Prior to living in Charleston, Walmart made me want to gauge my eyeballs out. Actually it wasn’t so much the Walmart as the people of Walmart, specifically the one in Doraville, GA, that made me avoid this place like the plague. That said I think this is largely a testament to the people of Mount Pleasant, but this one is actually really decent. I still avoid the meat and produce because it sketches me out, but otherwise I do all my grocery shopping at Walmart these days. It is SO much cheaper than Harris Teeter for all of your basic grocery needs. Case in point: a bottle of Andre champagne that’s $ 6.99 at Harris Teeter is $ 3.99 at Walmart. Like I’m pretty sure I could save enough money shopping at Walmart in a year to pay for a vacation. It’s relatively clean and organized. The employees are alright. It’s a bold statement, but I rarely even make the effort to drive to Target these days. Honestly for the price, the Mount P Walmart is pretty awesome.

I’ve never used Walmart for prescriptions, but Target has a terrible prescription system and Walmart has a similar generics list. Transferred my prescription over via the online form, and called in the next day to confirm. Of course they never received the notification. Then they called the pharmacy and were told they don’t carry that medication, so Walmart called me back to relay that to me. I assured them that the information was correct, and somehow they made it work. Only a few people in line when I showed up before closing, could be better, could be worse. Overall not an amazing experience but I’m hoping now that it’s in the system it’ll be easier next time.

Honestly, do they just let anybody work at Wal-Mart now? The employees are so blazingly rude and disrespectful, it’s a wonder why it’s still in business

I will always have a hatred for Walmart. But, overall this Walmart is o.k. I feel like the workers are not happy here. I always try to smile at them and ask them how their day is going. This Walmart is also super clean. And I love the nail salon inside

Not sure why they said this place was renovated, because it wasn’t. Same as every other Wal-Mart but just has a smaller selection. Bare shelves are common, but of you want cheap prices this is the place to go.
