Few drinks and pizza is the pass time after a hard working day with collogues. Some times you get to see live band

Being from New Jersey, I feel like I really know pizza. I hate to say it, this pizza did not impress. It was very very greasy pizza. Like from high school level of grease. I did like that they were able to totally customize the pizza. The service was so slow. So that impacted the overall meal, however the waitress was really really nice. This place is not your typical Pizza place but not really worth visiting again by us. Sorry positive pie, we are leaving under impressed.

Always dependable and the slices are fresh and diversified. Boston or New York-quality pizza in little Montpelier. I’ve been coming here for over 10 years and the quality has never wavered. For a special treat try the moonshadow pizza(with walnuts!) and the fried brussel sprouts with sriracha aioli. The beer menu is also loaded with local favorites.

«Meh. I’ve experienced better.» is a PERFECT description of this place. The pizza was very good. The chicken wings were not good at all. The service was really bad. On a relatively slow Sunday night we stopped by, ordered two personal pizzas and some chicken wings with«spicy buffalo sauce». The pizza was good, very thin NY Style. The wings — which were supposed to have«spicy buffalo sauce», were salted but otherwise bone dry and completely flavorless. The accompanying veggies looked to be on small carrot and one piece of celery split into two, and the«bleu cheese» dip was water thin and tasteless. Our waitress took our order and delivered our food but otherwise never returned. We waited over a half hour for her to come by to drop off our check, then after 20+ minutes waiting for her to come pick it up, we just switched to cash and left. It wasn’t particularly busy, so I don’t understand the slow service hold-up. The pizza was good, so that accounts for the two stars. The rest was underwhelming at best. Would not go back.

50⁄50 burger with a Hill Farmstead Edward followed by two cans of Focal and one Heady. There is no way to beat a burger mixed with bacon washed down with the best beers on the planet. There pizza was pretty good considering we are in Vermont(not the best pizza state). But they make up for quality by using a «green» box that has perforations in it that allows it to be turned into plates. Only two draw backs. No AC and the waitress gave me the wrong check and of course it was $ 20 cheaper than than my actual tab. The meal was more than worth the money though and made better that I was honest enough to point out the mistake

We just had an excellent dinner at Positive Pie! Service was excellent. I had the roasted brussel sprout appetizer. That was incredible. I also had one of their 50⁄50 artisan burgers. I had it with Blue cheese. The thing was huge. Cooked perfectly. With a fried egg! Excellent! My wife also got a burger which she really enjoyed. I’m trying to stay away from meat so when I have a good burger it’s appreciated. We’ve been to positive pie before, it’s always a pleasure. Great meal, great value, great time.

They pick and choose when they will deliver. My money is only good when they are slow. I will no longer do business with them. A good business will deliver whether they’re busy or slow.

Great service, exceptional beverage selection, good food, reasonable prices. Order the fried brussel sprouts-yum! Had to try the sprouts so held back on the entrée so I wouldn’t eat too much. The margharita pizza was good, but nothing spectacular. Really liked the crust. They have live music on occasion and I will return for sure. Highly recommend :)

Nice service. Bad food. Pizza was bland, arrived cold with dried cheese and hardly any sauce on it. Tasted like it was cooked the night before and re-warmed The 50⁄50 burger was so overcooked, it tasted like bacon flavored rubber Salad is drenched in dressing. We were on the road all day, starving, and in a rush to get back on the road, so we actually ended up eating most of the food, but I would never come back.

Decent pizza, Gluten Free option was better than hand tossed, pulled pork sandwich was mediocre made with over the counter BBQ sauce, though it says house sauce. I feel like this place is one step away from amazing but can’t quite put my finger on what it is. Service has been so so the last few times I’ve been here. I really want to like this place and will continue to give it a try to hopefully give it a better rating. Now the good: beer selection, environment, late night music!

Awesome place to sit or grab casual slices on the run. Yummy yummy pizza in a large variety. Only place my friends from Italy will eat pizza at. Also have good selection of entrees. Love the crème brûlée too

4 or 5 stars for the pizza, 2 or 3 stars for the service. The pizza is consistently very good to great, the service is a bit less consistent. Tonight was very slow, the second round of drinks was never delivered, but were on the check.

Service was the only thing that saved this place. The pizza was bland as bland could be. The 50⁄50 burger was burnt. The Poutine was covered in what seemed like cheap cheese instead of curds. I would rank this as 2⁄5 just based on food alone, but they let dogs on their patio so 3⁄5

Half decent pies, but we were fighting flies off them all night. The carcass pie was good; the blt proper was on the bland side, as was the sweet potato soup. Poutine was alright. For the price of the food, we definitely wouldn’t come again!

Pizza and the vibe are great. Service needs some work. The teenage staff working the to-go counter should be coached on customer service and the waitstaff in the front ignores you if they are busy. I had to approach both groups multiple times to get any help.

I really like this place, but the wedge salad is so underwhelming I had to write this. It’s called a «wedge» salad because it’s supposed to have a wedge of head lettuce, not several leafs on top of each other! There should have been more bacon also. I will certainly not order the wedge salad again.

Positive Pie in Montpelier, VT was picked because of its location. I wanted a restaurant near the Capitol where I could park the car within site of where I was eating. The casual restaurant exceeded my expectations. Upon examining the menu I thought of having the pulled pork. Waitress Maggie Murphy suggested I try a special burger. She made the correct choice for me. A flavorful burger with an egg, lettuce, tomato and bacon. Delicious! Thanks, Maggie. And thank you Positive Pie!

I had a slice of pesto pizza over a week ago and can’t get it off my mind. I wish I weren’t in Wisconsin! Back room though, not so much.
