Walked in the door and was confused, only saw branding for Jazen Tea, and nothing for Phở Hoa. Not a good start, should have walked out, as it only got worse. Horrible service. Waited over 30 min for 2 bowls of chicken phở. Server did come out after 20 min and said it would be right out, but was another 10 min. The phở was just ok, and didn’t have much chicken. The bathroom was unnecessarily complicated to get to with all the locked doors that requires a code to go through and get back into the restaurant. Will never come back here again.

Food is great! Been to a lot of Phở places and these guys continue to improve. They listen to Unilocal reviews and try to accommodate everyone. Food is great, service is great.

My friend and I went in right before closing and they were nice enough to serve us hence the extra star. Affordable, decent phở!

I was waiting in line for the bathroom. I heard a flush, and immediately the door opened. A worker came out and she appeared to be fixing her pants still. It appeared that she didn’t wash her hands after using the restroom. I watched her as she was working and of course, she was touching food such as the bean sprouts and basil. It’s really disgusting to see things like this. Anyone handling food with their bare hands needs to ALWAYS practice good hand hygiene and wear gloves. I contracted the stomach flu a few days later after eating here.

So disappointed! This place is overpriced and mediocre. They give you hardly any meat in your phở. I ordered a side of beef ball… you literally get ONE, which is cut in quarters ! Unbelievable. Surprised this place got 4 out of 5 stars. There are sooooo many better places to go. I suggest choose elsewhere.

I come here specifically for the tea. I love them! Tried the food a couple of times but after seeing how dirty the restrooms are I couldn’t stomach it anymore. Service is mostly good. Most servers are nice. On our last visit we had a really rude cashier that did not appreciate questions being asked.

The«Just Enough» size is literally just enough phở for me! Phở Hoa is one of the phở spots that are open until midnight. This location carries Jazen Tea along with popcorn chicken. Yum. The service here is super prompt & friendly.

3 stars is about right. Not enough meat in the phở. Sub-par for sure. To top it off $ 11 for a mediocre meal. This place can suck deez nutz.

It seems cleaner than the phở To Chau across the street. Services is good… They give you points if you are five star member. I dont drink milk tea but if you want milk tea, they have it. Also, on the wall, they have all the name of the cities besides Vietnam :)

Good thing is it is open till late night. I went here last night and was disappointed that they did not have many vegetarian options. Ended up just ordering some tea(which I did not like) and then going home cooking. The might might be great, but definitely not a friendly place for vegetarian lovers.

I come here ALLTHETIME! for late night phở sessions. It is not your best flavored phở broth, but It is definitely better than a lot of phở joints. They have milk tea too and it has more of a fruity touch to it. The drinks are pretty creative in their own ways, I like their mango bits and strawberry bits drinks. People here are SOOOONICE! The phở hoa in santa clara is as yummy too, but their service is bad. So for better service come here!!!

I speculated that this place was basically Vietnamese fast food, which was confirmed when the guy at the table next to me ordered phở and it came out literally 30 seconds later. I got the vermicelli with pork and rolls, and was pleased to find it came with a generous side of nuoc cham. Overall, it was good, but not phenomenal — just like fast food. It did the job, but wasn’t special. I also had a milk tea with boba, which came in a comically short-n-squat cup. But the portion was generous and it tasted good, so no complaints. With Asian Box not too far away and similarly priced, I’ll probably only opt to come here when I want boba too.

On Castro street, Phở Hoa offers phở in a modern, sleek environment. We opted to sit in the communal tables to get a look at the two television screens with the Warrior v. Rocket game playing. My friend ordered the large steak phở, and I ordered the regular chicken phở. There’s really nothing special to say about the phở. The chicken was dry, and it was just okay. The large steak phở was not filling enough for my friend. The meat was good, and plentiful, but they skimped on the noodles. Service was okay, took awhile to get seated even though there was no line, so we were just awkwardly standing there for a couple minutes waiting to get someone’s attention. The prices were acceptable, and they come with a deal in terms of the drinks/boba they serve there. We were both served one small plate of complimentary sprouts and basil, which was just enough. The seating was plentiful.

Their first concern when you step through the door is whether you plan on eating there or getting take-out – not a welcome. I got a pork chop rice plate with a fried egg. The pork chop was on the thicker side with a lot of fat. The sauce was also a little too sour. I sat right across from the register but it was still difficult to get anyone’s attention for more water. I didn’t get a chance to try a smoothie, but maybe that’s what’s really worth coming here for because the rice plate certainly was not convincing at all.

The food here isn’t great but appreciate that they open till late, at least relative to the other eateries in the area. The skin for the summer roll was far too sticky and dry, while the meat, broth and noodles in the bowl of phở left much to be desired. For the same price, you could get much better phở at Phở Vi Hoa.

Let me just say that barely anything in Mountain View is open late. Phở Hoa is an exception. If you are craving food past midnight and don’t feel like getting In-N-Out, Phở Hoa is open LATE(not 24-hours, but still). The phở is not great though. Is it terrible? No, but it’s okay. You’ll get your food quickly and there’s a self serve area where you can get as many bean sprouts as you’d like. The broth can sometimes be a bit sour(two of my friends have attested to this), but about half the time it’s fine. Phở Hoa is also partnered(or is now a part of? I really have no idea) with Jazen Tea now, so you can get something cool to drink with your hot phở if you’d like. Basically: Not the best phở, but it works if you’re out late or having late-night cravings in a town where barely anything’s open past midnight.

Phở is pretty good. No complaints there. Also, their services is fairly good. I tried getting their Vietnamese coffee which is unfortunately made through a machine making the taste not pretty bad, versus if it was done through a regularly filter. In short: recommend the Phở, not the coffee.

2.5 star This is a quick bite for phở when I’m getting out from the club on the weekends. I’m usually so hungry after all night of dancing and phở is the perfect choice. Its quick, its decent, its not as cheap as I hoped for especially for the quality we are getting but nothin else is open past midnight near the area so I’ll settle… almost $ 20 for 2 phở. I also get the jazen tea and I got the groupon for it. Service is barely there but they do the minimal and the rest just get up and get it yourself.

Friends and I desperately needed somewhere to eat dinner on New Years Day and this was one of the few places open. Service was really slacking here. took us forever to get seated even though we were the only people waiting in line lol. We literally could have just seated ourselves. Anyways, it was also hard flagging people down because the waiters were all working in the tea station so we had to go fetch them which isn’t a huge deal. They do their bean sprouts/basil/lime/vegetable stuff at a get it yourself bar which I think is pretty neat! Great concept. I got the #1JE(just enough). JE was indeed just enough to keep me full for the moment but leave me ravishingly hungry a few hours later in our night excursion. Noodles were good, very few steak pieces, and the soup was alright. Nothing great, but nothing terrible. tldr; all over okay experience… nothing spectacular

u g h . Horrible service, horrible attitude. I ordered the pork chop dish, and she didn’t give me a knife so I asked for one… and the waitress gave me a really bewildered look and proceeded to take chopsticks and stab at my food for me! As if I was a 3 year old kid. What the literal fuck? Why are you touching my food? I just wanted a knife! Thanks for macerating my lunch! Also, the vegetable sides they give you are obviously really old. The lettuce was yellowed and soggy… bleh. ALSO another thing that really irritated me was that at the other Phở Hoa location(in Cupertino), all rice plates come with a small bowl of soup and one egg roll. This location does not do that. Normally this wouldn’t bother me, but when the food itself is sub-par and the service is horrific… That was really the last straw. Never coming here again. The only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 is because this still does not stoop as low as the four or five 1-star establishments I’ve been to.
