This is my favorite sushi place! I was obsessed with the Cornelius location but now love the Mooresville one equally. The tornado and Show me the Love rolls are amazing and fresh. The grilled calamari is so unique and spicy — love it! I usually also get their appletinis. They’re not like your usual Appletini — not too sweet or Apple-y. Can’t say enough good things.

I ordered it as take-out. I had seen the menu and pricing online, which was all off. I ordered what should have been $ 11 worth of food, was told it was almost $ 16. I changed my order to 1 yellowtail roll and it came down to $ 7.48(which is excessively high). When I got it, there were only 6 pieces and they looked like the loneliest sushi on the planet alone in one corner of the takeout tray. It was the smallest portion of sushi I’d ever seen. When I took the lid off, the old fish smell immediately hit me. It looked horrible as well, there was only a little color to the fish(it was white) and there were other things in the roll besides the tuna. It looked mushy like it came from a can. On top of it I’ve been tasting it ever since and not sure if I’ll keep it down. So, small portions, horrible looking fish, smells like old fish, and overpriced, I’d say avoid at all cost. Seriously just run away. Joel’s is down the street and probably a safer bet. But just don’t go here.

Awesome! I’m used to eating sushi in SoCal, but my husband has been going to Sushi at the Lake and Too for several years. I finally got to go and it lived up to expectations! Tornado roll, avocado panko, smoked salmon sashimi, and the grilled calamari steak were all great! The chefs and wait staff are very friendly and attentive. Fantastic! Can’t wait to go back for the SOD roll!

Hubs and I had lunch here recently. We both had bento boxes. One of the rolls that hubs ordered — surf and turf roll — had an «off» taste. He didn’t eat it. The salmon nigiri was a little dry and tough, as was the salmon in the sashimi trio appetizer. When I bite into a piece of raw fish, I don’t like feeling anything stringy between my teeth. The salmon had that kind of texture. I ordered steamed gyoza but got fried ones instead. Our server apologized for the mix-up(didnt offer to correct the order, tho) and shrugged when I commented on the«off» taste. She added that it was one of their most popular dishes. It’s the typical thing restaurant servers say when you tell them something doesn’t taste quite right to you, like everyone liked it so you should too. Otherwise service was prompt. The music was a little loud for us and the atmosphere seemed more like a bar than a sushi restaurant. This was before noon on a weekday. It just wasn’t a relaxing lunch for us and the sushi was disappointing and mediocre. It was our first time and most likely our only time. There are so many more likely better sushi places in town we can try.

absolutely love this place. it was where my boyfriend took me for our first date and it was so yummy. we have been back several times since and every time we get great service and very good sushi. only downside would be the prices are a little high but nothing crazy. definitely worth checking out!

Excellent food and service eveytime! The specialty rolls are amazing! Charlie roll happens to be my favorite but everything we’ve tried has been super yummy. Jay and Rucie behind the sushi bar are very friendly and even entertain their younger(7 yr olds) customers. Overall prices may seem high to some but the quality you are getting is so worth the money! If you haven’t tried it yet, give it a try. You won’t regret it!

I’ve been here a couple of times and the sushi is great. if you want the speciality rolls they are a little more pricy, but they are worth it. its always cold in there though so wear something warm

oh my god I wish I would have known about this place 5 weeks ago when I first got here for work. This place has the best food I’ve ate in the mooresville, LKN area. Quality ingredients excellent presentation and the wait staff is amazing!

The service was horrible. Way overpriced. Will not be going back. Too many other superior sushi restaurants around.

They just opened 9 days ago but seem to have everything in order. Good sushi and Japanese cuisine. Nice to see managers working proactively.
