Jack in the Box

Ordinarily, I don’t have any problems with this location, but a couple of weeks ago, I came to this location for dinner. I ordered a Southwest Grilled Chicken salad, but the lady who took my order wasn’t sure if she had any salads left at all. They did, but all I got was a measly garden salad with grilled chicken. I asked her why they didn’t have any left, and she said it’s because «it was hot outside, more people were ordering salads, and they only make so many.» Well, logic would dictate you make more salads to compensate for increased demand! This was piss poor planning on their part.

OK so when I have bad service I am a sucker and give a place another chance… I usually regret it and I do regret checking them out again.
The first crappy window service the chick forgot to pu t the lid on my drink and when I said something she pretended to adjust it and when I took the cup from her the entire drink spilled along the side of my car. She kinda snickered then turned away. I know she was laughing. She came back with another soda. Didn’t really apologize just smiled a bit and said wow I don’t know how that happened like it was a joke!!!
I was craving their Sriracha burger and went back a few months later. incident 2– the chick was totally confused while taking my order. there were a few cars in line, just like 3. One of the drivers were having a long conversation with her and drove off with no bags. I think she jacked up their order and they took off. When I get up to the window the girl was confused and on the verge of t3ars. She kept asking the lady behind her what to do. I guess the car leaving messed up the order of tickets and she couldn’t handle it. Of course when I got home my order was wrong and missing items. Not going back to this location no matter what kind of Jack in the Box cravings I happen to get in the future.

Today I was in a rush to eat and had Jack in the box coupons in the car. Stopped here to get a Double Jack burger, small fries and a peach iced tea for $ 5.38. When I ordered I let the girl know that I had a coupon and gave her the code. When I handed her the cash, she said keep the coupon I already put in the code. You can use it again. AWWWW! Thought that was sweet. Then when she handed me my food she let me know that the fries just came out of the fryer so please be careful, what a sweetheart. Looked on my receipt to find out her name is Melissa, wow Melissa you are very sweet girl looking out for the customers. If I’m ever in the area and need a quick bite again I hope to see you again. Keep up the great customer service Melissa, you will go far.

If I could give a zero star I would! We waited at the counter (with a baby) for over 5 minutes and was never helped! They didn’t even agknolage that we were standing there! We walked out and I’ll never go back to that location again. Down right rude.

After a very long day, mentally and emotionally. All business was taken care of so we called it a day. We hit the road back home to the Bay Area. I must say visitthis is by far THE BEST service I’ve had in probably ummmmm forever! from jack in the the Bay Area. The staff was beyond amazing. They were polite and interacted with our kids as we were deciding and then ordering our food. 6 people with 6 orders that were unique no tomatoes — extras onions etc… and every order was correct, food was hot, especially the fries. The environment was warm and friendly, bathroom was clean. Very impressed. This is how it should be at all times at every restaurant. Unfortunately this is the exception, not the rule.

Normally I wouldn’t even think about writing a fast food review but a couple things stood out to me the other night.
I ordered the jacks spicy chicken. Normally I’m pretty cheap and just get value menu items, but eh, why not spend $ 7+ and get a combo tonight. Well I should’ve just gotten the regular $ 1 something sandwich because it would’ve had more chicken! Idk why but I was like realllly? This is it? So much fried crap! Should’ve stuck with what I know.
The lady at the drive thru was genuinely nice and gave us extra napkins and another drink when we spilled ours after driving away. And that’s why you’re getting 3 stars jack! Because the girl with blue hair is great!

In a word, terrible.

Every time that I forget lessons learned from Jack, the clown always has a way of reminding me that the best part of eating here has been the clever and amusing ads on the television.

I have frequented this jack a couple hundred times since it has opened. I’d say its the best jack I’ve been to. There are the occasional people working that make you want to enroll in becoming a specialist in selective gene therapy. For the most part though its clean, professional and quick. Good food. Good times.
