I’m not a big fan of this place. I want to say I’d rate it as a 2.5 Stars overall. I honestly think that Vietnamese food is not a favorite of mine. I was also not happy with two other locations that I have visited in the paste. I didn’t like the Spring in the Spring Rolls. I didn’t like the Lemongrass taste in the Lemongrass grilled chicken vermicelli. But not only that the chicken was very dry. I didn’t like the Vermicelli nor the rice at all, but loved the beef and onions in that accompanied the rice. Then on my third and last visit, I thought the Phở Soup(Beef) was just okay. It was very bland, even after I added all the damn springs, leaves, herbs and some pepper sauce. If I had to do it all over again I would sick with the Phở. The soup bowls are huge! Overall, like I said, I am apparently not a fan of Vietnamese food. And sadly this fact may have me a little biased in this review. But But if you are, then try this place at least once and see what you think.

I honestly just wanted phở tom(shrimp phở) on a cold wet day and when I walked in I ended up getting so much more. I ordered the shrimp rolls… It was the best decision I ever made. They were so crispy and tasty. They are filled with goodness and the sauce to accompany it is delicious to say the least. The restaurant itself is typical Viet style, no frills. But everything that was served was so fresh! The broth to my shrimp phở was robust and fragrant… You could smell it before it reached your lips. The servers are friendly and attentive. Which sometimes is lacking at these food establishments, but at this one it was on point.

Been going before Unilocal existed. Frequent like a dozen time’s a year. Broth…it doesn’t impress. Pretty sure same broth for Bun Bo Hue, which isn’t spicy. Would go again if someone wanted to go. Will highlight the Bun Bo Hue. Broth is the same as Phở, probably mixed with a special Bun Bo Hue bullion. Meat is so so. Pig’s blood isnt as soft as I like. Broth can be salty, I usually leave it behind. Noodles are firm. Sliced boiled cuts of beef. So so, nothing special. Cha Lua or Vietnamese sauage, not special either.

Nothing much to rave about. It is authentic Vietnamese food but food is not fantastic. The portion given is very filling, it will keep you full. I ordered the pork chop rice special set and spring rolls. The portion for pork chop rice is a lot however, the spring rolls look sad. Prices are quite reasonable. I will come back when I’m really hungry and craving for Vietnamese cuisine but not when I’m particular with the taste or standards. I would give it a 5⁄10.

I’ve ordered bubble tea to go many times before. Never would I have thought that my venture for dine in lunch time phở would have me waiting for a parking spot to open followed by a like out the door! My throat is is desperate need of soothing and I hope it’s worth the wait!

My favorite Phở place in town. I first tried the one on BuHwy, I like this one even better, not sure why. Surprisingly this one seems to be busier than the BuHi one too.

We’ve been going to this place for years. Great food, better than most other Phở places I’ve been too, great price, and great service. They re-fill your water without you having to ask(that is a service that typically happens in finer restaurants which is one thing I like).

Fantastic broth. Great takeout, quick service. Next time i will ask for the large(she didn’t ask when I ordered) I need more meat. Glad i found a good location on this side of town. The phở with meatballs, flank steak and regular steak was fantastic. I also got the non-fried roll with shrimp and pork plus a strawberry bubble tea. Great find.

Simply put this is the best Vietnamese restaurant in Atlanta! I have eaten here no less than 30 times and each time it is been superb. Everything is always fresh and the wait staff is great. If you see a line at the door don’t let the crowd scare you off it is worth the wait. The prices are very good too. If you’re looking for authentic Vietnamese dining this is the place to go!

Exactly what I want when I need phở. Fast service, and delicious phở! I’m pescetarian so I always get the shrimp phở. They also have one without meat for any full vegetarians/vegans. Absolutely delicious phở and very reasonably priced! They have a wide selection of other items too.

I ordered a medium bowl of phở(which was HUGE), shrimp & pork parcel as an appetiser and a Thai tea. The soup was pretty good, not too sweet like it can be sometimes, got a very large serving with decent amounts of meat and noodles, couldn’t even finish it! The appetiser was absolutely delicious, I recommend trying it, not something you can get everywhere. The Thai tea was exactly what you expect :)

When you walk in, and it’s mostly Asians, you know it’s going to be good. The phở was perfect for the cold rainy day. The first bite took me right back to the Hanoi street stalls.

I ordered the vegetarian bowl which had tofu in it! Reasonably priced so that was a plus. This place received four stars because of the service. Once our waitress took our order then she disappeared. When we asking another lady that was standing around about ordering a bubble tea she had a bit of an attitude. I’m pretty sure they split tips around here so I didn’t understand why that was a problem

This restaurant has good service, good ambience, and yummy and affordable food! I’ve gotten the bun thit nuong, bun bo hue, phở tai + bo vien + sach, goi cuon, and the drip coffee. Love the bun thit nuong because the meat, veggie, and noodle ratio is just right. Some places put too little vegs with too much noodle, but this place has it right. The meat is a little sweet for my taste, but when eaten with the vegs, it mellows out. The eggroll was good too! Bun bo hue has a lot of lemongrass and the broth is super flavorful! One of the better bun bo hue’s that I’ve had. The phở is good. and you can’t go wrong with goi cuon. Drip coffee was also nice and strong. Prices are great, food is great, the servers are very attentive, and the restaurant is clean. The next time I’m in Atlanta, I will come back for sure!

One of my favorite places to go for phở. Ocassionally, i would order phở, so this time I ordered com tam thit nuong. Boy did they packed my plate with loads of rice and meat. It took me two days to eat all of this. The food was pretty good. I would have to come here again.

Vietnamese food so good the natives come too. Great food, served quick for a good price. I enjoy phở in the winter and noodles in the summer. Try to get here once a week, but it does not always happen.

Okay, with all these great reviews, many from Unilocal buddies I decided to finally check Phở Dai Loi and see what the big rave is. At first I did not know what to expect, as I was walking through their doors and after a few minutes I was greeted, apparently someone did not see me sit down right away. The lady who greeted me was very friendly and passed me a menu, within two minutes my waitress approached the table and suggested Com Tam Bi Cha Suon Nuong Trung Ga. This is served with shredded roast pork, grilled pork chop and a steamed omelet with sunny side-up eggs, all on top of a mountain of broken jasmine rice. I also had one of their boba teas, as almost everyone makes them differently, I had to try one and it turned out to be really good. Of course, till this day, I have yet to find one better than what I found in Asia. The service was excellent. Within 2 minutes, my Gi cun(Spring Rolls) came to the table and before I finished my spring rolls, my entrée was delivered, all of the food came out very fast. I usually always eat up the street at VN Phở and although they have a better interior than this place, I do admit, the food is blander. Phở Dai Loi has more flavor in their dishes. I’ll definitely have to try their Phở Tái Gân. On this experience, I’d give this place a solid four stars based off food and service. I’ll be back. [Review #214]
