my oh my where them tostadas delicious! Eveything tasted so fresh. This place is really a panty dropper for sure!

Home of the carne asada CRISSCUTFRIES!!! Bomb! I love that they have it without meat for $ 3.95 less. I’m vegetarian so i didn’t try everything, but i love that they use canola oil for frying and have vegetarian items. The hubby and the non-vegetarian kids have tried most items here and they love it! Highly recommend the crisscut fries or nachos! Bomb! They give you a side of chips while you wait for your food to be made.

By far one of the best Mexican places I have tried, EVER! And moving here from LA says a lot, since there are A LOT of Mexican places in LA. This was the first place I tried since I moved here a month & a half ago and I am already a regular. The burritos… So good! I’ve had shrimp burrito, carne Asada burrito, Surf and turf, and the California burrito and they are all so good. The downside of it is that it has too much tortilla so a big chunk of your burrito is tortilla. The carne asada fries… AMAZING! My sister has came to visit a few times and each time she wants us to go get carne asada fries, they’re that good! They are just very very fatty, so you feel super sluggish and slow afterwards. Can’t wait to try more things off their menu. I’m sure they won’t disappoint.

Decent place for Mexican-American food, but nothing special. Good things: Open salsa bar. Including avocado sauce, which is a rare and appreciated finding! Salsa verde and salsa roja were decent but not special. They had pickled carrots and jalepenos as well as roasted jalepenos. I was impressed by the wide selection of the salsa bar. Things to work on: We went on Thursday, their special was $ 1 battered fish tacos. They tasted good, but the piece of fish was so small-two bites and it was gone. The flavor of the two corn tortillas also overpowered everything else. It tasted decent, but again, a pretty average tasting fish taco. We also had the chicken taquitos. The chicken was somewhat savory wrapped in a crispy taquito and topped with avocado and cheese. This seemed to be a popular choice among the people I saw there. A popular place, at least at noon time on a Thursday.

So far I’ve had all their mini tacos, and my favorite happens to be the grilled fish tacos. It’s hard to find good fish tacos that aren’t breaded, and for the price they’re perfect! I’ve also sampled the fish burrito and that was delicious as well. My next favorites about this place is the free chips for dine in and their delicious guacamole sauce.

Who the hell puts rice and beans in a Carne asada burrito. I got so mad I almost through this thing in the trash. You guys really have to fix this asap. I should of just gone to taco bell and pay 2 bucks for a bean and cheese burrito because the amount of meat this burrito has is sad. It’s all rice and beans with 3 quarters meat. It should be call rice and beans burrito with little meat. No salsa fresca, this is an American iced burrito and this place shouldn’t be serving mexican food, it’s a shame.

Stopped by on the way home to San Diego. I had three mini tacos: carne asada, lengua, and adobada. All three were fantastic. I particularly liked the lengua. Salsa bar is also a winner with a big selection of different salsas. I tried a little of everything and loved it all. Avocado sauce was nice and mild. The light green one labeled«extremely spicy» is also really great. Husband had taquitos and quesadilla, also very good.

Been here a couple times and I just fall more in love with this place. Fish taco — Best fish taco I’ve ever had so far in my life. The fish was juicy and nicely grilled. The slaw they put complimented the fish and did not overpower the meat. Carne Asada tacos — Meat is cooked nicely and very flavorful. 10⁄10 would do it again. California burrito — I love California burritos in general but this one is one of the top of my list now. Carne asada was on point and fries were crispy and not soggy from the guac. I love their avocado sauce and their hot salsa and extremely hot salsa. The extremely hot salsa is probably my favorite even though it gets me all teary-eyed. It’s flavorful and burns my insides at the same time but I love it. I definitely would come to this place again. They also give you free chips. I love things that are free 99. Free 99 chips and extremely hot salsa sounds like a party in my mouth!

Since the ownership change — I feel the quality and quantity of food has really suffered. Definitely more greasy, less flavorful, and smaller portions. Maybe it was an off night — but I have given it two chances. I used to be a regular — don’t think I will continue to be.

If authentic matters to you(personally, I don’t care), then this is the real deal. Seafood is their forte and all the food is cooked to order which is nice bonus for a taco shop. The fish taco comes grilled and not breaded which I appreciated. It’s fresh, simple and delicious. The adobada burrito is also very good. Lots of flavor and very hearty. I was the only gringo here which is another good sign. I would return.

I like to tell people about La Pasadita because of their Crisscut Carne Asada Fries. «What? Seasoned waffle fries in lieu of regular fries?» The idea is so novel that you have to give it a second thought. While the plate is filling and definitely share-worthy, it’s not extraordinary. But again, the novelty of it makes your carne asada hunger go away once consumed. I haven’t tried much else other than the CAF and their Taco Tuesday offerings, which are still very tasty, but they have daily specials and a loyalty program of sorts. What really shines is their salsa bar. One of their verde sauces is so good(I think it’s made with avocado), I want to buy a bottle of it and put it on everything, including the complimentary tortilla chips they serve to you while you wait for your dine-in order along their sturdy tables and chairs.
