Now located in the Chase Bank parking lot, while the old building on Castro(and surrounding buildings) get taken down to be replaced by a new development. They built this portable Peets quickly but they did a really nice job creating a cozy interior with plenty of nice seating. It has all the goodness you would expect from a regular Peets.

Brand new location across from the old store. It’s the first day of the brand new store as one of the regular baristas informed me while ringing up my orders. Lots more sitting area, both inside and outside. Even a handicapped access ramp, which the old one did not have. I will definitely be back as it is a brand new location and it is very clean.

Lots of seating! It’s across El Camino Real from downtown Mountain view so I like to get my coffee here then walk to work and return when I need that $ 1 refill. Always a pleasant experience. Sometimes they don’t put the soymilk out on the counter tho. As long as cinnamon and honey are stocked I am happy!

This is a nice Peet’s, although it can get VERY busy. Drinks are usually pretty quick, and parking is plentiful. I only wish there was more outdoor seating.

There’s something special about this place having terrible internet for years. People don’t disturb your reading as much. Staff remembers my name even after I come back from the months long no-coffee-anymore-ever holidays.

Peet’s is a great place to grab decent coffee in Mountain View where parking is easy and staff is friendly. There’s plenty of space to sit and relax. There’s some talent«in training» behind the counter during my last visit over the weekend. …might have to stop by more frequently! …hot drinks were okay… as my latte came out too hot…

Big location with lots of seating and still a big open area for people to stand and wait for drinks — huge plus because its never too crowded! There is also a big parking lot that is easily accessible. Go to drink: the black tie. The perfect amount of sweetness if you like cold brew but don’t like like the bitterness of completely black coffee.

For the times when I wish my coffee to be ever so slightly less corporate and I’m not up to making the drive Philz, I like me some Peets coffee. Honestly, the coffee is better then Starbucks. I find their House Blend to be far less acidic and burt tasting then ‘Bucks. Also with their mixes, they don’t slam it with too much sweetness or flavor shots to overpower the not so great quality of some of the coffees and espresso used at their rivals. I find the staff to always be generally nice and helpful.

Have come here twice. Service was friendly, drinks were solid. Bear claw tasted stale-ish and lackluster both times. Maybe the other pastries are better? Also, was trying to get some work done and Internet was unusably slow(even just doing email).

If you go in the early morning, you would find the perfect cup of latte crafted with love. It has such a smooth and rich foam, which made the expresso taste just right. You don’t need to pay a fortune to enjoy a rich creamy latte, as elsewhere in this neighborhood. The afternoon shift is solid, but the foam you get would be a tad different. I guess the skill of the individual barista do varies.

Adding to my previous comments about Amy and Cory. Kind, full of humanity and joy. They work smart and hard. I just heard Amy’s laughter, always A necessary ingredient to life, work and great cup of Jo.

I’m not a huge Peet’s fan but I will say I enjoyed this experience(it was this past Tuesday) because it was the first time I actually opted for an iced latte instead of a hot one… ahem the weather was crazily hot! Anyway, I really liked the drink… it tasted way better than Peet’s hot lattes, probably because you can’t taste the slight bitterness much with the ice cubes. I ordered an iced almond milk latte. I was in the area on Tuesday so I came by but I would probably only come by when I am in the area again and I need coffee; I probably should also mention that I have a gift card so that definitely made it an easy choice to come here.

Came here to study after church. Easy parking since it has it’s own private lot. Pretty crowded. I wish they had more bigger tables. They had a lot of small round tables. I do like how service is quick, friendly, and very open place. I ordered the green tea mojito drink. Very refreshing taste. Not much of a mint taste. But«infused» meant lemonade, iced tea, and some syrup. If you check in, you get 1 dollar off of a tea drink, BONUS!

I had a café au lait. I didn’t like it. The guy who took our order was very big and tall — I think he might be an Avenger in his spare time. If a bad guy from a Marvel alternate universe breaks through the door while you’re drinking your bad coffee, I’m pretty sure the guy behind the counter will take care of the problem. Three stars for that.

I generally enjoy Peet’s coffee more than Starbucks, so perhaps this review is unfair because I really do actually get coffee here. This location is convenient, and has similar features to the Starbucks down the street with the outdoor seating and spacious interior. The only complaint I have, and this is across ALL Peet’s … is that their tables are so FRIGGINSMALL. Once my 15″ MBP goes on, basically nothing else can. I have to constantly be aware of where my drink is so I don’t accidentally knock it over. lol … not ideal! However, the staff is friendly, the lighting is fantastic especially when it’s sunny out, and it’s overall a great place to meet friends before or after a meal depending on their beverage preferences.

This Peet’s is located in a very strange parking lot. My friend and I were confused by the arrows here. It almost felt like a trap! Inside the Peet’s is very spacious. Their pastry container was to the left of the cashier(a bit awkward positioning). I was impressed by the number of scones that they had here, but I was extremely disappointed to find no chocolate scones. I went to a Peet’s in Redwood City and found them there, but there were none to be had here. Also, Unilocal had this deal where it was $ 1 off milk almond mocha, and while I showed it to the cashier, she forgot to take off the $ 1, so it was fun asking her for $ 1 back. The marble cake here is good(maybe a tad bit dry) but still delicious.
