Papa John’s Pizza

Placed a very large order for my daughters birthday party. We weren’t in a big rush because it was a swim party, but they did run a little late because of the size of the order, They brought us several free 2 liters of soda to make up for being a little late which I thought was a nice gesture.
Everyone loved the pizza and breadsticks. The pizza was hot and tasted great!

They say «better ingredients, better pizza,» and I would have to agree!
FOOD: My go to has to be Spicy Italian and cheesesticks.
OTHER: They always have awesome deals happening and fast delivery.

I have ordered from them (they deliver and are close) easily 10 times.
The first few times were GREAT! Then it appears that all chaos has taken over there. The last few times have been a disaster. Of note… I ordered a pizza for delivery… after an hour and a half of not receiving my pizza I called papa john’s and told them to cancel my order and that I wanted a refund. The manager said he would do so, but he didn’t know why I hadn’t received my pizza yet?! It had been sent out 30 minutes ago (yeah an hour after I ordered it)… This was no holiday… no super bowl. It was a Thursday night. NEEDLESS TO SAY… even after giving my cc# over the phone and being promised a refund, my debit card was STILL charged…
POOR FORM!
I’m going to go back to my old place… Milano Pizza.

I forgot to add… my last delivery, I paid for extra peppers… I love the things… I RECEIVED 1… YES…ONE PEPPER!!! One pepper wrapped in aluminum foil. I literally laughed when I opened it.

Blah! I opted for delivery and my pizza tasted like it had sat around for while before being delivered. I got a large pizza, cheese sticks, and some flavorless chicken nugget like things that were so bad my 2 year old wouldn’t eat them! Pizza lacked toppings and the «garlic» sauce was horrible. Cheese sticks were cold and congealed. Just bad bad bad
Edit: they were willing to refund our money so I do appreciate that. I upped it 1 star for the customer service

Great service, good pizza, and fast delivery. Always have specials or coupons on Internet or emails and save alot. You have to try the chicken poppers with an order they are great.
