Let start off and say we were seated at 5:50 pm and by 7:00 pm we still haven’t had our orders brought out. Our orders were very simple my wife wanted a panini I ordered a chicken salad club and my son a grilled Cheese. The waitress was very rude when we decided to leave I payed for our drinks and we left. If it was possible to give no stars I would have

Breakfast all day, everyday! I’ve been to several Michael’s and this one is the best… though they’re all independently owned(apparently) so I shouldn’t be comparing. This place has really great/helpful wait staff, food is always good, and plenty of seating.

Had a veggie burger today, the food was hot and good. Drinks were refilled regularly. The lemon pie was really good. Place is outdated looking and don’t look at the walls and ceiling, stains galore and nasty but the tables were clean and the service was attentive.

Stopped in for breakfast, food was very good(typical diner omelet) Courtney my waitress was very sweet, and quick too. In and out in 30 minutes…

Horrendous service. Went here on New Years Day, was quoted 20 – 25 minute wait, ended up waiting 1 hour for seating. Once sat, discovered restaurant was nearly empty and were just short on servers. Server took our order immediately, but it took 40+ minutes to actually get the food once we ordered. Server told us there was only one chef for entire restaurant Once we received the food, several items were missing, and overall it was pretty terrible food. server gave us 20% off the check because of such a poor experience. It’s safe to say we won’t be going back.

I truly believe they mean well, but it really doesn’t stand up to other choices in the area. The décor and the cleanliness of the establishment don’t really enhance the dining experience to well. Just a little cleaning could go a long way. The food was average at best. The service had good intentions but our waitress was either very discombobulated by nature or was just having a bad day. Pleasant but absent minded. Just not a great experience but you left feeling bad for them more than you felt being cheated out of a good meal.

My family and I have been going to Michaels for over ten years, but after today’s visit we will NEVER be returning. I ordered eggs with home fries, toast and sausage. The eggs tasted like they were a day old and the sausage looked like it was cooked last week. I sent the eggs back and got the same old eggs again. Being as hungry as I was I ate the second eggs with little satisfaction. When I signaled the owner to come over I was told that I shouldn’t have eaten the eggs if I didn’t like them. I have never dealt with an owner that believes the customer is not always right. I told the owner I would not like to pay for the meal and instead of providing proper customer service I was told I had to pay. When we went to pay for our meal, we were told the eggs were eaten so we had to pay. The checkout ladies said the owner had left the building. What kind of owner leaves their restaurant and let’s their servers handle this sort of situation. It’s a real shame that we won’t be coming back to eat again, but after having this poor of service I don’t see how anyone could eat here and leave happy.

Three of us had Breakfast at Michaels yesterday and the results were underwhelming. The service was poor as the waitress did not bring requested items such as hot sauce or coffee on time. All of our food was cold. The cream chipped beef was especially poor because the cream part of it was congealed. I will not go back there again and I do not recommend this restaurant to anybody

It’s a dinner. The service was ok, but the breakfast was pretty good. Standard fare — pancakes, bacon, omelettes etc. the inside though… I’m pretty sure it’s the original interior from the 60s. It’s starting to look a little rough. Overall, not a bad choice before a road trip, but I wouldn’t take a date ;)

This place grossed me out. Went around midnight for a late night meal. Was seated by a woman who looked strung out. Waitress had few teeth but was friendly. Place smelled like Clorox. Walked out shortly after we looked at the menu. Never again.

Stopped in here for a coffee and a piece of pie. The place is filthy. The pie was ice cold despite being«warmed up». The coffee was putrid. Does Bucks County have a health department? In the fine traditions of PA diners this one is in the hall of shame.

Meal was very good. Seafood chowder was very good too. Our waitress was exceptional… the diner was very neat and clean. Only problem I had was the hostess was RUDE! Other than that it was a great experience, my waitress made up for what the hostess lacked. I would go back again if I was in the area.

Friendly service, good food. Packed on Sunday afternoons, and for a good reason. Their breakfast food is incredible. Their desserts are also phenomenal. I can’t speak much to the rest of their fare, however.

This place is A ok in my book. I took my family here for brunch on a Wednesday and everything was on point, from service to food, to prices. The most important part was that my wife is very particular about her food and everywhere we go she usually has a problem with something, but not at this place. She was very impressed with everything that we ordered. Also, the serving sizes where more than enough. Just my two cents. Peace

I would rate the food as ok. The salad bar was respectable but not great. For instance the broccoli salad was no very palatable, nor the seafood pasta. Both the minestrone and onion soup obviously from a can, unappetizing and overly salty. Served luke warm, as was the res of my meal. BLT sandwich was not bad. Tomatoes weren’t the best but they never are unless you grow them yourself. The kids had spaghetti and meatball. Canned tomato sauce was kind of gross and the meatball was sub par. Egg plant parm, like everything else was luke warm and served with the gross canned spaghetti sauce. My impression is that they rely on pre-prepared foods and a microwave on their dinners

I really don’t know why I’ve been here more than once… probably because I am a broke college kid. Anyway, it makes me sick thinking that I’ve returned after the service I’ve gotten. The place is just a mess. Hair in food on more than one occasion, the salad bar is gross, and any food from here other than breakfast makes me wanna barf. I think the worse experience I’ve ever had here was when my friends and I came for the All-You-Can-Eat wings. The wings weren’t bad, but they cut off our group after our second plate each(there are about 4 to 5 wings on each plate). The waitress claimed they were running out, and that she had other tables to serve. She was SO rude, and assumed entitlement since we were a group of teenagers. After tolerating her annoyed sighs and one too many eye rolls, I spoke with the manager. I told her about our horrible service. I must say, she was very kind and professional. She called in another cook(who was apparently bringing more wings? I don’t understand to this day what was up with that), but I insisted that we had lost our appetite. Instead, each of my friends received a free scoop of ice cream. Needless to say, we didn’t tip over 10% and I won’t be back. Spend your money elsewhere.

Oh Michael’s. Where do I start? I’ve had a long standing relationship with this place. Growing up in Lansdale my parents used to take me here for breakfast or the occasional cheap dinner. Later it became a hang out spot for my community college and working friends who lived on coffee and cigarettes. Once the smoking ban was put into effect we all went our separate ways… but now, years later, I find myself frequenting Michael’s once again for a quiet place to get a bite and study… and no, I don’t miss being able to smoke there(smoking is bad, m’kay?) Some of the same staff is still here since I was a patron at 19(now 26) which I like. They’re usually attentive and friendly… unless their friends come in to eat… then you can expect to be ignored. No one seems to mind when I come in for a long night of free coffee refills while studying for an exam. My mug, for the most part, is never left empty. Now onto the food… What you SHOULD order from here: –Breakfast food — always reliable any time of day or night –Burger and fries — standard Sysco fries, can’t really go wrong –Gyro — best I’ve had since I lived in a Greek area in FL –Broccoli cheese bites — omg. What you SHOULDN’T order from here: –The salad bar if it’s after 7 pm — seriously, it’s been out all day –The Thanksgiving meal — just don’t do it –Chicken croquettes — I know I’m a weirdo for even ordering these things in the first place… let’s just say I did it so you won’t have to –Wings Everything else is hit or miss. More often than not I’m satisfied. It’s your typical diner fare — don’t expect 4 star cooking and you’ll be just fine.

I had been to Michael’s a few times in the past and found it be kind of «meh» but the last time I was in for breakfast, I really got the impression that they had expanded their menu. I had a solid veggie breakfast wrap with home fries included and was not only more than satisfied with the portion, but found the prices to be great as well. I think our visit was further enhanced by the staff — everyone from the hostess to the server to the cashier at the end of the meal was very prompt, pleasant and attentive. I have been driving far and wide to find a decent place for breakfast — seems like I won’t have to keep going so far anymore!

Michael’s is the perfect spot for an artery-clogging breakfast with a smile. Besides, on a Sunday night, where else are you going to go? Aside from a watering hole, I mean. There’s the typical gamut of diner food, and if you like ice cream, there’s that, too. Easy parking, which shouldn’t be a surprise considering where it is.

3.5 Stars Yeah, it’s a diner, but it’s really one of the best diners around! I’ve been coming here for as long as I can remember. It’s a nice to have a reliable place for breakfast on the weekends when I go home to visit my parents. Like another Unilocaler said, it is sort of depressing inside, but if you sit in the front room near the windows it’s a totally different experience. Breakfast is good, lunch is ok, but coming here for drunk food late at night is great! Who would have thought they have such good wings?
