Went there for breakfast this morning(Monday) at 6:45 am and I was the only customer. The place is easy to find, just off 77. The service was ok, they had nobody else to take care off I had a Californian scramble with eggs, avocado, potatoes and salsa. The eggs and avocado were great, but the potatoes were horrible, fat and almost smashed like mash potato. I have no idea how you can prepare them in such a bad way. Next time I’ll try Denny’s on the other side of the Freeway

Came to Mooresville IHOP after seeing Statesville IHOP was very busy. Both my husband and I were craving pancakes for lunch so we felt like we had to go to an IHOP. The Mooresville IHOP was not nearly as busy and was only half full, which is surprising during lunch hour on a Saturday! Anyway, we were seated quickly. The major complaint I have was our server. She was a middle aged woman with faded black knit pants who looked like she literally rolled out of bed in her work clothes to come to work. She had an odor(pet and cigarettes odor?) on her and she was overall unkempt and dirty. I was very nervous with this lady handling my food. I ordered water to drink and there were crumbs and debris in the water. I didn’t ask for more because I am not the type to complain at restaurants. Food was mediocre. I didn’t eat much of my food due to this server handling it. It was questionable if she regularly washed her hands. I don’t know her name because she didn’t introduce herself. She simply came to the table and asked, «what do you want to drink» without any introduction. When it came time to order food it was«what do you want?» That was about the extent of the conversation and introduction. Next time I think we will go to Cracker Barrel or drive over to Winks BBQ in Salisbury for their plate sized pancakes!

We were in the mood for breakfast for dinner. Guess what you cannot find in Mooresville after 2p at a local place? You guessed it! We drove to several restaurants that said they had breakfast and were still open – but not serving that, or closed and I was about ready to drizzle syrup on my husband and eat his hand, I was so hungry! UGH! So we chose the big, bad chain and guess what… it was delightful! Seated right away in a booth after being asking if we had a preference… bonus points for that! Brought coffee right away with more than two little creamers… bonus points! It was hot and fresh and left a pot at the table so my husband could refill as desired… more bonus points there! Our server let us know what specials were available right now and was knowledgeable about the options. We already had what we wanted in mind and placed our orders after hearing about the new options on the menu(which did actually sound pretty good!) The food came out correct and she brought both real butter and sugar free syrup and we enjoyed our meal tremendously! While I generally am not a fan of huge chains that anyone knows who they are and what they serve and are dotted in cookie cutter fashion across the country… but I really felt like I was in a small town diner with the quality of food, service and even the price! We will absolutely return again when the siren song of breakfast calls after 2p!

I’m being extremely generous with the stars. Clean establishment, very nice wait staff that was extremely helpful and wanted to make sure all the guests were comfortable. Let’s get on the food, I had black coffee which unless your pouring pounds of sugar in it was terrible. The brioche banana french toast at first bite the sauce tasted generic but as I ate more it mellowed out and was alright but does not compare to café 100 in Huntersville. The bacon was standard fare, my over medium eggs were cooked to order but did not have an essence of grease so it was a little dry. We had also ordered off the kids menu, everything was in order but the scrambled eggs are awful. Sent em back and the same type manifested themselves on my sons plate again. This all comes down to large chains and overall cost effectiveness. Most instances lately the larger the chain the worse the food. Waffle house is a large chain where everything is cheap and cooked to order but even with them u have to send it back every now and then. I probably have a large quantity of saliva content added to my dishes because of all the food I send back but at least it tastes good going down Took the kids meal off the check so they made a effort to correct the food Happy Thanksgiving

IHOP, as with any chain restaurant, presents what we’ve all come to expect from a chain establishment. The same thing every time at every location. For me it’s like the go-to for comfort food. Basically, when I’m having a fat day it’s the place to be. Yes I know it’s the International House of PANCAKES. And while they make them delectable I actually much prefer the many other meal options on their menu. Most people don’t realize it but they’ve got meals for anytime of day. Don’t feel like breakfast anytime of day? Fine, they have some excellent loaded potato soup and pot roast sandwiches. Mmm it makes my mouth water now. Of course for breakfast they’ve got all the standards including some seriously done-up omelets loaded with steak, veggies, sour cream, salsa, you name it. The coffee and tea are always hot. Hot chocolate is an option. Pancake toppings plentiful. And the staff is reliably helpful.

No wait for brunch on a Sunday! Don’t be dismayed by the line out the door… It moves pretty fast! My husband and son had pancakes & French toast while I opted for eggs and bacon. Everything was served quickly & tasted great! The server was friendly and the restaurant was clean. If you’re hungry for lots of breakfast food, stop by. The atmosphere isn’t anything special but hey… It’s an IHOP! What did you expect?!

Don’t get French toast here or at least not on Sunday evenings. It’s raw or doughy :( I ordered the Split Decision and my links and bacon were cold and my french toast doughy/soggy/raw so when the manager asked how I was doing I told him my ordeal. The food came out again my links and bacon nice and hot, but french toast still the same. I wasnt the only one with a food complaint, I over heard about 2 others while i was there. Then to make matters worse I saw him take other peoples complaints off their check except all i got was my $ 2 coffee taken off booooooo Not goin back again

We went for breakfast on Feb. 5, Free Pancake Day. When we pulled up, I thought we might have to wait to be seated because the parking lot appeared full. But we were seated almost immediately and I was surprised to see that the place was almost empty. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. She suggested the free pancakes to us before we even asked.(Which I thought was nice because I’ve eaten at places where wait staff seems to be trained to push high priced menu items.) Drink orders were taken and drinks brought out immediately. My tea was fine but my companion said his coffee tasted burnt., He asked for a replacement and was given one immediately. He said that cup tasted burnt too. *shrug* Breakfast was tasty. Nothing fancy and that’s what I expected. I ordered scrambled eggs, hash browns, toast, and(pork) bacon. My companion had the same. Thankfully our(free) pancakes were fully-cooked. ;-) I would return to this IHOP.

Typical IHOP but I will not visit again. The wait staff let a mother change a baby’s diaper in the booth across from me. They even came by to admire the baby and serve food while the baby used diaper stunk up the place. Disgusting!!! Never again!!!

Danielle was extremely friendly server, great communicator, very engaging to us as well as other customers, takes her job very serious all while her demeanor is relaxed and laid back. It’s team members like Danielle that allows an establishment to build a great reputation! Our food tasted great, as well as the location was very clean and inviting!

Food has always been good, but a little high for the portions you get. Very family style place.

I am such a sucker for breakfast food; therefore, I was so excited when this IHOP opened! On a Sunday morning around 9:30AM, we were fearful that we’d have to wait, because the parking lot was packed & inside lots of people. Luckily, we walked right in & were seated at a booth. We were immediately greeted by our waitress, Sarah, who was very cheerful & friendly. Because we’re IHOP pros, we were able to place our drink & food order right then & there. Sarah wasted no time bringing out my coffee & my boyfriend’s water & apple juice. Woot, woot for piping hot coffee! In less than 10 minutes, our food arrived — my breakfast sampler with two scrambled eggs, four pieces of bacon, two sausage links, hash browns &2 pancakes.(I don’t play around when it comes to breakfast food!) My boyfriend had the strawberry stuffed french toast, two scrambled eggs, two pieces of turkey bacon & hash browns. The presentation on both our plates was«commercial worthy!» The food tasted as good as it looked. Temperature wise & texture wise was perfect. Additional pluses: Clean, minimal noise level, quick to take away dirty /used plates, silverware, quick on beverage refills, quick to bring the bill. The menu for IHOP is extensive & the prices are so reasonable. They now have slim & fit offerings for those watching their calorie intake.
