I used to like this Starbucks but I avoid it whenever I can. This Starbucks SUCKS. Not only are they SLOW, it appears to be more important for all the employees to have a chitty chat session when the line is out the door, not to mention on a week day when customers are trying to get coffee on the way to work. Newsflash– this is not a night club, we don’t care that you can throw the whip cream canister in the air and catch it behind your back. You might have a BAC level over .08 but there is no liquor being poured in the coffee at this Starbucks. Because they are so damn slow, i decided to use the mobile app. Big mistake even on a Sunday afternoon. I waited more than 20 minutes and asked why it was taking so long. They seemed so surprised and said they would start making my drink. Apparently this store does not honor mobile orders and it takes longer than waiting in the line that often goes out the door. Does this store only hire really dumb people? Dumb and dumber must work here. Once i asked for a $ 15 and a $ 10 gift card. What did I get, a gift card that had $ 25 loaded on one card. The problems goon and on. Stay away from this Starbucks !!! I would at least think they can handle making a simple mocha coffee. Big mistake on my part thinking Starbucks could make a coffee drink. Isn’t Starbucks in the coffee business?

I personally don’t enjoy writing negative reviews but the place had my blood boiling. I went to meet up with my mother for lunch at this location, while on my way I thought I’d try to use the order through the app option for my first time. While sitting with my mother I watched the gentleman(heavier set with glasses and a beard who I was then told was the manager but not given a name when I asked, since none of the associates here where name tags) making my drink in excitement. He proceeds to get the attention of another associate and read off my order talking about how ridiculous and picky I was with a huge sigh. The other gentleman shook his head and they just laughed. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing and seeing. I’m guessing as it was a mobile order they didn’t think I would arrive so soon, not that that justifies them making fun of me. Even more so that this is the manager for this location. I’m not giving this location a 1 star rating because aside from his petty inappropriate unprofessional manner, the rest of his staff are excellent !

I am only giving this location 3 stars because they were really good about offering a refill. Today around 2:30pm I purchased an iced soy macchiato and to my surprise it had curdled at the bottom of my cup, after letting it sit while I was driving to work. I am disgusted to the thought that they might not be checking their expiration dates. Also regarding time, I am not sure if this location is a training store or what but almost every single time I go in there, they take 15+ min. on a basic drink such as black iced tea! either they need to get more staff or they need to retrain. Sad because this is the only Starbucks near my job. :(

I don’t drink coffee very often, but when I do, I usually go to this Starbucks. The atmosphere is awesome! They have a lot of regulars and the staff seems to know all of them. As of late I have been going more often, and the staff is starting to remember me. It’s a nice feeling that they can remember all those people. Just want to say, Justin(I believe he is the manager) is awesome! Always friendly and funny!

I work down on Logue Ave. I come here sometimes when I need a pick me up. First couple times were great had a great staff and fast with my drink. However, the last few times, unfortunately, as the other reviews have stated I encountered the rude staff. *sigh* had to stand and wait in line while an employee(that was on the clock, because she was the one who rang me up) buys her panini. Didn’t receiver a «hello we will be right with you» from either of the two woman at the register. There was a friendly guy making the drinks(he could tell I was getting irritated fairly quick) and told me they would be with me shortly. I will consider visiting this Starbucks again, hopefully after a few more visits I can update.

They got whistling baristas! Orson Wells would be mighty impressed that they’ve not only reduced the language but eliminated some speach altogether.

i used to frequent this starbucks when i lived in mountain view, but not so much anymore since i live further away and am rarely in this part of the city. i was running some errands in monta loma plaza earlier today and was in need of something quick and nutritious so i went in and ordered a spinach feta cheese breakfast wrap. for this item, i expect to pay, then wait 1 – 2 minutes while they heat it up, put it in a bag, and call my name. for some reason, today, i ended up waiting more than 1 – 2 minutes for my name to be called. i noticed that the customer in front of me had his drink and food order completed, and i also noticed that the folks behind me, at least 3 of them, also had their orders completed before me. why the heck was my one, simple order sans drink, taking longer than these other customers’ orders? no idea… and it wasn’t terribly busy at the time i visited. a few minutes later, my order was ready, and it was served piping hot just the way i like it. i munched on it while i was driving to my next destination and it satisfied my need for something nutritious and delicious. will take note the next time i visit this location that i may need to spend more than 1 – 2 minutes for my order to be completed.

Nice interior. Standard drinks. Slow service. Rude staff. My first time here I had to wait a very long time for my chai latte even though I was the second person in line out of three people. Service was extremely slow because the barista was too busy talking to someone. Second time the person who took my order made a rude and demeaning comment to me out of nowhere. It was a bad joke. I didn’t think it was funny and I don’t understand why he was saying this to me. I do not like the staff here at all, and I won’t be back. Usually I don’t care about subpar service, but this is an exception because some of the staff members really need to work on themselves and be less inconsiderate to customers who are acting completely neutral. It also gets too crowded when I need a seat, so it forces me to leave to find somewhere else so I can have my drink. It’s great to have many other starbucks and coffeeshops to choose from. Usually I take negative reviews with a grain of salt. Unfortunately as I browse through, I can very well see how the other negative experiences described here are justified.

Nice little Starbucks on the corner of Middlefield and Rengstorff. It’s right next to Fresh & Easy supermarket and neighbors some smaller stores in the strip mall. Great for errands and stop-by alike. Lots of parking, leather couches, outside seating, Starbucks Rewards and Google wifi. Deal.

Not the best Barbista drink maker because I asked for whip with extra Carmel on top(clearly) which I didn’t get. The drink that I usually get Carmel flan is usually a good looking drink but they rushed it out.

Awesome location. Staff is always friendly and although I’m not a regular myself, they are always striking up conversations with the regular customers who stop in. They seem to always have baked goods in stock and make their drinks very consistent. There is also plenty of parking and if you need to eat lunch or dinner, try Bangkok Bistro in the same plaza.

I go here a lot because of its convenient location and the fact that their drinks are pretty consistent. However, they’re also pretty consistent at providing questionable, if not awful, customer service. I understand that a lot of the staff is young, but being young does not mean that you are given a free pass to act like a total asshat. The older people on staff are really friendly and there are many one or two young baristas that I like, but other than that, their staff really puts me off. They’re consistently rude and on almost every visit there, I witness something that makes me want to roll my eyes and punch someone in the face. Maybe it’s because I come from working in the service industry, but I really don’t think that basic hospitality and manners should be forgotten simply because you’re trying to be cool. There’s a fine line between being funny and being completely inappropriate. Also, it’s really not cool to see staff members being rude to each other. It’s really uncomfortable. I also find it really awkward when I get hit on by the baristas, which has happened on more than one occasion. Thank you, it’s really nice of you, but I’m really not that cool and I really just want to get my coffee and get out. Also, it’s one thing to call a girl beautiful and another to act like a total creep. Stay away from the latter. They’re also really slow and when there’s a line building up, it takes FOREVER. It’s fine on weekends when I don’t have work, but it’s such a hassle in the morning. It also doesn’t help when it seems like they’re being slow because they don’t know what they’re doing… not a great impression. I don’t know. I have really mixed feelings about this place. Mostly negative, but I think my first few experiences really just put a bad taste in my mouth so I’m not particularly fond of this location.

I drove by this starbucks while looking for a coffee shop to do work. THis is a very spacious starbucks with the regular starbucks’ mood lighting. Leather couches, sofa café table seating, and tables along the wall. There is even a TV in the middle that tells you what song is playing! The staff is friendly and the trashcan isn’t overfilled. Nice place to sit before you grocery shop next door at Fresh and Easy!

This is my local Starbucks. I go here nearly every day. The people are really nice and friendly. It’s clean and spacious, and there is rarely much of a line. I’ve never had a problem there. There’s plenty of space to relax inside if you want, and even more room to relax outside and enjoy sunny the California weather. Sit by yourself and enjoy the Daily News, or your portable device, or bring a friend and have a nice visit. A pretty good deal for two bucks, if you ask me. If you’re hungry, you can get lunch at Starbucks, or Shoreline Grill, Chipotle, or Eric’s. This is a great spot for a break, or lunch, anchored by the Starbucks.

Great, great staff! I am always thoroughly impressed by all of the baristas I come across. I have been coming to this Starbucks location for 9+ years already. Throughout the years I am constantly seeing new and new baristas; nevertheless, they have all been great! I am a regular Starbucks customer to this location and a gold card owner! :) I took away a star due to the heavy rush of customers in the AM. Beware of the long line to the door. Not to mention, the lack of tables and seating in the mornings.

Great staff! Super-friendly. Clean and roomy location. Music is generally good – something that isn’t universal with Starbucks – and the décor actually feels like a coffee shop. Wi-Fi works every time I’m here and works from the outdoor seating as well. It’s not super-fast but it works.
