Justin’s Barber Shop

Hard to believe the 4 star ratings. First, this is the dirtiest barber shop I have ever been in. Not just hair from other customers all around, the floor looks like it hasn’t been mopped since it was installed. The chairs in the lobby are ripped. The mats under several of the barbers are ripped. On top of this, the barber on tonight has been cutting hair all of 5 months. I really needed a cut and my barber for years suddenly closed. So I left it long so that I can make an appointment somewhere with skilled barbers to finish. At 18 dollars, this is not the most expensive shop but clearly not the cheapest. But the 10 – 12 dollar shops are cleaner and have at least 2 – 3 barbers per shift who know what they are doing. Overall, I went in hoping I would be pleasantly surprised. Left being more disappointed than I could have expected. 4 stars? Try negative one.

Stopped in tonight without an appointment and only waited about 10 minutes but I know I got lucky. Barber shops are busy so an appointment is always recommended. Dean did an awesome job and my fade came out exactly how I wanted. He even made a couple suggestions that I went ahead with. Communication is key. The shop had a pretty chill atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back, but next time with an appointment.

No wait, the barber was pleasant, and accommodating. Good touch using the straight razor and hot shave cream on neck and sideburns, very old school. Perfect combination of modern (appointment scheduling with app) convenience and old school service. Highly recommended. I’ve already scheduled next month’s visit.

Funny how you can judge the professionalism of a business without even walking through the door. Just called to see if there was anyone available for a walk in appointment and would have thought I just asked for the gentleman’s first born. He was rude and condescending. No respect for the customer!

Very expensive for an adult or kid haircut. So many other place around that are more professional and less expensive. Very hood.

Great professional shop for all hair types. Clean and well managed. I previously drove to more urban areas for my son to have the latest cut. Save your gas and the long lines and come here. They are up to date and again. do all types of hair, black, white Asian etc. The front desk attendant is friendly and all the barbers are professional. Open comfortable clean space to wait if you even need to. Nigel is our favorite but I’m sure the other barbers do a great job as well. Just GO!

I love this barbershop. It seems to be dedicated to cutting mens hair, although they do offer other services for women. Most of the clientele is men and boys.
The barbers are very friendly and the guy who works at the front desk is really courteous. I have had my hair cut by two barbers over the last few months and each of them is great. The barbers are all very young, probably around early 20s, but you can tell that they all really like what they do and that they are well trained.
I love that this shop opened up so close to my house and is conveniently located on route 9. You can also book your appointments online. One thing to note is that they only accept cash. There is an ATM located inside the shop.
I highly recommend this place because they do a great job and run a nice business.
