I wish I could give Karma a rave review but we didn’t actually get to eat here. My husband made Mother’s Day brunch reservations for my family. When we arrived with my 14 month old son, I requested a highchair. My husband did mention this when making the reservation. They brought me a broken high chair. The host/manager said he would find me another working one if we could wait a couple minutes. We waited for 15 minutes and nothing. My husband informed the host/manager we would be leaving and that it would be nice if they had working highchairs for Mother’s Day brunch. We will not be returning.

I had the Ruben tonight. It was great. The bartenders are very attentive and great personalities. For a hotel restaurant and bar I give this two thumbs up. The price was a little high on the entrees. But the dishes coming out around me looked and smelled good! Neat place.

The back space is breathtaking, and even better yet, they are double booked for weddings so they can share the beautiful space! The service, Tim, was awesome. So knowledgeable about the menu and the restaurant. They normally don’t allow the space in the back to be open for dinner but for us they made the exception! For dinner I had the meatloaf, I love me some comfort food. Honestly it tastes like it was nuked so it wasn’t my taste, hence the rating, but the space makes up for it! The best thing, you get vouchers for their good continental breakfast and one free drink when you stay at the hotel.

I loved the bisque and the duck,. I also tried the«Karma Ramen» not so much… Overall I give the food 4.5 stars, I really enjoyed it. The service however, left much to be desired… Guess it’s a luck of the draw deal, players beware!

Sigh. I’m leaving a bad review in the hopes that they get their shit together and go back to former glory. With two small kids at home, we rarely get a night out. Our first experience was fantastic: The bartender was a pretty, athletic blonde who mixed up some amazing drinks! We enjoyed the food and the staff. If I had Unilocaled then, I might’ve left five stars. This time, the bartender could hardly be bothered. A petite brunette, she was eating her dinner at the bar on a busy night with lots of customers in attendance. In between, she was chatting up another staff member(the manager?) who took a personal phone call at the bar and seemed to be nitpicking customers. She made pretty good drinks but wasn’t very personable. Then, she charged my husband’s card with someone else’s bill in addition to ours. Did she tell us about it? No. She swiped the refund but it had already pulled the funds for a 48 hour hold. We found out the next day when he checked his account. Oh, and they used to have a deal on martinis, no more. Oh, and they used to have these amazing mussels on the menu, no more. Do I ever want to go back? no more.

The soup was cold and instead of bringing a hot new bowl they nuked it… The trout was horrible, drenched in sauce, salty, .The chicken overcooked… Would not go back!

I had the most delicious Salmon at Karma. Great service wonderful food. Took my husband and he agrees.
