The number #5 on the menu nearly had me in tears. Nonetheless, it was a good experience. Everything was clean, service was fast and friendly. Music was comforting. The interior of the building was warm and bright as opposed to the hidden sketchy area that it is in. Only downside is the tight small parking lot. Solid 4 stars.

This is not your typical Vietnamese phở restaurant. So don’t get disappointed when you don’t see phở on the menu! This is an authentic Vietnamese restaurant. From the menu to the cooking, it’s just like Vietnam! Everything is fresh! If you haven’t tried it, you must give it a try! I always get their Mi Huynh Ky! It’s my favorite dish! Although, all the other noodle dish are good also! Their wontons are also delicious! Not to mention, I absolutely love their egg rolls! It just gets better and better!

Selection of food here is limited but that is what makes this place thrive. Like people say quality over quantity. This is a speciality noodle shop so don’t expect a full menu of other items that are probably frozen then heated to order like most restaurants. Huynh Ky noodle dishes are all made fresh to order! I’ve seen the kitchen myself! I myself was born in America and have never tasted these authentic noodle dishes until this restaurant opened. I hear from people all the time say the dishes taste just as good and authentic as the noodle shops you’ll find in Vietnam. The broth is very rich and savory. No soy sauce needed. Have an open mind and try huynh ky for some authentic speciality noodle dishes!

How is this a Chinese restaurant and is too expensive and a very small selection of foods. They’re closing in a couple of months. Just watch. Lower the price or you’re closing

This is one of, if not the best Vietnamese restaurant that I’ve been to in Atlanta. I was here on Christmas day with my family. The food taste good, very authentic to the food that I’ve eaten when I was growing in Vietnam. The interior design was modern, nice and clean. We ordered the Mi Huynh Ky(their special noodle soup), Mi Hoanh Thanh(Wonton Noodle Soup) and Com Chay(Crispy Rice). Of all the dish, my favorite was the Crispy rice, the rice came with shredded pork, onion, and a fish sauce on top. The rice was fresh and crispy as it should be. Their fish sauce was on point though. The sauce was what made the dish so special. It really pull all the flavors together. Their noodle soup was good too. The meat came with it was fresh and not over cooked at all. The soup was good and very flavorful. On the down side, the menu was very limited. They only had about 7 – 8 items on their menu. But in my opinion their menu isn’t a negative. I’d rather they stick to what they’re good at, than having a big menu with nothing special. At the end of the meal, the chef lady came out asking us about the food. She was very friendly and professional. We will definitely come back for more food. I wish the place was closer to Gwinnett and is some where on Buford Highway.

Me and my fiancé went there 3⁄2 weeks ago and the food was great I had a seafood noodle soup. They have my business I will go back again and again I’m trying everything on the menu.

First and foremost, Huynh Ky should be addressed as a specialty noodle shop unlike that of it’s local competitors therefore, there will be a smaller selection of dishes. It’s not like the phở shop across the street, in fact phở is not on the menu! However, for the lack of menu items, Huynh Ky definitely makes it up in the taste category. The hu tieu mi with phở noodles is a great dish for first timers, the broth has a very sweet and alluring aroma and the ingredients tastes very fresh. Portioning is good as the contrast of noodles to meats and veggies ratio are well balanced. The café sua da is very strong, but it is a good strong with a good balance of sweet and bitterness. The eggrolls are delicious, and honestly one of the best eggrolls I’ve ever had at a restaurant. They are certainly not shy of how much meat and ingredients they stuff into the eggroll. Also, I have a sweet tooth and there’s a sweet pinch of flavor in the eggroll that won me over with the first bite. All in all, Huynh Ky definitely has potential for growth just as long as you approach it with an open mind. The food is fresh, tastes authentic, and very homemade!

This place is amazing!!! I’ve never been to a place where mi hoanh thanh tasted so much like the one I had in Vietnam a couple of years back. The flavor is to die for, and the customer service was amazing. Different servers checked on us occasionally and always greet us with a friendly smile. I will recommend this place to everyone!!!

Different food selection other than the average beef phở. small parking, the inside of restaurants is average not to clustered. Okay, so we got there around 2pm on a Sunday, service sucks, menu sucks. I believe there’s 3 selection of entrees however I was only limited to 1. No appetizer at the time I was there, so we left. I can’t judge the flavor of the food but honestly I will give it another chance since it’s fairly new. Hopefully I can rate it better.

The restaurant is the worst in morrow. The parking is absurd. We came and it was not busy at all. The workers and owner were all too busy chit chatting. The service is terrible. It took 30mins to get a table, and 20 mins to get our orders in. My family and I ordered our food and received water when we were almost finished. The servers never came to our tables again after we received our waters. The menu only has 2 items. Yes i said it, 2! The food is appalling. It is basically no different from the average noodles you buy from wal mart, except it tastes worse. WARNING: A small bowl of noodles is 8 $! DONOTEATHERE. GOTOVNPHOORDALOIINSTEAD!

This place is new and packed. I came here today around 12 and they only had two items on the menu left. The rest was sold out. I had their special bowl and my friend got the seafood bowl. Food came out fast even that they looked like they short in staff. The noodle was good to me. However thing that will bring me back here again would be the sate sauce they got. I love it. Definitely come back.

A brand new Vietnamese noodle shop that has just open over the railroad tracks, replacing A Chinese fast food restaurant. Nestle in the corner of the plaza, it can be a pain to get in here with limited parking. Once inside, the restaurant is a bit spacious with booths that line against the wall and tables for the lesser amount of people. I’m not sure if it is because the place is new but there isn’t any menus that was given when we sat down at the table; I did notice that there were laminated yellow sheets were passed around. The waitress spoke the 3 dishes they had that morning, Duck Noodle, the House Special noodle and Bo Kho. The duck noodle is a duck leg seasoned well with egg noodle and soup. The leg was delicious and freshly made. The house special was almost like a seafood egg noodle dish with squid and shrimp but it included pork liver. And finally the Bo Kho was a sweet taste of beef stew with carrots with egg noodle as well. I really enjoy the duck and the house special, the noodles were cooked perfectly, not too soft and not too mushy. The Bo Kho was a bit sweeter than what I’m used to so it wasn’t my favorite. The service needs a lot of improvement, there seems to be a lacking of communication between the wait staff. I waited for 40 mins for my to go of the 3 noodle dishes, and another table that had eaten, waited for awhile for their to go order as well. Finally one of the waitress came with their order and a few minutes later, the owner came out with their order as well. He seemed confused until I spoke up and notified him. This place has potential but they need to step it with their staffing. And if they do work out, move into a bigger location because the limited parking and small lot is going to be a big issue. In ending, I am glad to see another Vietnamese noodle shop that just doesn’t specializes in phở only.
