We loved this restaurant for it’s atmosphere and hospitality. They treated us wonderfully. The view at sunset over the pond was spectacular. Their garden was beautifully maintained. The restaurant inside had an older charm. The bread was fresh and great. The food was fresh and decently tasty, not amazing — admittedly, we’re a bit spoiled in NYC. Portions are family sized, but they had a special that was the perfect size for a couple.

For the price, not really worth it. We started with the mussels for an appetizer. Really good, nice sauce and a huge portion. Before we were finished, our entrée arrived. With a small table we were a bit annoyed, but a waitress nearby saw and quickly came over to send it back to the kitchen. When it came back out, our $ 52 striped bass dinner was tough and over cooked. Poor timing between the kitchen and and the servers. Nice scenery but inside dining was sub par for the prices.

My boyfriend took me here and we sat at the bar. We had heard about this gem from other people and had to check it out for ourselves. My boyfriend called 2 days prior to try and make a reservation and the only time they had available was 10pm. So he said lets just go down and check it out maybe have a drink. We got there at 4:45 and noticed there were a crowd of people lined up waiting to get in. I didn’t realize they open at 5, so lucky us we like the rest of the people lined up to be the first ones to walk into the restaurant as soon as they opened the front doors. It was kind of like a race lol at first I was weirded out by it but figured these people are here for a reason. Well sure enough they were right! We grabbed 2 seats at the bar and had a nice romantic evening. We ordered the Buratta to share, pesto was delicious touch. Then we ordered the pork tenderloin, it was HUGE!!! Delicious everything was top notch. Forgot to mention they start you off with sourdough bread and give you fresh shaved parm with 2 choices of olive oil to start. I loved the spicy orange olive oil the best! We truly enjoyed ourselves, and would recommend this place to others!

Our annual trip to Montauk includes dinner at Harvest. This restaurant never disappoints me. Our table of 5 split the salad, the artichoke pizza, skirt steak and a pasta dish. Every dish was excellent, the cocktails including the lavender martini, were excellent as was the service. I highly recommend Harvest for its food, ambiance and service.

This place never disappoints. We come every year and the food is always amazing! Service is always fantastic! Portions are huge! Worth the money. You can’t go wrong with ambiance and food. Seafood bruschetta is ridiculously good!

We had a great table next to the windows and enjoyed a beautiful sunset. The locations is so perfect! The food was really good and the portions quite generous. We shared one entrée and a pasta dish. Both delicious! We left feeling pretty full and satisfied :)

Overrated and over priced. Terrible red wine but let’s move forward. Their cheese is delicious, but they use it to save their tasteless bread and tasteless, famous oysters. Their famous lamb ribs are regrettably tasteless as well — the only good and also wonderful thing about them was the perfected smoky taste. But a pure and good chared taste should not cover a deliciousless of a meat. Their pork loin is overcooked as well. Give the rest of menu a shot, but if your expensive porterhouse or swordfish is over cooked as well, it’s your own fault if you’re reading this. The pluses: The music is modern and delightful. The view of the water here is amazing. And unfortunately, the ribs may be the best item on menu but only because everything else is so, so moderate. Come on wealthy Montaukians, surely your taste is better than rating this place on Unilocal as your best. If you think that this place is great then it is a poor, poor reflection on your own ability to make delicious food.

One of my favorite places I’ve been! Last minutes we decided to go here for dinner after our plans that night didn’t work out, but were not disappointed after dinner here. It was a little pricy, but for the portions size it is actually pretty reasonable. My boyfriend at the time and I who can have quite the appetite were very satisfied sharing one pasta dish and mussels for an appetizer. The service was average, but the food and Patio lit atmosphere were great.

Wow, just wow. In the spur of the moment my friend and I decided to stop at this restaurant after it was suggested by a stranger. She mentioned how phenomenal the food was. And boy was she right! We got there 30 minutes before they were to open, so we had to stand in line outside. Once they opened we were seated right away and given menus. The waitress was nice, not overly friendly but in no way rude. She had a few tables so every time she left it was almost 10 minutes later before we could get her attention. She told us about the huge portions most of the meals were– big enough to share. It took us 40 minutes to pick a meal(my friend is picky with meat and the waitress was hard to track down) before we landed on the roasted chicken with garlic mashed potatoes and roasted tomato. OMG it was DELICIOUSANDWORTHTHE40MINUTEDECISION, plus it came out in 10 minutes. I loved everything about it to the point where I didn’t even want to share, I wanted my friends portion too lol. And the lemonade! Soooo good! Not too sweet, just right. I highly recommend this place!

Great. The calamari salad was amazing. The portions are huge because it’s family style. 2 of us split the small salad, and a special seafood entrée, and we were more than satisfied.

This was our first time here. The service was really nice. But the food is just awful. We had the broiled oysters with cheese, shrimp and white beans and calamari salad. Followed by old mussels, and super dry swordfish. Yak. Never again. And the whole thing costa fortune.

I took my first visit to Montauk last week and made a stop at this restaurant with my friends. We had a really great meal. The portions are family size, but you can also get individual size portions as well. The only downfall is that we had to wait half an hour for our table even though we made reservations well in advance. If I ever come back to Montauk, I am definitely coming back and ordering the calamari salad. It is unbelievable!

Went here last night with my boyfriend. We drove 2 hours to try this place out and it was totally worth it. It was a little bit over crowded and loud but after eating here it’s understandable as to why. It’s family style but you can order anything half portion. Our fat asses went all in with a half appetizer of lamb ribs and two full entrees of the bruschetta seafood thing and the swordfish. Everything was really good as were our drinks. Try their lavender martini. We also had bloody Mary’s while we waited to be seated that were awesome but expensive. Overall didn’t spend as much as I thought I would. The scenery is really nice too. Def better than gosmans.

A cute and cozy restaurant located in downtown Montauk. We have dined for dinner a few times in the winter months. The service was good and food was plentiful and enjoyable. Entrees have large portions. They have indoor and outdoor dining, with location on the pond. Restaurant was busy, but reservations not required during winter months

For the money we spent on dinner we were robbed, hence the two stars. We went the Saturday before the St. Patrick’s Day Parade. I expected a crowd and got it. There were bag pipes marching through the bar, which we loved, great conversation with locals and visitors and a few lovely cocktails. Then we went into dinner… the waitress explained the family style dining, we ordered the 40 oz. porterhouse anyway. It was brought to our table off the bone and sliced, leaving me to wonder where it really came from. Seventy-eight dollars for a porterhouse I want to take it off the bone myself. The Lamb rib appetizer, 24 dollars, was nothing but fat, huge disappointment. Our Salad was unimaginative the sides were too large and Ho-hum. Our dessert was the flourless chocolate cake with gelato. A two pound slice of cake with a tablespoon of gelato… this alone could divide families. Needless to say we may return for a cocktail, but we’ll stop there.

Mediocre food but great location and awesome drinks. I really wanted to like this place but the food was just nothing special. I came with just my boyfriend and we ordered Caesar salad and the veal rigatoni to share. It was ENTIRELY too much food… we could’ve shared this with two other people. Definitely huge family style portions that I wouldn’t recommend coming with less than 4 people. The location is beautiful though. The front dining room and outdoor patio are so cute. They have a little dock that’s beautiful to walk out on during the sunset. And the best for last… the cocktails! WOW. I had the Harvest Sunset which was like heaven in a cup. My boyfriend had The Ginger which he said was«refreshing». Wouldn’t come back for the food, but maybe for just a cocktail on the patio.

Sadly, what should have been a 3.5 star review has degenerated into a 2 star rating. We made a reservation for 12 people a week in advance for a 9:15 spot and were really looking forward to kicking off our weekend with a great meal. We got to Harvest a few minutes after 9 and were told our table was running late so we hung out at the bar. There was a guy with a really long goss unkempt beard who was making drinks and we were praying that we wouldn’t get a hair in our drinks. The hostess kept telling us that the people at the outside 12 top had ordered dessert and had paid their check at 9:30. We were fine with that. 15 minutes later, we were told that the 12 top people were still there. The hostess tried to present us with other options, but then as she presented the options, kept negating herself and telling us that HER options wouldn’t work. It turns out that Harvest would not make the 12 top leave even after they paid their check at 9:15 because it was their chef and his family. I think Harvest also knew that our dinner options were limited. During this waiting time, we also witnessed a car accident in the parking lot so we were entertained for at least 7 minutes. Fast forward to after 10PM … we were seated at a cramped makeshift table inside. Fresh bread was served and we devoured it since we were starving. We also ordered drinks and bottles of wine. We ordered the oysters, seared tuna, burrata/asparagus, swordfish piccata, bowtie pasta with sausage, mashed potatoes, garlic french fries and artichoke pizza. We could have ordered more but sadly the kitchen closed, something that the wait staff should have told us beforehand. And this is a weird thing, they would only fill our water glasses to the the quarter mark level? It’s a shame because the food was actually decent. The manager came over to chat with us and was non-apologetic, argumentative and actually yelled at me. She must have felt bad because Harvest took a bottle of wine off the check. A potentially beautiful dinner ruined. Thanks, Harvest.

— 20 minute wait for a table outside. No space indoors when we walked in. All good because we wanted to sit outside anyway! :) You may want to bring a jacket though, as you’re by the water and you most likely won’t be sitting by the wood fire things. — Older crowd. The place has a distinguished vibe. A bit fancy shmancy. AKA don’t come here in your bikini and sandals. — Ordered the calamari salad, lobster rolls(3 to an order), ahi tuna app, and 2 Sol beers(at the bar while we waited). Loved it all. We didn’t even need any entrees to become full, as their calamari salad is HUGE. However, if I hadn’t been full, I would’ve gotten one of their fabulously monstrous desserts. — Service was forgettable. Food was good enough that it didn’t matter.

Food was delicious WELUCKED Out that they took reservations for our large group. Extremely hospitable the staff was extremely polite, accommodating and attentive. So service was excellent. A good restaraunt is constantly ascertaining satisfaction The food: pretty good Very in important to note when ordering. It’s family style so most plates can probably serve at least two, I say 3 — 4 The bread is over the top. So make sure u don’t pig out as u will definitely need room for the rest Calamari salad is huge. Lots of greens and tasty. The marinated grilled lamb ribs are okay. They are cooked medium as are a bit fatty. There are better things to try on the menu The asparagus with fresh mozz weakly was very good. Well seasoned perfect for there to four people to share. Pan seared rare tuna was also extremely good. So overall high marks for the apps Btw, they have a pretty robust wine selection and their sweet tea is awesome. Rigatoni veal bolognese is awesome. It’s not your usual meat Bolognese. Talk about cooking pasta perfectly, well it was killer Grilled chicken was flavorful. Huge serving of mashed potatoes They serve a 16 oz skirt steak with fresh arugula And roasted garlic butter. Very tasty Remember it’s all family style Lastly u have to have the fresh fruit ice cream sandwich. It too is family style. All in all a winner. Bring your Amex black card. It’s not cheap but u will have leftovers
