Five stars first for helping me save my phone! It slipped out of my pocket on a pier and was lodged just under it by the water. Thank you guys for the string and ruler! On top of the service the coffee and pastries are wonderful. Get a trinket or shirt too. Love coming here every time we are in town.

The cookies were hard and not so tasty, but the cappuccino I had was surprisingly decent; not one of the best coffees I’ve ever had, but it was good. My fiancé had a brownie and a cupcake, both of which he loved. The brownie looked good.

I don’t recommend coming here for coffee. My vanilla latte tasted like milk flavored coffee. My boyfriend got a mocha, which was pretty decent but not one of the best. You’re better off going to Starbucks. I also got a snickerdoodle cookie. Again, nothing special and tasted like something I can get from a box. My boyfriend loved his Crispie(some baked pie crust with sugar and cinnamon) and this was certainly the best part of our purchase. Our orders also took 10 – 15 min even though there was no one in front of us.

Gotta love… Everything. Can’t name one bad thing there. Great quality, and service. Easy in and out. They know their product and if you can’t figure out what to get, they are always willing to help you satisfy that sweet tooth.

I will continue to go here as its a fun, small place to meet friends, have coffee, get some pastries or ice cream:) My favs are the popovers, cupcakes, hot cocoa, dog treats for my baby. Come enjoy!

THEBESTBROWNIEOFMYLIFE!!! I don’t know the actual hours here but I luved finding it. I know when I came across this place so late in MB standards which was post 10. The manager was AMAZING. Me and My Mom both ordered brownines as we lamented our horrible hotel… As the younger man packaged up our brownies the older scooped a cup of vanilla for my mom. The cold scoop was a delight. I want to go back with My dog and and higher exceptions…

Well it was after lunch, after a stroll down the embarcadero, and of course! ice Cream! A smooth little cup of rocky road and a cookie! Well YUM. The rocky road was smooth and creamy and the cookie — chocolate chip of course — was just right. Thanks for baking and I will be back to sample more. I do appreciate the baked doggie treats too! Thanks for being a wonderful part of the embarcadero. Yum!

We came here after two hours of kayaking, so we were hungry! We ordered a sprinkled brownie to share and a chocolate dipped peanut butter cookie, two 2% milks and one cup of soy milk,(which we were delighted to find. They also have all kinds of other pastries, and hand-dipped ice cream. It’s a little pricey: $ 3.95 for one scoop of ice cream, for example. Everything is clearly price marked, though, so there are no surprises. The brownies was scrumptious! Soft & chewy, and very chocolatey! The cookie was a little bit dry, but tasty. Friends who had the dipped marshmallows raved about those. Service was very friendly and willing to go the extra mile, warming brownies and getting soy milk. We liked that. I don’t mind the splurging on calories or cash since we only come here once a year. Like a lot if things in a vacation town, you expect to pay more.

Perfect little stop for an americano and a cookie. Countless sweet treats — cookies, chocolate covered pretzels(.90), baklava, cupcakes, custom cakes and the list gives on. They even do breakfast wraps, sammies and ice cream. This place is happiness encompassed. Super kid friendly. Come here for all the treats!

A quirky little place in Morro Bay that we’ve been coming to for over 10 years. They used to have these weird cookie jars for sale, but they’ve since gone by the wayside. Still, with an interior gas firepit, surrounded by bamboo shoots, you’ve gotta love the uniqueness here. Usually, we’ll get some cookies, ice cream, hot chocolate, and coffee. The staff is generally very cool and accommodating. Our daughter has allergies, and the staff had no problems changing out ice cream scoops with clean ones.

There isn’t much in Morro Bay beyond the Embarcadero but all the places we went to here were FAB! We had an early start the morning we left and we came here for some coffee and breakfast. Good coffee. I Shared a fresh macaroon with my fiancé and then tried a freshly baked strawberry and cream cheese popover. Almost drooling thinking of it now — it was a v v good start to the day.

An after dinner Sweet and there’s notice open after 6pm. They know this and and are smart they stay open later. The Man and I did not expect to see a well stocked bakery at 6pm! We were pleasantly surprised. It was a difficult decision what yo get. We opted for the croissants. Yumm strawberry and cream cheese mine The choco raspberry. It satisfied my chocolate craving! We also grabbed a couple cookies and as others mentioned are very good. We didn’t get coffee or tea I saw the«Farmers» brand coffee pot and maker and opted to skip coffee. I should have asked if that was what they used. But thinking the kid working probably didn’t have a clue although I may have underestimated him. My bad. Anyway nxt time we will try the coffee to find out how it is. It was also surprisingly clean and the kid working was diligently cleaning. Don’t let the limited # of reviews and exterior of the bakery keep you away. A kinda kitschy little thing is the gas fire on the middle more reminiscent of a ski lodge but the children inside we’re loving it!!!

At eight in the morning, waiting for a whale-watching boat, there’s not a lot open in the way of tasty breakfasts. Fortunately, Suns and Buns knows this, and they remedy it in the best way possible! This locally owned gem offers the best sandwiches, pastries, and wraps in the area. Their white chocolate raspberry scone was luxurious to the point of divinity, and the apple jacks and cherry bombs are perfect for the pie fan on the go! Added bonus: they’re dog-friendly, offering four different flavors of treats for your four-legged family members. They’ll even suggest treats based on your dog’s metabolism and age(those of you with older dogs may wish to buy the cheese one, since it’s their softest and easiest on old teeth!)

One of my MUSTSTOPAT places in Morro Bay is this beautiful little bakery. I have been coming here for at least the past 10 years and every time they do not disappoint. I remember when I was young, my family would walk in and clear them of their chocolate chunk cookies because, well, they’re the best things in this place. Ok, so they do have other cookies and pastry goodies that are equally special. My parents always come in for the cinnamon rolls or the eclairs. The other sugar cookies are quite delicious as well. Now they started serving dog treats. During the summer it’s a great place to get ice cream. You can hang out inside or you can just pick up your treat and keep on walking down the street. It’s cheap, it’s fun and it’s delicious. Need anyone say more?

What a find in a town in an area that is filled with touristy places, yet you have Suns-N-Buns Bakery & Espresso Bar-so close to our inn too and no wonder the line is enormous year round, because this is the go to place for the best. Their coffees & beverages are quite good too, the water here in Morro Bay is so clean, not like Long Beach with all of that chlorine, this is spring water taste infusing components for a good cup of Java. Back again & again for more dessert & pastries this evening, and dessert pastries for tomorrow; yes this place is that good, & they’re worth every penny, stop in here! That’s what Marty & I kept doing while here last November, so irresistible, the flakey crust of homemade pastries, filled with all natural fruit & ingredients had our palates awakened with a WOW with every bite, day & night! Customer service is great, so many choices made from scratch, and the prices are very reasonable-Gear Claws & Raspberry filled Croissants were the top winners, but we bought 2 dozen assorted pastries before heading home too. They stay fresh all day long too because of the humidor type of bakery cases they use-Clever! When you are in Morro Bay, plan & simple, stop in! Now, they do close at 9 P.M., but we got in once even when they were closed, the girl at the counter & manager know how to treat their customers, they let us in for an emergency fix! I mean Unilocalers, here in Morro Bay, about Marty’s & my new addiction and Suns-N-Buns:
