Dinnie’s Delights

Dinnie did a great job at our daughter’s birthday party this past weekend. She came a little early to set up and stayed until every kid got their face painted! Her full face designs were particularly impressive and she had a big range of possibilities for the kids to choose from. The party was puppy themed and some of the puppy/​animal faces that she did were just amazing. She was also very nice and easy to work with! I’d definitely recommend her to anyone in the local area looking for similar entertainment!

Dinnie came recommended by a friend when I was doing some relatively last-​minute searches for face-​painters. I reached out to her less than two weeks from our two-​year-​old birthday party date and she was able to connect us with Sandra, who became the hit of our party! I loved how Dinnie worked with me through email to consider how many kids would be in attendance so we could calculate a length of time to have a face painter in attendance and not end up overpaying for idleness.
Everybody loved Sandra and raved about her talent. At one point early on, we had more parents with face/​arm paintings than we did kids! She was great with the kids and her dogpatch outfit was a hit. Our theme was dinosaur train so I was most concerned about finding somebody who could make cool dinosaurs and awesome trains, but I loved how she gave everybody something very unique and exactly what they wanted! (we had a lot of girls, so there were lots of flowers and unicorns and what not!) I also liked how she painted the arms of the really young ones so they could see what she was doing and then easily see the finished product. My son was very proud of the Thomas train painted on his forearm. This experience convinced me to do this again and and again and again and future birthday parties!

I’ve hired Dinnie’s Delights two times so far. Dinnie helped me by providing facepainting services as well as sourcing talent. Once I hired a pirate and another time a Batman.
You have to see Dinnie’s facepainting to really understand how masterful she is. There are amateur painters, experienced ones, then there’s Dinnie. Seriously, she teaches other painters how to do it. My party was last year and I still get asked by guests for a referral to that amazing facepainter who created works of art on their kids’ faces and arms.
I would hire her again in a second and give her a full 5-​star recommendation.

We hired Dinnie to do facepainting at our daughter’s 6^th birthday party recently. She was everything we were expecting and more. She arrived on time, set up her magical facepainting table, and then spent the next hour and a half thoroughly dazzling the kids with her amazing artistry. Some kids were glued to the spot simply watching her. She painted unique butterflies, unicorns, and rainbows. One little boy even looked like he came right off the Broadway set of Cats. She was friendly, attentive, and very skillful. She was also good at estimating how much time to allocate to each child’s request so she wouldn’t go over time. We’ll definitely invite her back again for stress-​free party entertainment.
