Woodbury Mt Toys

Great toy selection, a little pricey but worth it… and pretty rude staff on the day I was there. I had my hand practically slapped for using a toy incorrectly. Please hire friendlier people.

I really wanted to like this store, but had such an uncomfortable exchange with an employee (I should have asked to speak with the owner!) that I just won’t be returning.

I love this store. The staff is very friendly and helpful and I can find toys that interest my 12 year old son (which is hard to do). The only reason I did not give this place 5 stars is because when I walked to the back to buy some baby toys– I couldn’t get back there! There were actually 2 mothers on the floor with their babies. Their infants were actually laying on the carpet playing with toys which made it impossible to get back there and look around. That was one of the weirdest things I have ever seen in a store.

Woodbury toys had the charm of childhood at every turn. I go in knowing I need a gift and always leaving with the perfect gift, whether a just because for my son or a birthday gift for another child. The place is great for finding cool and interesting toys, etc. for making gift boxes or bags. Trinkets, playmobil, planets, dress up and puppetts. The prices are fair and in some cases better tha. Amazon or chains. I actually have bought almost every single toy i have ever bought at this store. They have a few 20 percent off sales a year but otherwise you don’t have to worry that something you just bought at full price will be 75 percent off next week. Whatever my budget I can take my son in there and leave with things he is happy to have even if it’s a handful of 10 cent trinkets or an Addison to his playmobil. The staff are great. If I don’t have time to browse they know their inventory so well that they don’t even pause to think. If I have a vague idea of what I want they usually offer up price ranges of what I am looking for, for example– the expensive planet set or a cheap one. They also let you browse and don’t make me feel followed when I just want to browse. The staff act like they want to be there. I have gone to chain stores and staff do not even know popular items or make a big production over locating them. This is the biggest reason why I have made a point of shopping at Woodbury. This place is a gem!

Jammed packed with a wonderful selection of… everything. A very fun store. Staff was really helpful.

Nice toy store with a big selection and really helpful staff. The place is a bit cramped making it hard to negotiate with a stroller or multiple kids. Prices are higher than chain stores but quality is better,

Ahh, what a nice place. I live in Boston, my family, with many nieces and nephews live in central Vermont. So, over the years, Woodbury Mt. Toys has become the source for almost everything these kids want. Hobby horse? Check! Kid’s tee-​pee? Check! Toy train, dinosaurs, microscope, and princess’ cornet? Check! Gyroscope, finger paints, model horses, and Native American headdress? Check!
Friendly, reasonably priced, refreshingly unplugged products. Sorry, no wood burning kits or ant farms.
