JJ Beauty Salon

I’ve been a client of Jennifer’s for as long as I can remember! She’s kind, super funny, and more importantly, intuitive of what hairstyles look good with my face. She’s honest about her opinions, and if she doesn’t think a certain trim will frame your face well, listen to her. I’ve ignored her a few times, and have learned the hard way.
Jennifer has recently moved locations from Tress Illusions to JJ Beauty Salon. Great move as this facility has a much bigger parking lot and a beautiful, bright space.
I just started highlighting my hair and she did a fantastic job! My highlights look natural and organic as if I’ve spent the entire summer on the beach soaking up the sun.
She’s off on Mondays, but scheduling appointments with her is easy and she’s very accommodating.

Reasons I love this place:
— My beautician, Anna, just moved here
— While most beauticians don’t work pass 5pm, Anna is very accommodating with her appointments, I love how she would stay and wait for me to come over overwork :)
For someone that rarely award anything more than 3 stars, can’t you tell I am a fan of Anna when I am giving her 4 stars?
I took a look in the mirror today at work and thought to myself. «OMG, I need a facial». So I picked up my phone and called Anna for an appointment. She told me «Sure, the usual time?» and notified me of her new location. Yup… Today is the first day she moved to JJ Beauty Salon at Monterey Park.
Compared to the location she was at previously, this place is nice, big and clean. Best of all… It was quiet and relaxing! There is another hair stylist at this location, but I doubt if I can an opportunity to try him, because I let Anna do everything relating to my head. :P
Yup, I have been a loyal customer of Anna for almost 10 years. Followed her through 3 different locations already, and this is definitely a nice move.
Aside for the normal facials she gives, she also offer services on:
— Perming eyelashes;
— Eyelash extension;
— Tattoo eyebrows/​eyeliner;
— Bridal Makeup and Hair; and
— Haircuts and Treatments
I love going to Anna for my facials because she gives a full head/​face massage with pressing your pressure points as she do the massage. (This is why I love her, but some might not like it as they prefer the softer relaxing type of facials… But I always snore through the whole process).
If you happen to try facials with Anna and like it, make sure you ask her about her 10-​facials discount package. You would save a couple bucks here and there.
