LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE The most humble family owned business you could ask for, they greet you with a pleasant energy & the FOOD IS AMAZING! It speaks for it self. Its NOT DRY it’s always cooked fresh! Never just «sitting out on a steam table to dry out» or worse get you sick… Only moist fresh well seasoned never microwaved heated up rice. But REAL RICE they brought the City to Monticello. You must come & see how open & welcoming they are! Really great people working there &, great food. I promise you won’t regret it. They treat you like family & its spacious & the food tastes GREAT!!! Must make this your go to spot hands down the best spanish food in Monticello

This is how local restraints should model themselves. I went in for the first time this week after hearing great things from friends.
While waiting for the food, (I ordered a delicious ground beef dish in a sweet plantain) I spoke to the owner.
He was an enthusiastic principal who told me all the food was cooked daily and anything left over was donated to people in need, every day.
They were in the middle of expanding their menu and looking to start live music nights soon.
It’s great to see some life starting to come back to Broadway!

Amazing experience. The flavors are insanely good. Roast pork is so tender! You’ve got to try the sandwich. It’s huge!

Love love love everything about this place. First of all, it’s so nice to see such a beautiful storefront and an open business on Broadway these days. If for no other reason, my parents and I stopped in to thank the owner for their work in beautifying Monticello.
Anyway — the food here is delicious; flavorful, authentic, and made from local/​natural ingredients. Portions are generous, and came out really quick, considering everything’s made to order. They even have Kola Champagne (Puerto Rican soda), my favorite!
The owner himself took our order and I can’t even tell you how much respect I have for him. He’s a true gentleman, doing his best to serve the community. I can see myself coming here at least once every week when I’m home.
