I got the cheesesteak combo for $ 9.95. The fries are just okay and cheese steak is just par for the course. The meal was definitely forgettable and I would not order it again. I will need to try their pizza next time as the slices are big.

Whoa! The 24inch was HUGE! Loved the pizza from the first bite. It was crispy and cheesy and the sauce was good. Reminded me of my childhood when I used to go and buy a slice for a buck in NYC! This is the first place I’ve found that tastes like that and I’m from Jersey/Nyc. Bottom of the pizza did get soft by the time I went for my second slice but loved the cheese and the ham was great! They put big pieces of ham and it had a great flavor unlike most pizzerias.

Delicious pizza. We had the 24inch pie. Its a bit pricey but do you ever get a whole lot of pizza. Great sauce and crust. Reminds me of hometown NYC pizza. Would recommend to anyone in the mood for some great pizza.

Not great but not bad. For some reason the Huntersville location is much better food wise. The staff in Mooresville is friendly but the pizza is just OK.

Good food… service is not so good from some. But always great from Bobby. He actually fixes any problem(as we have only had 2, but he has fixed). We eat in some and order out some. Menu changed amd when my family and i asked questions, they were less than patient in explaining the difference in their items. Still enjoy their food, just not the customer service.

As an Italian from Long Island, NY I have to say this pizza is pretty good. The flavor is definitely one of the best around, just wish it was less crispy and thin. I like being able to enjoy a good crust and the pizza is just a bit too thin to really have a good crust. It’s also a little crispy, when you bend it to eat it, it should bend easy not crack. But the flavor is really good. The knots were OK, a touch on the dry side.

First time and dined in. Excellent NY style pizza. Fast and friendly service with the only negative being they don’t serve Coke, only«P-water«.

Thank God I found Tony’s! I am from NY and I was about at wits end trying to find some decent pizza! Brooklyn Boys, Sabastiano’s, you name a place, I’ve tried it and disliked them all until I found Tony’s. Pizza’s are large, thin and crispy. The only recommendation I would have is to throw a few more toppings on top! But, the quality and good prices is there. No need to get a pie anywhere else if you like NY style pizza!

I’ve always enjoyed Tony’s Pizza until this past Saturday. We usually drive out of our way, order it to go and then drive back home 20 min. This was always the best /closest pizza place to us. We have never been disappointed however, when we ordered our large cheese pie on Saturday and opened the box when we got home, we were surprised by the crap that we paid for. The pizza was pale, very pale, and oval. The crust was really flat, with no flavor or chew. It was like eating cardboard with some sauce and cheese. There was way too much flour or something. This was nothing like we’ve gotten in the past. And we’ve ordered our pizza here frequently. Whoever, the pizza maker and the person who sold that crap on Saturday night should be fired. I personally don’t understand how you can sell something like that. Don’t you care about your customers at all? I would be so embarrassed if I were the business owner. I wonder how many other orders were sent out looking like that.

I really want to give Tony’s Pizza a 5 and if my review was based solely on their NY Style Pizza slices they would have it. This is the truest incarnation of a NY slice that I’ve encountered south of the Mason-Dixon Line. Thank you. They lose one star, and it would only be a quarter star if that was an option, for cleanliness. It’s tough to stay on top of with the high throughput they achieve but it would nice to be able to sit at clean tables and booths.

Its giant greasy pizza, New York style. This location is clean, theres tv’s to watch and the lunch specials are pretty good. I like how quick I could stop for some pizza on my lunch break and not have it cost me an arm and a leg. I’ll be back.

Pizza is pretty good, once it cools off a bit. Every time I have eaten there, I have to wait at least 5 minutes to eat because the cheesr is literally boiling when they serve it. Service has gone down hill, they recently hired a cashier who literally never smiles. They sell pizza by the slice, but don’t expect to go in and just grab a slice, because they never have it ready. Today, I had to wait 20 minutes for one slice, and when I went to ask, I noticed they were only putting half pizzas in the oven at a time, even though several people where waitng. Poorly managed IMO.

Tony’s is the best. The closest you will get to New York Pizza.

Another New Yorker here and I am so happy to find Tony’s. Not only is it the best I’ve had outside of the five buroughs but being able to sit down with a beer and a slice made me homesick. Thanks to the other review so I don’t have to try BB and the others. I wouldn’t change the recipe though — I never liked sugar in the sauce or gravy and you should be able to put fresh basil or extra oregano on by request. So, hey, I’m happy here. Good job!

I was born in NY, Queens to be exact, so I know the best pizza in the world(it can be argued – but to me there will never be any better pizza than NY’s) and Tony’s pizza is the closest you will in Mooresville to NY style pizza. Great pizza!

I have to say this place is so awesome, I kept going back all week while we were in town. Their pizza’s are huge and they really do taste like a NY pizza, this is coming from a NY’er. They are not cheap on their toppings either, if you want toppings, they load you up, my favorite though was just the plain cheese, so yummy. The staff there was actually very nice each time we went, its clean and again, the pizza tastes so good. Reading the 1 star review below, I am actually very surprised by what they had to say. The guy who served us was Mexican so I can’t see how they felt like they were treated different. I went in after a long day of boating; I looked like crap and I was still treated kindly. I ordered a small drink and I think the size of the cup was just fine, same size as any place like Subway would offer. In fact, the three people that came with me weren’t buying drinks and they still gave us water cups without asking. I wish I could go back, I miss that place and wished we had a good place like this where we are stationed.

We like Tony’s. Every Friday we eat pizza and Tony’s is one of my favorite places to get it from. It is very reasonably priced and very tasty. We take it to go and have never had an issue with it not still being fresh and hot by the time we eat it. I am seriously giddy when a «deal» comes up $ 20 for $ 10 and I always buy 2.

Over the years Tony’s chicken philly has become a staple in my fast food diet. Good bread, tasty chicken chopped up into the correct size pieces for a philly, and the right amount of toppings make this sandwich a winner. The pizza is always good too.
