I called and inquired as to delivery of eyeglasses, as it had been 2 weeks since the order. I had been told it would take 10 to 14 days. Sears called back and said the company said they would arrive Monday or Tuesday (18 days). Now informed there was an inspection problem and they said they would arrive Thursday or Friday (21 – 22 days). Really? Waiting with bated breath. Will be glad when and if they arrived in working order.

I know I’ve heard some bum reviews about this place, but I’ve never had anything but good service. My insurance doesn’t cover optical, so I have to come out of pocket for my specs. I need them to drive, please steer clear of me if I don’t have them on, and to watch tv. I’m too paranoid about poking my eye out to invest in contacts, so glasses are the way to go.
I’m on my 2nd pair of Sears glasses. For simple, no frills lenses they are the way to go. I purchased my last pair during the $ 1 lens sale. I’ve got the most adorable black framed Vogue glasses, love them! Sure my lenses are plastic and they don’t have glare protector, but they work. The total package was just a bit over $ 100, maybe closer to $ 125.
Now when I get married and get killer optical insurance, I may be forced to go elsewhere … I might as well take advantage of the great benefits right?

I went to this place cuz someone told me it was a good place to get your glasses. I will never go back here again. They totally messed up my prescription. When I told them it was wrong they said they filled it exactly the way the doctor had written it. So as I was looking at the script I asked the person to read to me the figures they had. She did and she was wrong. They screwed up. They refused to return my money so I stopped pay on them. All I asked was to be treated fair and I wasn’t. Thumbs down on the optical dept.
