Mountain Mike’s Pizza

My Mother chose Mountain Mikes as herMother’s Day dinner restaurant???
It was her day so we went. Great time. Pizza was great. Staff was super friendly. It was like when we used to go out for pizza as a kid.
Good experience!

They do have real good pizza and quality. My wife and I majority of the time get delivery on Sunday, yes we’re across the street but we like to stay in watching movies with our daughter on that day. The only reason why I didn’t give them 5 stars is we are like I said across the street so maybe a little faster on the delivery. Or maybe I should take my lazy rear across the street and pick it up lol Anyway good well real good pizza you guys keep up the good work you’ll be getting another order from us real soon

The best pizza, and this location is one of the cleanest. We also love the friendly staff. We love to order from this location almost weekly.

Just moved to this side of town so I thought I would try them out. First time was good, then 2^nd time OK but the last 3 times they have been late, and one of those the order was wrong. I think we are done. You had your chance. I tried really hard to like you.

Great tasting pizza with many topping and sauce options! Definitely call to order takeout because they can get ridiculously busy on weekends! I had to wait 35 min for my carry out with no phone call, but they comped me cheeses ticks and we’re super apologetic! Only big name offerings on tap, but they had 805 and a dust bowl ipa in bottles.

Wait time is often long and prices are high unless you have a coupon (which can be a pain to use). Pizza is okay though.

We usually order the same pizza of our own creation, and it is always delicious. So far they have never disappointed us. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is we wish they offered shrimp as a topping. Staff is always friendly. Sometimes we pick up, sometimes we have it delivered, which is a service we appreciate!

I just moved near by this shopping center, and as mentioned, the pizza at Mountain Mikes is always great. BUT I have tried to get pizza from this location 3 times in the last month — Wrong pizza, waiting a long time and bad customer service.
Friday was the final straw — a medium pizza took an hour — AND IT WAS WRONG — to fix the issue, they would need another 8 to 10 minutes, well really more like a half hour since they were behind.
I understand how mistakes are made, but it seems like they don’t care that they get it wrong.
I went back to the location on Orangeburg; and it was perfect, like always

Great customer service at this location! We always come out to family dinner here and absolutely love it. The staff is wonderful, very helpful and friendly. One of the best Mountain Mikes locations in Modesto! Their ingredients always taste fresh and their pizza is amazing!

One of my favorite pizza places in Modesto. Their pizza is always delicious and fresh, whether you eat in, pick up, or get delivery, and all of the staff are very friendly as well. The only reason that I didn’t give five stars is that when we ordered the pizza, they said it would be at my house at 8:10, and at 8:30 I called to ask about how far away it was, and the man was just leaving the store. About half an hour late, and I understand they can get busy on Friday nights, but it would’ve been nice to be told that it might be there a little later than we were told. Other than that, absolutely amazing pizza.

We picked up our pizza tonight after waiting an additional 20 mins. for our pizza to be ready. We brought home doughy uncooked pizza. Sausages were raw. Called and spoke to Mario, Manager stated we could bring the pizza in for another one. Like really… Who wants to wait another hour for a pizza! They couldn’t even deliver a replacement pizza out of courtesy. We spent $ 30 on a pizza that went in the trash can. Won’t be going back. Also, when they ask you to hold, say no, they put you on hold not because they are busy with customers but talking amongst themselves. Thank you Moutain Mikes for ruining our evening!

First timer at this particular parlor came n for Nate that’s my boys birthday party I’ve been to the one on carpenter and was a bit uncertain about this location on account of its in a fancy pants shopping center but nates mom ordered a cake from the raleys there so we figure we’d kill 2 birds with 1 stone and chow down ladies and gents I gotta say the customer service here was outta this darn world particularly the gal that brought out our pies she sure was sweet and took care of me and nates every 1 need I swear she even told Nate happy birthday on multiple occasions and made sure we had plenty a ranch and that our pies were A ok!!! It freaked me out! I felt like a king it plum freaked me out! Place is great pies are mmm mmm mmm good and if yall see this tell Nicole and the pizza boys n gals there n the back thank you from a father n his boy for a birthday dinner and I’ll be sure to be back in two shakes of a lambs tail!!!

We ordered a pizza for delivery at 840 PM A WEEK AGO Saturday: we asked if they accepted their «Pepperoni Card» (a senior discount card). «Yes» we were told. We confirmed our telephone number, address, gave cross-​streets for our delivery (in a gated community); and were told that our pizza would be delivered no later than 9:25 PM, having a house of hungry people (waiting for the Everest, the largest pizza they make). I also asked if the driver gratuity was included in the price: «Yes, it is.»
I get it: stuff happens.
At 9:45, no pizza.
At 10:00, no pizza.
At 10:20, no pizza. I called them up.
«No one at that address ordered a pizza.»
Huh?
«We even called the phone number and the person that answered said they hadn’t ordered a pizza.»
Well, they might not have… BUT WE DID.
Someone got the wrong information transferred to our order. Amazing, especially since we confirmed our cellphone number (6 months old), our address (which we’ve used for the past 20+ years this Mountain Mike’s store has been open) and our cross-​streets (which haven’t changed since this store opened.
They promised that they’d make another pizza and have it to us as soon as possible.
Our guests decided they didn’t want to wait until after 11:00 PM to eat and left. The man I had spoken to said he’d give us a 50% discount for the foul-​up.
The Everest pizza arrived.
No discount.
The tip for the driver was NOT included in their price, according to the driver.
The pizza was 2 hours late. Our hungry guests were all gone.
My wife and I each ate 2 pieces then put some old movies on to watch, fell asleep. Not having nearly enough room in our frig for such a monster pizza, we threw it away the next morning. We should have ordered a small pizza. Actually, we should have gone to Carl’s Jr. for a hamburger — where all out guests went.

Best place for pizza and excellent service and the shift leader Mario Alcantar was very helpful

Longest wait in history! I went in to pick up my pizza at the time they told me it would be ready… Then they said «only a few more minutes.» Well, that turned into 15 so I went up and asked how much longer & again they reassured me that my pizza would be «right out» that turned into another 15 minutes. By then I was upset and went up & told them that if my pizza wasn’t ready soon they could just give me a refund and again they said it would be ready soon, they were «backed up» even tho there were only 2 other families there & had an employee on break. I will not be returning here I would rather drive across town to one that is out of my way because this place was a joke!

Do not come here if you are in a rush… every time I come here, I have to wait for 30 mins for the pizza when it’s not even busy. Service is lacking a bit

Mountain Mikes is typically always good. When you day extra cheese they give it to you. My kids enjoy their cheese sticks. Only problem was their dipping sauce for cheese stick was still frozen but not a big deal.

The pizza is great if you don’t mind waiting twice the quoted time. Also seems kind of dirty inside for how new of a location.
