My husband and I created a wedding registry through Capital Kitchen, and it was a wonderful experience! Multiple people have told us how helpful the staff was when they called to order items, and everything arrived beautifully wrapped. And the products themselves are functional and delightful! We’ve visited the store too, on a trip to Montpelier, and it is so lovely! I like going in there knowing that all their products have been researched and tested. The combination of adorableness and super functionality makes this place the tops.

I had assumed that Montpelier’s downtown kitchen supply store would carry only the finest items. I was instead surprised by the preponderance of plastic that this place presented. Capitol Kitchens carries gadgets superior to what you’d find in a dollar store, but below the quality that you see in Ikea. Guess I’ll go find my gear someplace else.

The cutest and coolest stuff in my kitchen is from this store. They always have tools, gadgets that I don’t want shoved in a drawer but want to actually display.

Capital Kitchen is one of the retail gems of Montpelier. From the display window, which is one of the more inviting in town, to the back corner of the store, Capital Kitchen displays its kitchen and culinary merchandise in an almost artistic fashion. Whether you are a novice in the kitchen or a culinary master looking for a half hour slot on the Food Network, you will find an impressive array of quality kitchen wares. The owners and staff are incredibly knowledgeable about all things kitchen and and are some of the most helpful and friendly people in all of retail.

A great kitchen store is a huge asset to any shopping experience. Capital Kitchen is State Street’s best new addition. It is colorful and hip and an extremely good place for a last minute gift. For small store it’s surprisingly well stocked. Nice staff. Good stuff. Thank gods!
