I LOVE Mediterranean Sandwich Co. This is one of my favorite eats in town. I’ve never heard a bad word about it. Good friendly service, fair prices, and amazing food. I could literally eat here everyday and never get tired of it. Its fresh Mediterranean food and I HIGHLY recommend it. They have a down town location, and one on Schillinger Road so you’re never too far away from one.

They don’t skimp on the more expensive ingredients, which I really appreciated. My gyro was overflowing with deliciousness. You get what you ordered, and it’s amazing.

Stopped for lunch while traveling, the food was great! I had the chicken gyro and my husband had the beef and lamb gyro. Both came out very quickly and we hot and fresh! I had the tomato orzo that comes with the meal, it was good. My husband had the spinach and bacon orzo, the only thing we weren’t crazy about. The service was great! Everyone was very friendly and helpful! Great for a quick lunch that is fresh and yummy!

100% amazing. I had the philly chicken chicken and melts in your mouth. Everything about this place is awesome. The prices are great, every item we got was absolutely yummy. Will I be begging my husband to drive us all the way back to Mobile just for this place? Yup.

Ate here after checking Unilocal for something close to our hotel. So worth the five minute walk. I tried the Redneck Gyro with half a Greek salad. Te He wife had the veggie gyro. Both were fabulous. Meat was tender and bread toasty but soft. Fast service. The good reviews I read were well founded and deserved.

The taziki dip was absolutely amazing. Great spices on the pita bread and the dip paired well. The cheesy kabob was full of flavor. The gyro, however, was lacking the flavor that the other dishes had. It couldn’t quite reach the stage that had been set. Cute atmosphere, nice and cozy. Service was polite. Prices were great.

One star for the bad food and the unpleasant customer service. The food was a salty, hot mess. Undercooked, mushy half“baked” falafel burger with a very strong, raw cumin flavor. The gyro comes from a frozen stick, and it’s super salty. The meat was sparse and smothered in ranch sauce that was supposed to be yogurt greek sauce. It’s like eating hot bread with ranch on it. You get some salad, tomato, and if you are lucky the occasional meat piece. The boy behind the counter would ask for 55 cents for«free tap water» and he would argue with you if you express any surprise, yet alone objections to it. If he has run your card before you ask for the water you don’t get the water…(even if willing to pay for it; you just get his rationale for the 55cent cost; obviously enjoying his job). Busy establishment. Full of college aged kids. Its high rating deterred us from trying other local restaurants in the area. The main strip wad dead at 6:30−7 pm on a Saturday night.

Came in town for a business trip and stopped by for a late lunch. Was fantastic and I will be sure to return if ever I am in Mobile or passing through.

Really good fast casual Greek food. I had the gyro sandwich and the pita was really good. My husband had a combo plate and it was really good as well. He ended up buying two bottles of the harissa sauce on the table because he said it was amazingly good. I’m only giving it four stars because the water coming from the fountain was terrible and gave even the soda an awful aftertaste. I’d invest in a filter for that nasty water. If there was one in New Orleans, we’d go often.

Small but good place to have lunch if you want to avoid the big highway chains. Yummy chicken shawarma!

Ok. I had heard so much hype from a friend, Benton Parrot, that this place was the bomb diggity. This was before we had one in Daphne. When Meditteranean Sandwich Co. opened in Daphne, after a week or two of opening, we gave it a try. I absolutely LOVE Tzatziki sauce more than the average person. Meaning A WHOLELOT. I have never wavered from my original order. That would be the Redneck Gyro. The first time or two, I ordered my usual and my boyfriend tried different things. Mine was good and he wasn’t SUPERIMPRESSED.(He is a chef and that’s someone hard to please.) HOWEVER, I think they finally got their ducks all in a row. I now order the Redneck minus lamb and add chicken. OMG. Soooooo much better. He tried the Red Rooster or something like that and said it was super tasty. That was last week. This week, I ordered my usual for him and myself. We always also order the Tzatziki Dip with feta and extra pita. That could be a meal in itself. I’m not super crazy about the sides, orzo, jasmine rice, etc. However, the gyros are filling in itself. The Tzatziki dip is just for extra gluttony. But I LOVEITSOVERYMUCH. Keep on keeping on, MSC, you guys are doing a great job. P. S. Any way you could add a Greek pasta salad to the menu. Thanks again, I think I could eat there every night.

I visited this restaurant because of the Unilocal reviews. The meal was decent, but did not seem to be anything special to me. It was kind of dry Jamaican lamb kebab. About an hour later, my stomach was not too happy. I don’t think that was a coincidence. Better safe than sorry. I don’t think I’ll return.

I got the chicken shawarma sandwich and it had the best flavor. A good place to eat if you are ever in downtown Mobile. The restaurant is old but the service was fast, helpful, and kind. It was authentic tasting and a perfect spot for lunch!

Passing through Mobile, we were looking for something quick and light, and MSC was one of the few places that fit the bill. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered: Mixed Grill, Portabella, and the Gyro. In addition to wraps, they have salads, soup, dips, and desserts. Their downtown space is small and divey, and the music reminded me of Guitar Hero. Parking could be tricky, but we managed it just fine.

Stayed in Mobile on Friday night and picked this place to eat based on Unilocal. NOT disappointed. Kind of a hole in the wall dive but the portabello gyro was *awesome. If I lived there I’d probably be at this place at least a couple times a week.

I needed a MSC gyro to erase the disgusting shrimp order from Bob’s Downtown. You can always count on the quality and flavor of their food. The tomato spinach orzo is rich so the $ 0.99 add-on is just perfect. My favorites are the Gyro and the Samurai Chicken as panini, not as a wrap. I don’t eat in the restaurant because it can be smoky inside. I did not like returning to the office smelling like I’ve worked the grill at lunch.

Was just passing through and saw the great reviews on Unilocal. The location is historic downtown Mobile. You order at the counter then they bring you the food. Service was fast and friendly. Casual atmosphere. Got 2 different flat bread sandwiches and both were their own unique combination of flavorful melty-meaty-warm deliciousness. Would absolutely go back again

This place well deserves their«people love us on Unilocal» sticker. Ok, this time I remember what I ate. I had the«Red Rooster» flat bread. It has chicken, conecuh sausage, peppers, onions and of course hot rooster sauce(whatever that is). I was sold on their sandwich for the simple reason of conecuh on it. Adding a side only cost 99 cent extras. Next time your in Daupin St., don’t pass this place up
