I chose this place over Karas Cupcakes based on Unilocal reviews while driving down to visit a friend in the hospital, glad I did! It was late Saturday afternoon and the café was quiet amongst a busy street. The woman who helped me was knowledgable about the cupcakes and helped me choose from the low inventory that was left. I will be visiting again when in the area!

I came here on a torrential rainy late Tuesday morning. We only ordered cupcakes, nothing from the café menu. The gal that worked there was so sweet. She apologized for the limited cupcakes available and explained that they were baking more. But the selection was more than I anticipated for a Tuesday. The storefront is clean, modern, and had an urban chic vibe. I loved the quality modern wood tables. Chairs and Stools were comfy, I had to add that comment in because i have a pet peeve about comfy seating. We sat at the window counter watching life go by and enjoying our cupcakes. I choose a chocolate Oreo cupcake. Delicious! The bottom of the cupcake had a cookie crust. It was not overly sweet; the double chocolate cupcake was done right. Hubs choose a vanilla cupcake with almonds and poppy seed. It was tasty. The cake was moist and solid. Both frostings were buttercream and had a great consistency and texture. The cupcakes were $ 3.25 each. The prices are comparable to the other bakeries in the area. Just to note: They have a small parking lot, which is a plus in this town. Their paper plates and cups/lids are compost able. Yay!

Stopped in to the shop about 4:30 on a Tuesday. They had plenty of cupcakes to choose from. I went with the Boston Cream, Lemon, Cherry, Rocky Road and Caramel Macchiato. All were amazing and a big hit at our little get together. Price is reasonable at $ 3.25 each

Yummy and unique. These were a big hit when I brought them to a Board meeting– the most difficult part is deciding which one to try!!! The trick is – these are so good that you better get in there early to get the best selection. Lunch is good – just the right size soups, pot pies, etc for a quick bite and room for cupcakes:) Think«One of a Kind» recipes that take cupcakes to a new level

Third time I’ve tried to come here WITHIN its business hours and the place is closed. Apparently it’s open less than a bank. Won’t be trying again. Keep in mind the listed business hours are mon– Fri 9 – 6 and its 2pm on a Monday.

Greeted with a warmth smile. Great service. There were about 20 different cupcakes options, she explained to us all the different flavors. We also ordered white mocha coffee, my bf loves the cup

I had high hopes for this place since I’m new in town and on the prowl for an amazing place to get my cupcake fix. Ordered one of the daily specials. The cupcake itself was way too wet inside and kinda just fell apart when I picked it up. The frosting was very heavy and too sweet. Overall, these cupcakes are meh.

We absolutely love Mrs Delish! The cupcakes are the best we have ever had! The frosting is just a perfect combination, creamy not to sweet. Just perfection! I also tried one of her salads, and it was amazing! My only problem is I live 45 minutes away! You won’t be disappointed with Mrs. Delish! The owner is so kind and sweet, and willing to help make your experience the best!

We got hooked on their cupcakes when they were on Lighthouse Ave near PG. Today, we went to their new location on Del Monte Avenue(near the NPS) for lunch to try out their pot pies. The veggie and shephard’s pot pies were delicious — lots of veggies in both. We also had the lentil soup with sausage — hot and delicious. We were pleasantly surprised with their lunch menu and will be back.

Mrs. DeLish’s Cupcakes has moved. When I looked around on line to find out where, I found these Unilocal ratings. I have never seen such a concentrated group of human adult wining babies in my life. These cupcakes are very good and the service over the past few years has been just fine. The only viable complaint I can see in here is the frustration over their hours when they run out of cupcakes and close. But if you are local, you just know this and expect it. If your not local, go to a conglomerate like Nob Hill or Safeway to get your snacks then complain to them and see how far you get which will be no where.

So I’ve had their cupcakes before. Tasty and delish. Since we are not that far away we stopped to get a bite for lunch. They had lemon chicken soup available and pot pies. Curry chicken, chicken herb, shepherd’s pie, and a veggie option. The shepherd’s pie was tasty, but I really like the chicken herb. It contains onions, peas, Brussels sprouts, carrots, and chicken. The mini is the perfect size for one person. I was not able to finish the entire thing. Only about 2⁄3. According to Mary the mini is 8 oz and the standard is 16 oz. We ordered a red velvet, lemon, coconut with chocolate, and caramel macchiato. Red velvet was good. Lemon was tart but good. A little too much frosting for me. Very convenient. There needs to be more food options around Monterey. You get tired of eating the same things over and over again.
