Hot pastrami with Swiss on rye. Limited places in this area to get one, and this is the best I’ve found!

Hot pastrami was great could have been better if sliced little thicker. Hot brisket was awesome. Overall I’m glad found this place. Service was outstanding.

Best matzah ball soup in the whole world. Whenever I can I come here for the soup and pastrami on rye. Best of the best of best. Don’t ever change.

We enjoy this fine deli/restaurant. Very friendly service; delicious food and soups. Comfy setting in the dining area; nice and quiet and not rushed like other establishments that rush you out. Love their grilled cheese and specials(sandwiches) and chick noodle soup. Even their thick napkins are classy. 5 stars! consistently good quality. They also accept coupon from verizon rewards program. Nice.

I would consider myself a Jew Food Aficionado and this place missed the mark. Went for a Sunday morning nosh. My wife and I ordered the mini brunch for two including regular lox and whitefish salad. First and foremost… Learn how to slice lox, it is not shaved into little unrecognizable pieces. It should be sliced thin but remain whole. Secondly the bagels were from yesterday… They certainly were not a good philly bagel. We also ordered pastrami hash… Now I have had corned beef hash at many places, but never had pastrami hash… For $ 7.00 the portion was maybe 2oz of pastrami and some over cooked potatoes. The tiny portion look lost on the plate it was served on. Coffee was warm not hot as they served the refill in one of those tin pitchers you see being used for tea… So all in all eh… Nothing to really rave about

We were on our way back to VA from a trip to NYC and used Unilocal to find us a non-fast food restaurant in Jersey. It took us to this deli and for that, we are thankful. My wife had the brisket sandwich which came with a side of home made bbq dipping sauce. It was excellent. I had the grilled pastrami on rye, out of this world. My son had a meatball parm sub and the marinara was awesome. One of the best parts of the meal was the free home made pickles they gave you as an appetizer. The only slight negative was the baklava. I wasn’t the biggest fan of that. All in all, would highly recommend it.

Wow what a great place. If you are looking for a NY style deli, this is the place. The Stage or the Carnegie deli has nothing on this place. The corned beef was amazing as was the service. Definitely a small jewel.

I have been frequenting F&M since i was a small child. The food has always been wonderful, consistent, and delicious! I started going just before they relocated to the current location on Church Road. Between Felix & Maria, they made some of the best food in South Jersey at the time — and it has only gotten better over the years. As a family run delicatessen, you would expect changed, or even fluctuations in the fare offered as one of the family members decided to change the menu. Well, you do get new things added to the menu all the time, but you can always rely on the staples that make you come back. This is where I learned to love Jewish/ITALIAN REAL Food! When I moved out of state a few years back, I was distraught on the thought of not being able to get my F&M fix weekly. It was one of the biggest reasons that I would come back to the area, or even schedule business appointments in the area. I know I can get the same tasting food, quality service, and friendly smile that I loved growing up whenever I walk in the door. Miss ya Felix.

went there with 8 family members yesterday. they easily accommodated our table for an early brunch. our server got a little flustered trying to remember who ordered what and did have to fix my omelette but she did it without hesitation and a big smile on her face. the food was really good. i haven’t had bacon that well cooked in a long time. my bacon and cheese omelette was huge and tasty and i honestly wasn’t hungry for hours afterward. the décor is a bit dated but that wouldn’t keep me from coming back.

Just wanted to update. It’s been months of us going and it’s always great. Turkey sandwiches are great and we’ve also made it our brunch place.

Great deli food… however for a deli, it’s crazy expensive…$ 15 for 2 breakfast sandwiches that I could buy anywhere else for $ 4 – 5 each(some places less)! smh Waitresses are so nice but staff behind the register… can I get a smile with that $ 7 egg sandwich? The Grilled Pastrami Special sandwich(OUTOFTHISWORLD) and convenience(since I live in walking distance) is the only thing that keeps me coming back. Just a little more reasonable with some items at the deli and friendliness and this would be a 5 star! I am wedding and special events planner and I have not tried them for catering.

I just went to F&M today for lunch! I do my reviews in a different way by using a method called KISS! It’s an acronym for Klean, Introduction, Service, and Satisfaction. K– the exterior of the store was very clean, and the entrance was good and really looked presentable. I– the introduction to the place was great as well! It was a sit yourself place so no hostess, but it took about a minute for the waitress to get to us and she was super nice and friendly. She was a great representative to the place. S– the service was very good, it wasn’t too long, or too short. The waitress filled out waters when it was empty and she asked if we needed anything. The only negative was she didn’t ask if we wanted our pickles filled up. S– the overall satisfaction was great. The food was great. I had the bacon and cheddar burger and it was cooked to perfection and the cole slaw was fantastic! The only negatives was the pickles not being filled up and the price was a little high, I don’t think the price was reasonable. Great place! Gotta love the endless pickles!

A jewish deli that sells italian products and has pleasant employees? Sign me up. This place is a gem. I’ve been frequenting this place for about a year now — and I high recomend it. Any cold cut menu item is worth a try — they also have incredible hot sandwiches. Too many for me to specific. Just go there.

We visit Cherry Hill twice a year and ALWAYS plan at least one stop at F&M. The kids love their decadent breakfasts but those of us who know best go for the deli. Whenever I come here, I’m always torn between the outstanding pastrami, and the smoked fish platters. The pastrami is the real deal. Rumanian pastrami. Not too lean. Not too fatty. Properly steamed hot for your sandwich. The special is up there with the best pastrami sandwiches in the world. Perfectly balanced, too. Just enough meat to be maybe a little too much — falling off the sandwich but not so absurdly gargantuan that it was never meant for one person. But let me tell you, this place knows smoked fish. Sliced to order and out of this world, served properly in big portions with all the trimmings. The nova is as good as you’ll find anywhere, but the kippered salmon gives it a run for it’s money, and the whitefish and sable are top notch too. Decisions, decisions!

Good Stuff! I had a corned beef sandwich here and could have chewed my finger off and wouldn’t have noticed much. That’s how fast I was eating the yumminess! I also took home a container of macaroni salad which could very well be the best I’ve ever had. It’s on the sweeter side, but that’s the way I like it. The staff is super friendly too. It’s win-win at the deli!

Thanks to Unilocal,I am finally checking out a lot more of my local restaurants. Today we tried F&M Deli, based on all of the great Unilocal reviews. When we got there, we were instructed(via a sign) to seat ourselves. We picked a table — the place had plenty open — and we looked over the menu. We were greeted by a very friendly waitress, who brought our drinks and a bowl of delicious pickles. I had the Egg Salad Platter Delight. It was a bed of lettuce, served with a mound of egg salad, potato salad, and cole slaw, as well as some cucumbers, onion, and tomatoes. The cole slaw was really good — fresh and mayonnaise free. The entire meal was fresh and really good. It also came with a generous side of their home made bagel chips. My husband got some sort of brisket sandwich or something — I don’t really know what it was. I’m a vegetarian, so you’re asking the wrong person if you want to know about his meat sandwich. But he enjoyed it. As if we weren’t already pleased, the waitress then comes out with three small danish — one cherry, one cheese, and one apple cinnamon — for us to share. This was an unexpected treat, and we enjoyed them. As we left, even though we technically had dessert, I had to try something from the bakery case. I got a piece of the balaclava, which seemed like a good non-chocolate choice, as I’ve given up chocolate for Lent. The piece was pretty large, and I ate it throughout the day at home. My husband and I will definitely be returning to F&M, and I am adding it to my «Regular Lunch Spots» list. I want to try this place in the morning too, as they have a pretty extensive breakfast menu, as well as nice looking bagels.

5 — STARS for the BEST Pastrami sandwich I ever had in my life! You need to order the pastrami special. There are other good items too, but this one is their most popular sandwich, and I can see why! Food comes fairly quickly so you can get back to work from your lunch break. They close very early so it is best to come for lunch or breakfast.
