They have the best baklava in town. I tried baklava almost every place in Mobile but nothing beats their taste.

My daughters and I adored the restaurant on Old Shell, so we decided to try the newer location on Bit and Spur. The décor was beautiful and the food was excellent. The owner is very friendly and makes customers feel right at home.

This was possibly the most abysmal dining experience I’ve ever endured. After being served soup made with chicken(after asking the waiter if it was vegetarian), having drinks dropped on us, wrong dishes served, and food being completely forgotten, along with a member of our party having to break up our own checks because the manager refused, the manager then came out again to yell aggressively at our table about us needing to pay for food that was never served. It felt as though we were being held hostage by the most absurd plethora of comedic foolishness usually reserved for Shakespearean plays. However, if you still feel the need to experience this for yourself, I suggest ordering to go, getting the hummus(which is, indeed, delicious), and maybe having several bottles of wine on hand to handle the stress.

They have moved to Bit and Spur in Spring Hill. The service was outstanding and food was excellent. The atmosphere is lacking but the food and service make up for that. The owner is extremely friendly and spoke to us but was not pestering. We’ll be back for sure.

Tried this place out yesterday. The food was pretty good, but not great. The atmosphere was a bit awkward. I felt like they didn’t really want us there.
