I go to this restaurant for its relaxing ambience for studying and doing homework. Try their hokkaido milk hot pot it’s delicious. The only thing that bothers me is around 8pm they open the doors and start smoking outside and it can be very distracting.

They have a 10 $ min purchase if you try to pay with card. The kitchen closes early after that you can only order drinks :/. It’s good. You’re average boba place nothing more.

ID Cha House has a nice atmosphere for you to get some work done. Spacious parking lot. Almost, always empty. Plenty of tables and well spread out from one another. Offers Wi-Fi. Clean restrooms(for females, at least). They greet you the moment you walk in and the moment you leave. Roasted Oolong Milk Tea(L) $ 4.50( ) — My go-to drink because I love oolong. I also like that you can customize how sweet you want the drink as well. I used to order their Osmanthus Oolong Milk Tea all the time, but they suddenly stopped making it. You can order Osmanthus Milk Tea OR Oolong Milk Tea now. French Fries $ 4.25( ) — My go-to snack. I would suggest ordering«spicy» or «extra spicy» because«medium» barely had a kick to it. Not all the fries were seasoned either. TIP: If you order to-go, you get a free size upgrade on any drink! Keep in mind that you cannot get a stamp if you order to-go, it’s for dine-in only.

It’s 11pm on a Sunday night and my cuz and I had no other place to go so why not. We ended up here at ID Cha House. I could’ve sworn it was a different name but it’s written pretty big on the wall inside so you don’t get it twisted. With all these Cha spots in the 626 it’s easy to mistaken one for the other. This place has an open floor plan so you kind that school library ambiance as you look around and see a bunch of random young adults on their laptops or quietly chit chatting in what appears to be study groups. The employees were pretty chill and got our orders and drinks out quickly. I have to warn you though that the food did take a lot longer. What felt like forever was probably just a 17 minute wait for our popcorn chicken and pretty waffle plate. I have to rate this place 5 stars because despite all the negative reviews about customer service we received really good service thus I tipped 20% as one should always tip and they quickly thanked us and told us to have a good night as we walked out. I will return when I get the chance for late night snacks, green tea, and lazy long kick backs with friends/family. :)

worst f***ing customer service ever! They kick us out because we have outside food. One of the guy said he called the boss with the worst attitude I have seen in my whole life and boss said we need to leave. I asked to talk to the boss and they reject. First time got kick out from a place and for some stupid reason. Not gonna go there again!

3STAR: yummy drinks and food, friendly waitress, and open to study till 12AM every day! Unfortunately could had been the perfect study spot if it was a nonsmoking area. Even the door in the back slightly opens, the smoke still enters. :(

Came here and bought Boba and food for four to go. The service was very nice, though their English is not the best and struggled to understand my order. Not a big deal though. The food and drinks were good. I had ordered mild chicken and got medium, which was pretty hot. Didn’t mind it too much. The prices are too high here, and had spend $ 20 more dollars than what I normally spend at the place I normally go to for the same exact order.

I also got a free upgrade to a large cup because they remporarily have a free upgrade to large for togo orders. I also like the crazy straws… it’s a nice little touch.:D

They just asked me to leave at 11:40 so they could go home by the time they close at 12. I’m sorry, but that’s an issue you should bring up to your manager. Maybe change your hours of business so that you close at 11:30, so you can actually finish/leave before 12? Because you’re trying to kick out customers even when you advertise that you open late. I totally understand wanting to close early– I’ve worked in restaurants too. What kind of food establishment asks people to leave before closing– I’ve never done it and it’s never happened to me before this. And I heard the girl mouthing off in mandarin about how I wouldn’t leave… so RUDE! I can hear and understand you. But seriously… talk to your boss and update your sign or stop complaining. If your business hours are updated, I wouldn’t mind leaving earlier. I literally only come here to study. I don’t even like the drinks– I just need the space. I warn new people that I bring here that the drinks are shitty so that they don’t expect much. And I tell them to stick with things that are not too complicated(so their order isn’t fked up). I used to get the snacks here too, until I experienced food poisoning from their undercooked popcorn chicken… Then I resorted to ONLY ordering their subpar drinks. I come here all the time, but I think I’m going to be going to other boba shops for late night study sessions from now on. I haven’t studied here for about a month but I usually come every other night when I do and I stay until closing. This was the only time I’ve ever been asked to leave early(and by a new girl who I didn’t recognize). Seriously, I feel the staff is so lazy here. They’re always sitting around playing and not checking up on customers. When I do come with other people, we always have to go up to the bar to ask for things since they’re all sitting and playing on their phones. The only reason I come here as opposed to other shops is because it’s always empty AF and quiet because they have no customers(someone please explain to me how they’re still in business bc I don’t get it). It’s a great place to catch up with friends or study because of those reasons. Sooo, if you have low standards and don’t like quality tea or service, come here!

I ordered a pot of tea and it came out with a little set up to keep your tea hot while you sit here. I also like the furniture and the décor here. Very modern! However, the music they play is very tasteless, offensive, and unprofessional. The content is not kid friendly, it has VERYFOULLANGUAGE, and isn’t kid friendly ATALL! I will definitely not be back here to sit and work. It was hard to concentrate. I’m very disappointed in this place. :-\

Located in a plaza with Momo Bakery, Yi Mei and Luscious Dumpling, specifically next door to Shanghai Gourmet with plenty of parking. I came by here to meet a friend last Tuesday around 1:30 pm. We just wanted to catch up with some tea(especially on this cold afternoon). When we came in, we were immediately greeted by a male employee. He asked if we it was two for here. I told him that we it was for here and so he brought us menus and told us to sit anywhere. After browsing through the menu, we ended up getting: Taro Milk Tea, $ 4.25 prior to tax– I ordered this drink hot. Because I have never been to this tea house before, by looking at the menu, I wasn’t sure if this tea could be made with black tea. I figured that it could be an option since I saw that green tea was written in parenthesis. When the guy took my order, he said that if you just order«taro milk tea» it automatically comes made with black tea. But if you order taro milk green tea, it will be made with green tea. Anyways, I ordered this tea with 25% sugar only and thought it tasted just fine at that lower amount of sugar and would order it again, especially with that amount of sugar. Rose Milk Tea, $ 5.75 prior to tax– My friend ordered this hot, which came in a tea pot. And just like my drink, you can also order this made with green tea if you are not a fan of black tea. And because this tea is made with a powder, my friend could not request for it to be made with less sugar. I had some of her tea and thought it was good, but a little bit on the sweet side for my liking. — — — — — — - (Total= $ 10.90 after tax, prior to tip) I was a little surprised to see that my friend’s rose milk tea cost more than mine(I paid for our tea and didn’t see the tea until I got the bill). Anyways, my friend and I ended up staying at ID Cha House for 4 hours(wow that’s a long time!). With only a handful of people in this place, the employees never tried to get rid of us or tell us to order more items in order to stay. When we first arrived, it was rather dark inside. Eventually when it started to get dark outside, the lights eventually went on. I thought that was odd and wished they had the lights on earlier, but I guess it is to save on electricity(especially since it was pretty empty when we came). But despite that, I still enjoyed my visit here. There are games available in case you want to play them. Also the Wifi here was pretty fast. The woman’s restroom was clean and adequately stocked with the essentials upon this visit. But the sign on top of the toilet was funny«Sign in woman’s restroom above toilet«Don’t kick the toilet. he’s weak just like your bf(?). if you still mad, go run two round =) «(Lol, Chinese people and their English). Would come back here again in the future. By the way, they take credit card(without any minimum) and do not charge a transaction fee(pretty rare for Chinese tea houses). Don’t forget to get a stamp card.

My friends and I stayed here for 10+ hours! Awesomeeeee! Free WiFi. One with password which is just their phone number, and the other with no password. Weird waitress. I would suggest to one of the waitress next time to bring a pen and a note pad to take down the order because she seemed very forgetful. My friend ordered food when she first walked in. We were right in guessing that she forgot to tell the kitchen about our appetizer. Other than that this place is pretty neat in that it’s relatively empty from 12pm-6pm. It starts to get crowded around 630ish with asian teeny boppers. No music played until more people show up so it was a nice &quiet environment. Outlets all over the floor. Makes things pretty messy… they should secure it to the booth or something so that the outlet isn’t being kicked around all day. Wall décor peeling off the walls. Clean bathroom a plus.

Three of my favorites in this shopping plaza. I am surprised I haven’t ever written a review for ID Cha. My mistake in overlooking this. Recently become a fan of milk teas. Their milk tea is perfect. It’s not too sweet and not too watered down. I love their slushies too. I get to enjoy stopping here whenever I pass through the area. It’s a spacious hangout as well. Always quiet so I could see this being a great hangout or study spot. So many more delicious treats to still try. Be careful of their front door though, it swung out from my grasp one time and ripped out one of my toenails that got caught under the heavy door. OUCH… Staff was attentive though and tried to help me recover from that.

I love the mini beef hot pot in kimchi soup($ 13.99). It has quite a generous portion of ingredients like cabbage, eggs, fish rice, ricecake, tanghoon, beef, corn, pumpkin and etc, served with white rice. Popcorn chicken with rice is pretty good too. The chicken is very flavorful. Great ambience, quiet and cosy, service is pretty good too! =)

The location is really big and it was pretty empty on a weekday, maybe because it was during summer or because the prices on average are 20% more than most other«boba places» two large drinks came out to $ 12 and some change, and potentially more for you depending on the type of drink and the toppings you add. We had the Citron Honey Green Tea with Lychee Jelly and Lychee Green Tea with Lychee Jelly and both were really good. The Citron Tea was a little bit sweeter, maybe to counteract the slight bitter taste of the citron. We really enjoyed both drinks. The best thing about this place is how spacious it is, the clean dining areas and restrooms(separate male and female restroom), as well as their service. This is a good study place if you don’t want to be bothered because the staff will generally not bother you and keep asking you to order drinks or food periodically. They will let you order at your own pace and let you do your own thing. Some people may say this is not good customer service because they are not attentive enough, but when I’m usually at a boba place, I usually spend time studying or talking to friends, so I don’t want to be bothered anyway. They have stamp cards! Final Note: Although the prices are a little more expensive, you pay for the variety of seating options available, the quiet atmosphere, the servers who don’t bother you ever hour to order. Overall, for tea, it’s kind of like Starbucks in that you do your own thing without being bothered, but just a lot less crowded. Tea is also good for you!

My boyfriend and I went to try this place out since it was close to his place. This place is really nice and a great place to hang out with friends or to have study sessions. The restaurant is always clean, there’s various tvs to watch whatever they have on, and they play a lot asian music My boyfriend got the popcorn chicken with a side of rice and little various sides — to me the chicken seem too salty for me but my boyfriend seemed to be okay with the food. I ordered the Spicy Beef Noodle Soup — it was quite delicious, the right amount of spice to it where it’s not too overly spicy, and the beef was very tender. The noodle soup was pretty big and so I wasn’t able to finish it, but I did take it home to finish it later. I’d come back to have a cup of tea r some dessert to hang out with friends or my boyfirend again!

Today was our second time here. We had a party of 6, so one of us decided to ask for a recommendation. All the server said was everything is the same, order whatever makes you happy. All of us just laughed out loud at the situation, so we brushed it off and continued to order. Each one of us made it super clear on how we wanted our drinks. When we got it, it was nothing like it. One of our drinks literally just tasted like it was all syrup and no tea. It was so sweet and gross that it would burn your throat. We also ordered a roasted oolong milk tea, instead we got roasted oolong tea. The server didn’t even bother to change it out for us. He even asked«are you sure you’re not remembering wrong?» Because we thought he was new we decided to spare him the trouble. When it came to closing time, the girl that gave us our check looked like she ate shit. We also realized the guy couldn’t even charge a simple boba milk tea. Instead it was some kind of fancy milk tea with boba. So obviously service isn’t good to begin with, so did you really expect us to tip you more or equal to 15% of the bill?(I don’t think so) When we left she didn’t even bother to say thank you or goodbye even though she did to the customer that left after us. I see why there’s only two or three tables at this pretty spacious store. If giving shit attitude and not knowing what you’re doing is your business motto then I guess you’re doing a pretty darn good of a job!

I came to ID Cha House with a few friends to study. There’s plenty of parking in the square it’s in, and the inside of the place is spacious and modern. If you’re also trying to study, there are plenty of plugs. Just bring a power strip if you’re going to be with a big group. Oh, and of course there is wi-fi! I ordered an Osmanthus Oolong milk tea($ 3.75) after much deliberation. Seriously, their menu was just way too long for me! They have specialty«Horoscope» drinks where you just choose your desired sign and the contents are a surprise. There was also a «Lover» drink section that my friend told me to avoid. I thought the drinks were a bit expensive, because that was the price I paid for a small without any additions. However, I thought their food items were reasonably priced. Can’t comment on how that went, because we were not there to eat. I liked my drink, even though it’s more than what I would usually want to pay. I tried my friend’s Passionfruit tea, and it also tasted good. We didn’t exactly pick the best time to study, because a large group of women came in, took up half of the seats on the other side of the café, and started cackling and«woo!“ing like they were at a bachelorette party. This went on for like an hour, and kept on going after we left. Uhh… I think those ladies have had enough tea to drink, someone please cut them off. All in all, decent place to hang out or study, but the drinks cost a bit more than normal. I saw a sign on the register that said you can get a free upgrade to a large cup if you order take out, so maybe I should do that next time and take my studious butt elsewhere. Drinks: 4, Service: 3, Environment: 4, Price: 2

What I ate: Chocolate brick toast, fries, coffee milk tea Visit date: December 21, 2014 First time? Nope. I love it here at ID Cha House. I think I’ve made a point to visit this place the last few times I’ve visited my parents! Their milk teas are always on point — nice and cold and not too sweet. This time I ordered the coffee milk tea with soy. The head drink maker came over to the table to inform us that the soy was sweeter than normal and that the coffee mix already has milk in it; she wanted to make sure I didn’t have any food allergies or aversions. That was super considerate! I’ve had various food items on their menu from the waffle sandwiches to noodle soups. I’ve liked everything I’ve ordered. I definitely recommend the spicy beef noodle soup! On each visit, I’ve had a pleasant experience with the staff and there is always room to accommodate my party(big or small).
