If you are in the mood for a FANTASTIC bite to eat or cup of coffee this is the best place around. Stopped in on a drive from Oakland to Big Sur and was OVERJOYED w the baguette, Kale Currant salad, coffee and lemon Lorina. Skip Peet’s around the corner as this is FIVESTARS!!!

This little gem reminded me of the pastry shops in Paris! Quaint, decorated very nicely, vintage chic and homey. The pastries were amazing!!! I had the pear cranberry — so fresh and not overly sweet. I really can’t express how the freshness was just so perfect! Was hoping to go back again today — but sadly they are closed. Was hoping to take a spinach and feta croissant home with me. Oh and the almond milk latte was perfect!!! I look forward to coming back here again! Thank you for a delightful start to my Saturday!

I guess I’ll give it 5 stars. My last experience was pleasant and my decadent layered chocolate walnut cake was out of this world, insanely delicious. Street parking in front of the business is limited. It’s basically on the other side of the Trader Joe’s parking lot, so you can park somewhere and walk over. Very small inside. There’s like 3 mini(2seater) tables. I have ordered a few things here. Most recently was the almond croissant(4.50ish) and the chocolate walnut cake(5.95ish). I’ve also had the macaron, some other cake and another pastry which were ok. I called in beforehand to see what was left. I had an almond croissant placed on hold. When I arrived I added the chocolate cake and ate it there! The chocolate walnut cake seriously floored me. Every single layer was amazing… Looking forward to going back for a rare indulgence and maybe I’ll enjoy an Acme Coffee too. Ps-they have truffles and cute seasonal cookies. And quiche and soup and salad and little sandwiches.

I have never been to France and when I do, let me tell you… The Country of France has stiff competition when it comes to croissants… Parkers croissants are off the chain ridiculously good. Their the absolute best on the Monterey Peninsula. I wish, I was a better writer so I could describe their airy, buttery flakey goodness with better adjectives. By the way, they are even sold at Whole Foods. They must get their butter from France or at least use a super high quality. Have you ever had a KouignMa? «pronounced» Queen-a-ma. I get the plain, best way to describe it; imagine croissant dough shaped into a swirl/bun baked in a honey buttery glaze… It’s unbelievable how good they are! I don’t order much of their cakes but with that said, we did have their orange chocolate cake for my wedding, which of course was spectacular. Espresso drinks, this is where they loose my devotion, not the best. Because of Starbucks not many places can make a good macchiato. Go to Pete’s coffee and order one. ITHASTOBESERVEDINSMALLSAMPLESIZECUP, and that is how a TRUE macchiato is supposed to be made. After ordering our cake for our wedding I found out that my grandmother had a not so pleasant experience. Now, being that I’m a loving devoted grandson if, I would of hear that story first, I would have not done business w/them. My grandmother gets her hair done once a week(youngsters reading this, this is how the OG’s do things). On her way to the beauty parlor she would stop in and grab pastries to share w/the gals at the salon. The owner told her don’t come in this early. She may have heard it wrong, the owner does have an accent and I think it was a young business at that time. Anyway, I thought I would share and thank God I didn’t know of this until I have become a dye hard fan. By the way, I sometimes bring my Nana their pastries… Keep up the amazing product and hard work!

WORSECUSTOMERSERVICE!!! Walked in around 5:20pm for a Latte. As soon as my daughter and I stepped foot into the door, we felt very UNWELCOME! The 2 girls working seemed to drop what they were doing, looked at each other and just stared at us with their dagger eyes. Talk about bad vibes! From my understanding they weren’t closing until 5:30, and it sure does not take more than 10mins to make a latte! WOW! Sadly I LOOOOOVE Parker-Lasseau! Guess I won’t be visiting anymore! No hi, bye or thank you?! To make it even more uncomfortable, when I ordered the latte the woman helping us banged the strainer in the TRASH really loud, then reused it for my latte. Hmmmmm… she obviously was upset. These employees were very RUDE!!! I apologize for coming in 10 minutes prior to closing, but at least have decency to hide the anger from your customers!

Amazing!!! I love this place, It was my first time here and all I can say is I will be back. I had the apple crisp with a dark chocolate mocha. They make their whip cream from scratch. I have not been to France but I believe the taste would be close to original.

Adorable little place to grab a pastry and some coffee before wandering into the city. The seating is limited inside, so be sure to grab your coat if you’re sitting on the patio. Almond croissant was to die for, and the latte, also fab. Housed in a cute little historical building off the main drag it’s a breath of fresh air in a place where starbucks has popped up on every corner.

The shop is tucked in next to the post office right before Carl’s Ally, very charming building. I ducked in because I saw a patron walking out stuffing their face with some kind of pastry that made my mouth water immediately… turns out it was a plain brioche and I got the last one of the batch. I also got an apple galette. Both items were very delicious and I think I’ll need to stay away from this place or I’ll end up as a diabetic. Service was friendly and there’s indoor and outdoor seating, recommend going on a nice day and enjoying the sunshine.

I haven’t been here in a few years and I didn’t realize what a treasure this place is. It’s a true patisserie. My previous review had me unimpressed, but after living in Paris the past 18 months and trying it again, it gets a solid 5 stars from me now. The cannelé are not to be missed. Also they have really good coffee.

Oh. my. goodnessssssssss. THIS is the place to go to indulge your tastebuds. Nothing short of spectacular… And absolutely delightful. I wish there were a bakery of this caliber back in Boulder. Ordered the brioche and the almond croissant(based off of other recommendations). I will be drooling over that brioche for months to come! So good. And the espresso beverages are good too. Believe the good reviews for this bakery, because they are every bit the truth. Gluten Free folks best stay far away from here, lest they be tempted by the gluten filled goodness. Sorry, hubs, but this place is just for me. ;)

I dream and dream of returning this bakery café whenever I have a chance. Alas, it is 340 miles away, so when I do come back about twice a year. I eat here almost twice a day until I leave… and when I do, it’s with a box of goodies to go. I’ve never had a bad experience… only pure heavenly mouth watering joy. Every thing, including the sandwiches I’ve had was amazing… and being a croissant lover, you just can’t get better unless you get on a plane to France. Butter, Chocolate, and of course the Almond croissant is like rays of heaven dancing in joy once you take a bite. When visiting, I prefer to enjoy the treats on one of the many tables in Pacific Grove along the shore line. Can’t really get much better than that. Yes, it’s a little pricey, but worth every penny. Every penny.

So we had a quick stop for some coffee and the so mentioned quiche. So glad we did!!! It seemed that me made it for the last quiche so while it was getting warmed up in the oven we go super lucky that they deliver more quiche into the store, yes that’s right warm ones right of the oven. Hubby and I shared one original quiche Loraine and one tomato and goat cheese one, which we both agreed were the favorite one. As myself of course I also had to try a little sweet treat so I had the plum croissant soooo good! And yes to top it off two lattes made with organic milk. Will definitely come back if we are ever in town. Loved this little store packed with sweet little treats and the sweetest girls behind the counter

Several locations. We elected to visit the little historical building. Quaint it was. Simple menu each to identify pastries. We stopped in for breakfast. Parking was found on the streets nearby or close by other business lots. Not much seating inside this little patisserie. Line space was short. Seating inside and outside. We caught a good point for breakfast. Most tables were full inside on the chilly day. We ordered a quiche with goat cheese and sun dried tomato, almond croissant, and coffee. Quiche was made fresh that day and warmed up. The quiche was light and fluffy. Not dense. Tomato and goat cheese complimented another. The almond croissant was full of almond flavor. Sweet but not teeth rotting. The coffee was empty and fresh batch was made. The house coffee was medium roast, not acidic and smooth. All items ordered were enjoyed throughout. Good staff was courteous and food was right on point to exceeding expectations. Bad: wish we didn’t feel crammed. We would have sat outside it was a little nicer outside. Can’t ding this place for size. Enjoyed the breakfast. We will come back.

What an adorable little shop! I came here on a recommendation while on a solo trip in Monterey. I stopped here to grab an espresso and a quick bite before heading to the Aquarium. I walked in and immediately wanted to try each and every sweet and savory pasty, but since that wasn’t possible, I chose one sweet and one savory. I opted for the spinach and cheese quiche and the triple lemon tart. They heated the quiche and the crust was nice flakey and overall rich and delicious! I was full after that, but I went on to tackle my tart. Oh my, the combination of sweet and tartness was perfect. The inside of the shop is small and intimate with only three tables, but the outside has more seating. It was very chilly that morning, but I opted to sit outside in the brisk air bundled up.

The best delicious macaroons. My favorite flavors were coconut lime, raspberry, pumpkin, lavender and the seasonal flavors. The More Classic flavors like vanilla, coffee, pistachio are also good but the unique ones are always worth a try. Just get a few so you can taste all the different flavors Don’t forget a great cup of cappuccino or a sandwich for lunch. The curried chicken on a croissant is deliciousness! Staff is usually friendly but there are some off days. Conveniently located in between the post office and trader joes with 1833 down the street. But that also makes it difficult for parking.

Das Gebäck reicht vom Brioche über verschiedenste Tartes, Macarones, selbstgemachte Pralinen und natürlich belegte Sandwiches, Paninis und und und. Nicht verwunderlich ist die Tatsache, dass der Macher hinter dem Konzept aus Frankreich stammt und sich hier seine Inspiration geholt hat, doch die Liebe holte ihn dann in das verschlafene kalifornische Hafenstädchen. Ein Glück kann man da nur sagen! Würde ich in Monterey wohnen, wäre ich ein treuer Stammgast und daher bekommt die Patisserie glatte fünf Sterne von mir! Zu merken. — hier wird jeden Tag frisch selbst gebacken! — Wer Stempel für seinen täglichen Kaffee sammelt, kann seine Punktekarte direkt in das Karteikästchen neben der Kasse unter seinem Buchstaben einordnen. — wunderschöné Veranda, auf der man die ganze Nachmittagssonne abbekommt. — Hier gibt es leckeren Kaffee auch mit Sojamilch. Einziges Manko, hier bekommt man ihn nur im Pappbecher. Wo bleibt die französische Bowl? — Proiert das Crossaint, soll angeblich das beste der Stadt sein.
