Price increased between reservation and arrival. Insisted on keeping credit card information insecurely. When questioned about this practice became surly and denied reservation. When leaving«Mike». the manager, cursed at my wife and called her a «B». The experience was one of the most astonishingly poor experiences possible at a hotel.

The front desk people were very nice, hotel was clean. However, one of the front desk employees parked his Harley sideways in a handicap space. His buddy also parked his BMW in a handicap space while he cleaned it. Those handicap spaces are there for a reason. 2 stars just for this!

There was no hot water for shower. Also lock didn’t work on exterior door so it was propped open at night

Would not recommend. Unfortunately we had no choice because we were traveling with our pet and there were no other«pet friendly» options. Room smelled musty, décor was atrocious, beds uncomfortable(woke up with a stiff back), desk clerk that worked yesterday and checked us in was MIA any never behind the desk when I needed extra blankets or had a question. I tried calling from my room but the phone just rang and rang. The blanket and comforter were very thin and even with two extra blankets(they would only give us one extra per bed) we froze! If you have allergies stay away, if mustard yellow, olive green, or burnt orange décor offend you, stay away. There is no pool, no fitness room. Stay at the holiday inn next door!

Just OK, but acceptable for the price. We recently stayed here while touring West Virginia University and found that it was just«ok». When I review a hotel, I do so in relation to the amount paid, so I have set the proper expectations. This was a low cost option, so I didn’t expect it to be a 4 star hotel. It gets 3 stars only because it was an inexpensive hotel The GOOD: It was in a fairly new area with other hotels, shopping areas and right across the street from restaurants. The room seemed relatively clean and comfortable. For a single night stay I thought it was worth it. The BAD: Our room location was on the first floor near the lobby, so it was pretty noisy with the ice maker and lobby traffic nearby. Also the parking lot right outside the window was noisy from pickup trucks. It seemed like there were a lot of construction workers staying there. We didn’t even see the continental breakfast in the morning because the eating area was full of about 30 – 40 construction workers taking up the whole area watching a training video. Towels were rough and bathroom sink didn’t drain. It is not really near the University, but about a 10 minute drive away. Normally, I might have given this 2 stars, but I’m not going to judge the entire hotel based on a bad room location, so I will give them the benefit of the doubt. I might stay there again, but I would definitely change room location.

This is what we get for booking a room for a football weekend one month beforehand. It wasn’t the worst room I have ever stayed in, but it definitely was far from the best. There was a giant hole in the screen in our window, the smoke detector was missing, and the sheets were not so fresh. The only saving grace was the wonderful waffle that I got to make in the morning to go with the mediocre coffee.

Nice clean rooms very friendly staff. We’ve stayed at hotels all over the country, it’s not the Hilton but for the money it’s a great room. And great places to eat in walking distance.

Look elsewhere. There are plenty of options in the area for a decent rate with a decent room. The owner and managment at this hotel are below standard and need to learn how to provide customer service the right way.

This is a no frills joint, but does the job. The front desk staff was friendly and the bed was, I’m not even joking, one of the comfiest beds ever. in fact, when I bought a new mattress for myself, I bought the same type of mattress. I don’t regret it! But this hotel offers no amenities other than a bed, internet, and a parking lot. I even felt that the TV offerings were somewhat limited.
