Very nice and mostly clean. I did find a couple hairs and a bobby pin and part of a piece of popcorn in the bed, but I brought my concerns to the attention of the manager when I checked out, and she seemed concerned and appreciative of the feedback. The place was otherwise a very nice environment in downtown Mobile. Also, Marcy was very friendly when I checked in the first night.

Pet Unfriendly Hotel. Beware. As a platinum member with IHL I’ve stayed at many of their «pet friendly» brands including Staybridge, Candlewood and a few HI Express.
However, this property charges $ 75 for 1 pet for only one night. There is no other hotel — including all Candlewood Properties w/​in 4 states that charge a higher fee.
Plus, Staybridge and Candlewood give you half the points of other brands within IHL.
The manager will reply that this is their «standard» and blah blah about their cleaning process. Yet answer this MS manager, why do you charge more than other Candlewoods?

Mobile, AL
This is my extended stay hotel of choice in Mobile. They have a great location in close proximity to downtown Mobile. The rooms are comfortable and it’s easy to cook a meal in your room or head down to the patio and fire up one of the grills and play a few games of cornhole by the fire pit. The staff is super friendly and accommodating and will go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. The only slightest complaint would be parking is a little scarce on the weekends, and it would be nice to have a small continental breakfast during the week. This is one of my favorite homes away from home!

The hotel was very clean. the suites were nice. we stayed 3 nights in one of the standard suites. The staff was very friendly. The hotel is located down town in a primo area. The hotel has free wifi and a parking lot. Lots of restaurants and things in the area to see. The rooms are very inexpensive for what you get.
