Absolutely LOVE O Salon! I have been coming here for years and would go no where else! Teri is an excellent Nail Tech and Emily is an amazing Stylist. They are both wonderful people too!!! Everyone at the salon makes you feel welcome!

Always get great service and love the way Emily does my hair. She is great at giving me advice and listens to me when I’m unsure about something. Everyone there is friendly and professional too. Highly recommend. Doesn’t hurt that they are right next door to a fab TJ Maxx either!

I always enjoy my time at O Salon. Always on time and very friendly. I usually come in for a bikini wax (I am a freelance hairdresser so I only go into salons for services I can’t do myself) if you can belive, it’s hardly painful at all — I have had waxing hurt, no idea what she does to make it virtually painless, but she is good! Never been burnt by too hot of wax. Kristina is awesome.

After searching years for a good hairdresser, my friend finally recommended Jillian at O Salon. I have been seeing her ever since. She is amazing! She really listens to what you are saying and doesn’t pressure you into doing something you don’t feel comfortable doing. Now, I mostly just let her do her thing with my hair because I completely trust her.

Karen has been my stylist for many years! She is amazing!

I have coming to Emily for years now and can’t imagine trusting someone else with my hair. I came to her with severely damaged hair and she’s really worked with me to make it nice and healthy again. She’s very sweet and knowledgable.

I have been going to O Salon in Mundelein for years! Jillian is amazing. She is one of their best at both the color and haircuts. She listens to what I need and them makes my hair look great! I recommend them.

I love getting my hair done at O Salon. They treat you like family and are always gracious hosts from the moment you walk in, to bringing you coffee, to the time you check out. They have wonderful stylists, products and prices. I also love their specials (pricing incentives) and holiday party with all the goodies. Great place!

Jen Hoffman is the BEST. She does my daughter’s hair. Great for anyone who needs a formal-​do, cut, or color. My daughter has red hair and has recently gotten blonde «balayage.» I, of course, was nervous at first, but the results were fabulous. Jen Hoffman has, too, done my eyebrows and does a great job. My daughter and I occasionally get our nails done at O Salon, and they do a very good job. All around great place, young/​fun environment – all at a good price.

For daughters 3^rd birthday, she asked to get her nails painted.
We went here and got a manicure. The staff was amazing! She was definitely pampered!

I had gone here four years ago for a color, and because I was probably a little unclear, the stylist gave me a fairly flat, purplish hue that was not flattering. BUT! I returned a year later to give them a second chance, this time with Michelle. She is PHENOMENAL. I’ve been seeing her for two years – she’s taken my thick, coarse hair from a pixie cut to an asymmetrical cut to a long bob with high lights. I’ve loved everything she’s done. The price isn’t cheap-​cheap, but is still totally reasonable, and the location is convenient. I would recommend Michelle to anyone.

Emily is the best hairdresser! I love my new haircut! The people in the salon are friendly, accommodating, and provide great customer service. Their prices I believe are better than other salons as well. I would recommend them to any of my friends and family.

I’ve been going here for 5 years now and stopped for a while when I was out of state for school. But I always always come back to Karen! She is amazing and has done so much for me and my hair, from styling to my current ombré. She tells me what works for my hair and what doesn’t, and I never feel like it’s just «her job» when she’s doing my hair. She genuinely cares, and just recently I wanted to get my hair done before I left for vacation and she had no openings but was willing to stay later on a Friday for me. I wouldn’t do that to her so I’m happy she ended up having a time open up!
All in all, I’ve never walked out of this place less than enthusiastically satisfied!

I just went and got my hair colored for the first time at a salon and I am sooooo happy!!! I had been once before for just a haircut and couldn’t wait to come back for a cut and color. Danielle did my hair both times and has done an amazing job! It is worth every penny! She explained the color to me and seemed very knowledgeable on the product which I appreciated and needed. Also, the cut is exactly what I asked for! She really listened to me and made sure I was happy. I have gotten so many compliments already.
I love going to this salon bc not only Danielle, but everyone is so friendly and always seem in a good mood. The gals doing manicures seemed like they were having a great time working which is always nice to see. The only thing O Salon should do is add wine!!! It would make it an even more fun place to be! :)

I’ve been going to O Salon for years! I originally started going there to follow my previous stylist. I’ve had several different stylists there, but have been seeing Jen really consistently for the past two-​three years. I’ve recommended this place to any of my friends who have hair :-)
I love how they are constantly going to seminars, classes, and workshops to keep up with the latest styles and techniques. I’m really into hair fashion and i love that Jen always has a new and exciting style to share with me!
Everyone that works there is super nice and they make you feel right at home! The clientele is really diverse too.

I have started this review and then ended it many times. How can you put it into words when you’ve found someone who cares about your hair almost more than you do?
Jessica is an amazing person and was trained by the best, Marni. Jessica takes her time and listens to your concerns. She gives great tips, superb haircuts and colors hair beautifully. I have never received more compliments on my new hair color! She will have you coming back on a monthly basis just so you can have her shampoo your hair, it’s an experience that is so relaxing it will transcend you. Jessica is personable and wonderful with kids. My daughter LOVES going to Jessica! We are very grateful to have her as our stylist and you will be too!

Danielle did an amazing job on my highlights and cut. I am absolutely in love with my hair. I have black hair and the highlights she put in are beautiful! It’s like she was reading my mind! Plus if you’re a new customer you get a goodie bag with free stuff for the first 4 visits. I’ve hone twice this week to see get so half my freebies are done, but I’ll be back to collect on the rest! And it’s super clean! The music magically turns up louder for some reason. Maybe a ghost or it started thinning out and there wasn’t enough people to absorb the sound.
Make an appointment because she fills up quick! Did I mention how much I love my hair? It’s fab!

Great place for manicure and pedicure. My wife had a nice relaxing time and loved every minute of it. Very much worth the price, the people were helpful and nice over the phone.
I cannot vouch for hair part of it since my wife only got a couple inches cut off and did not have any color or complex styling. Her hair looked good, but it was just shorter.

I really love this place! I stayed up in Wauconda last year for an internship and figured I should start seeing stylists in the area. I looked for a convenient place to go and there was O Salon & Spa, right by the Target off of IL 60. I gave O a whirl and they were in all ways excellent. A gal named Christina I. has given me many stylish cuts. She is also an expert when it comes to dyeing hair so that it complements skin tones, the season, and the hairstyle. They also offer nail care, skin care & other services which I have yet to try.
O’s staff is very accommodating, getting back to me through phone calls and even emailing and texting me reminders about appointments. They really go the distance & when they over-​charged me for a service, they went through a lot of trouble getting me cash back immediately. These ladies really aim to please.

I love this salon! I, too, have tried all the others. I have been a client of Mario’s for years but finally gave up after stylist after stylist tried to make my naturally curly hair straight. I also went to Touché for years and gave up when I finally came to the realization that the stylists also didn’t know how to style curly hair.
I finally tried O Salon when it opened and asked for a stylist that specializes in curly hair and they suggested Marni. She is wonderful! From the beginning she knew what to do with my very unruly, curly hair. I have been going there almost since it opened and have been very pleased.
Since going there I also have regular manicures and pedicures done. Krystyn is the best. She is knowledgeable and has always done a great job on my nails whether it be a plain manicure, Shellac or acrylics… My nails always look great. I’ve also seen Terri and she is great, as well.
I highly recommend this salon. The prices are a little on the high side, but it is nice to go in knowing you will come out satisfied.

I have been going to O Salon and Spa for about 3 ½ years now and absolutely love it! I couldn’t be any happier with the services I have received! Kari is my stylist and a perfectionist to say the least! I NEVER leave there unhappy! I always want something different and she always knows what will look best on me from my cut to color!
I have also had manicures, pedicures, and my eyebrows done there! Every time I am completely satisfied! Everyone at the salon is so friendly and very professional.
I would recommend everyone to go to O Salon and Spa! I have already referred a bunch of people and they have nothing but positive things to say as well! Enjoy!

I’m not quite sure how this place hasn’t been added to Unilocal yet because it’s over two years old. However, that being said, I am proud to be their first Unilocaler because I have nothing but good things to say about this place.
All through high school I never stuck with a stylist for more than six months. Mario’s was too expensive, Michael Thomas was terrible, and the woman who cut my hair my entire life eventually caved in to her lifelong alcoholism and sold her salon. My grandma had told me that she got a manicure at O Salon & Spa (to be further known as «O») and that it was a really nice place. I was, of course, extremely skeptical considering it’s location — lodged between a Subway and a Staples in a Target strip mall — but I gave it a shot anyways. Turns out it is a beautifully designed and maintained Redken salon with an expertly trained staff and a full storefront of products (including OPI polishes and Pureology shampoos) for purchase. Got my hair cut/​colored by a girl named Christina. Was happy with it and ended up discussing it my best friend. Turns out, she and her mother were ALSO clients of O and she suggested that I ask for Kari for my next cut. A few months later I made my appointment with Kari and I’ve been loyal ever since (going on two years now). I have had nothing but great hair cuts and colors although I have since stopped the coloring due to the expense of upkeeping it. Kari is patient with me when I don’t know exactly what I want and she always styles it in the cutest fashion. I end up checking myself out in the store windows after I leave because I’m always so darn happy.
The prices are a little on the high side (Kari’s being $ 45) but I think that a great cut is worth the cost. I also get my waxes from a different Christina. Fifteen dollars for eyebrows is what she charges (I think). I never have a problem getting an appointment and cannot think of a single complaint I have about them. They were even super understanding when I canceled an updo appointment three hours before my time. Don’t let the location fool you, O Salon is definitely upscale and won’t disappoint.
