I did some work there with the owners prior to opening. I’m surprised they stayed open as long as they did.

This is a great location for a casual restaurant, especially one offering early morning breakfast. It has an attractive exterior and comforting interior. My first visit was at lunchtime. I had the roast beef sandwich; it was decent, though not memorable. However, the service and atmosphere was pleasant enough that I was willing to give it another chance. I returned for a late breakfast a couple weeks later. I had the Stewie Louie: an over-medium egg with bacon, on a Kaiser roll, with arugula and a drizzle of honey. It was an unorthodox combination for a breakfast sandwich but all of the other breakfast menu options seemed heavier than I wanted at that time. It turned out to be just right. The Kaiser roll was light, so it didn’t weigh down the rest of the ingredients, and pliable enough that I could eat the sandwich without having to contort my mouth or tear up my lip on crusty edges. The touch of peppery crispness from the arugula was balanced nicely by the hint of sweet honey. The runny, but only slightly messy, yolk was fine for me. Of course, yolks are a rather sensitive issue for a lot of people, so if that is a sticking point for you, make sure to ask about alternative preparations. I’m glad to have Morgan’s Market as another local option in the neighborhood. I look forward to giving lunch another try soon.

Glad to see a local option opening up in this area. They did a great job with the décor, everything is light and airy with plenty of sunshine. The menu is limited but the variety of offerings are decent for such a little place. The salad I ordered was very large and filling however the ingredients and flavor weren’t as enticing as I hoped. I need to go back soon and try some more menu options.

Beautiful restaurant inside and out. Food came out quickly which was nice as our group was out for business. We really enjoyed the Warm Brie salad, Hawaii 5 – 0, pimento Mac salad, and the cinnamon roll. The farm-stand panini was a little bland and disappointing. It’s a bit pricey for what you get but a welcomed addition to the area!

Great food at reasonable prices… especially like the happy hour prices on FOOD. Closes at 7 pm, serves breakfast, lunch, and early dinner. Menu rotates with season, and they have a beautiful deli case with desserts, frozen homemade pasta, sauces. Mostly sandwich and salad menu, but upscaled. Restaurant is very attractive, and also have outside dining.

Tried this new spot out for a «working» lunch. We narrowly beat the crowds, so win right off the bat. The menu itself seems promising– lots of salads and sandwiches. They also have a robust coffee menu, which might be the better choice. That’s pretty much where the good-factor ends. I ordered a sandwich, which as I write this, it escapes me what I had(that’s how little impact it had on me). If I recall, it was a BLT, or something similar. Anywhoo– my coworkers each had a salad. Now, given how much the salads cost, one would think they would be slightly heartier than they were. Also, one of the salads was missing key ingredients(namely, the bacon). Not to mention, my food came out noticeably later than the rest of the group, leaving for the awkward«Don’t wait for me– eat!» conversation, while I try not to creepily watch every bite go into their mouths. I’d venture back for coffee and perhaps a pastry, which looked delicious. I’ll pass on lunch.

I think that this place has so much potential. They did an awesome job with the remodel and it is very cozy and cute on the inside. However, my husband and I were disappointed with the menu. We were there around 10:30 am on a Saturday and were hoping for breakfast. We were told that there wasn’t a breakfast menu. No eggs, no breakfast sandwiches. The only options were pastries or to order from the lunch menu. We settled on the caprese and the summer sandwich and we were both disappointed. Bread wasn’t fresh and the ciabatta roll used for the caprese was huge and thick and dry. On the summer sandwich it was supposed to come with corn that had been grilled or charred and it wasn’t and seemed like it came right out of a can. We really want this place to step it up and improve to live up to its potential. I hope they keep refining the menu to find what works for them. But please consider adding some breakfast sandwiches!

We have been anxiously waiting for Morgan’s Market to open & were so excited for a restaurant to join the neighborhood. Although they did a great job with the renovations, dinner tonight was so disappointing! Two salads and two beers(during happy hour) was $ 41…included a tip for a total of $ 48. A little steep for a serve-yourself café with plastic forks and knives. Both salads had refrigerator-cold chicken & my salad lacked an ingredient that was listed on the menu. We will try again in hopes that they add items to the menu and overcome their«growing pains!» Would love to see breakfast items and dinner entrees!

Excellent!!! I was in town visiting from Chicago and staying with family who live near by. On my past few visits we had seen some work being done on the building and we were hoping for a gem. It’s exactly that, a gem! Their food was excellent. Delicious, thoughtfully prepared menu items that were fresh and that also had several locally sourced ingredients. The price point is perfect for a casual spot with high quality food. They have a fantastic sandwich and salad menu. The desserts were delicious and gorgeous. The restaurant itself is absolutely charming. Beautifully decorated. It feels cozy, inviting and comfortable. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The staff could not have been nicer. Never their coffee is excellent. They also offer a selection of local, packaged foods and sweets. Fresh, refrigerated pastas and sauces to take home an cook. I love a locally owned and operated spot like this. I will definitely be back again the several times a year I spend in the area.

My husband and I love this place! Super cute, lots of locally sourced options and a to-die for pastry selection. Staff is very friendly. Whether you are in the mood for coffee, tea, food, beer or wine, they have it all. Definitely recommend!

Morgan’s Market is the best place you can find a reasonably priced salad and sandwich– and healthy! MM focuses on the Lowcountry aspect of the area with a casual dining experience. Soup, Salads, Sandwiches; vegetarian and vegan friendly! Oh. and you need to try the deserts. and the coffee. Buy local and know you’re contributing to your very own community.
