My first visit to this place and it will not be my last! The sushi was excellent! The owners walk around and are very friendly. High quality food, friendly and very clean. Also it’s BYOB!

This is the second korean bbq/sushi place that has been in this location since I’ve been living in Maple Shade. That is in no way a bad thing either. I have been coming here for a while and just got around to leaving a review. Most of my experience is with the sushi portion. The quality is top shelf and always fresh, the portions are filling, flavorful and vibrant. The main sushi chef, Andy, has grown to know that I don’t like my spicy tuna too spicy and no avacados. I feel like I am welcome and that my opinion on the meal I am eating matters. The rest of the staff is always very pleasant and Tom, the owner always greets us with a smile, and a «how have you been», again adding to the sense that I am actual welcome. Some may say that was too long winded, I say come in, try it, and judge for yourself

That was great! That was my reaction after we had dinner at Dasiwa II three days ago. This was our first time to dine here. I was told that Dasiwa II replaced another Korean BBQ at this site They have a very nice, clean and spacious location, and the staff are very friendly and responsive to their customers. We came in with a big group — a party of 12 adults and 2 small children. They easily seated us at adjoining barbecue tables which worked out great. We got to enjoy our dinner as one big family. They have a BYOB policy without any corkage. My brother brought a bottle of wine which we got to share and enjoy with our meal. That’s a big plus! My brother and his wife did all the ordering thus can’t quite recall the specifics. Nevertheless, it was a great Korean BBQ feast. The ones that I remembered were the Bulgoki, Galbi steak and the Pork belly that were grilled in the barbecue stove. We also had pot stickers and some kind of noodles. The food was awesome. Such rich flavors. The right sweetness and savoriness for each dish. Some were too spicy for my liking but I can’t take that against them. This is my brother’s and his wife’s favorite Korean BBQ restaurant here in South Jersey, and can now understand why. Great food, a very clean environment and very friendly staff makes for a great dining experience. We’re fans! We’ll be back when we visit south Jersey again.

It’s been a while since I’ve been here(traveling a lot). I’ve been missing out. I love that you can get sushi and Korean BBQ under the same roof. This place is great to go with friends and have a great dinner experience while kicking back some cold ones. I recommend ordering both BBQ and sushi. Come hungry, it’s a lot of food! Service is very attentive and if you have any questions they are happy to explain. The sides that come out before the meal are just as tasty as everything else. We had a ton of food for 3 people, and the bill after tip was still very reasonable at around 35 a head.(5 rolls, appetizer, bbq, bibimbap). They have a lunch special menu. I wish I was around during the day to take advantage!

I have to say that I’ve seen the location struggle beforehand, so I was a little hesitant. But I was in the area and I saw that it had come under a new manager and they had changed the name. It was still dead in there, so I was able to be seated immediately at the bar. I asked the sushi chef for some pointers, and he happily suggested the Aspen and Wildfire rolls, which were both very good. The restaurant is BYOB, but is is maybe 10 yards from a liquor store so drinks were readily available and wound up being cheaper. But the best part was the house specialties the chef made as an amuse bouche. The first was tuna with a bit of panko and sriracha that had been quickly seared and then a delicate flower of tuna and white tuna with a little roe that was delicious. Things like that are nice touches and I still walked away paying less than would have at some other places, even after tip. It helps build a loyal following and I think they won’t stay quiet for long even if it might cut down on my ability to sneak in last minute like I did before.
