Food was delicious! Our server was a sweetheart and the blue salt on the margaritas was fun! Really good Mexican food(the rice was amazing). Can’t wait to go back!

Sweet hostess changed our table to cooler area with no issues, very kind server who knew when he put my kid’s burrito down that he made a mistake and he immediately took it away and had it made without cheese. Salsa not very spicy but full of cilantro which I like. Chicken taco plate served with flour tortillas which works great for me. Chicken was plentiful and moist. Beans and rice were ok as well. Husband had grilled fish burrito which he said was great. In a town where food choices are few and/or expensive(??), this is a great choice for families and a very good choice for Mexican food.

Really disappointed. Had high hopes for this after review. My Sons shrimp enchilada was very tasty, as was margarita. My portabello mushroom enchilada loaded with green peppers. They were not on menu. I loath them! When I complained, Rafaela server argued. She came back and finally agreed she saw the mistake on menu but did not take off bill as I told her my meal ruined. Bad form!

Not the best looking exterior but don’t let that fool you. Clean, great service, reasonable prices and most important of all the food was excellent. Great attention to detail. Heading back there before we leave town for sure!

The wait was long the food was not good. If you do not like authentic Mexican food this is the place for you. Also if you enjoy small and expensive margaritas you will also love this place. If you like authentic Mexican food go somewhere else for sure. This is more along the lines of Tex-Mex. safe

I never wrote review but this time I’m too angry to say anything good about them. Worst restaurant I’ve even been. Staff are all teen, rude and untrained. So here is the thing. We are traveling with group of six people and looking for a restaurant at 9:30 when almost no restaurants are open, so we tried this one. When we going into the restaurant, there is nobody waiting and staff saw us said will looking for table. Then we just sit back there in the chairs they put. More people are coming in. A group of four came in and the staff asked: group of six? So I answered: here is the group of six and the staff nodded at me and put them on the waiting list and give them menu. So I was confused-we didn’t get the menu. When I asked for menu the young boy said: we are not taking any more guests cuz we are closing. Well that doesn’t make sense at all! How could people came after us be seated but not us. So I argued but the stuff whispered to another stuff: CAN I GETTHEGUN? Ok. So this is the restaurant where you want to eat rationally but the staff want to SHOTYOU. Hmmm. Interesting. Not let them ruin your trip. AVIODTHISRESTAURANTATANYCOST.

This place was full & over flowing Saturday evening so I returned early Sunday evening. Interesting setup – narrow in front with square room in back. Staff friendly & efficient. The chips were very light like potatoes chips and the salsa lacked any bite. I ordered the twin enchiladas with jack cheese, chicken & mole sauce; rice & refried beans were included. The small enchiladas were hidden under the melted cheese & sauce. There was no option for«fresh» beans. But then most Americans think refried beans are essential to Mexican food.

Really enjoyed our meal — great food and service. We started with the pork taquitos and shared the lamb tacos and baja fish tacos for our mains. The tacos were really delicious — I’ve never had lamb tacos before, and really liked them. One of our best meals in Moab!

Good, almost authentic, Mexican food typical for Baja California. I had the lamb tacos which tasted very good. Other members of our group had fish tacos and fajitas and we all came out satisfied from the dinner. Our server, Javier, was very attentive and courteous. Food was served fast and warm. A good place to have dinner when visiting Moab!

Looking forward to the next opportunity to eat here. Top shelf margs were worth the price. Carne Asada and Baja fish tacos not bad at all. The roasted jalapenos they came with for adding some heat were nice. Key lime pie and fried ice cream(with a mango sauce topping) for dessert were decent. Fast and friendly service and the location is better within than the frontage might make you think.

In one word — great! Tasty food, great drinks and Javier was an awesome server! We came later in the evening, mid week, so had no wait but reportedly it was busier in the evening.

The salsa was really mild, so all our kids ate it, plus it had good flavor. I ordered the fish tacos, which I thought were average. My husband had the enchiladas with lamb, and those were incredible. The lamb was very flavorful, and not like anything else I’ve had at a Mexican restaurant. I did feel like the two steak tacos dish was a little overpriced, costing the same as the specialty items we ordered. Our waiter, Collin, was fabulous. He accommodated our request of nachos made from just chips and cheese for our kids, even though it wasn’t on the menu. Plus, he was always running between his tables, which were pretty far apart, in order to give quicker service.

All the food here is fresh, and tastes like it. Yummy margaritas, salsa, chips, beans, rice(yep, even the rice and beans are good — when does that ever happen at a Mexican restaurant?!). We had fish tacos and we’re impressed. The wonderful couple from the trading post a few doors down from Miguel’s recommend it for dinner, and I am thankful! Best place I have eaten in Moab for dinner, and the freshest Mexican I’ve had in I don’t know how long. Recommend making reservations, although the wait doesn’t seem too long. Adorable open-air eating area.

My Dad would like everyone to know that he’s sorry that he judged this book by its tiny cover and he further wants the viewing public to know that the food and drinks here are awesome and he very specifically mentioned how great our server, Javier, is. In other words, that I was right and he was wrong. I’d personally like to rave about the ridiculously delicious fish tacos — fried — and the super fresh house marg with the pretty blue rim, and the completely addicting salsa. The four of us didn’t get to try the potato flautas that someone else reviewed(they caught our eyes), but the coconut flan, oh man. Word to the wise, if you’re a veggie like my cutie pie BF, you’ll want to know that their yummy rice is made with chicken stock, so pipe up and mention it when you order. Now take my Dad’s word for it: Miguel’s is small and unassuming from the outside, but just your kind of colorful, comfy, and delectable on the inside. Thanks, Moab!

I stopped into Miguel’s with a large group about an hour before closing time, and we were seated quickly. The restaurant has a unique layout, with a long, narrow, semi-enclosed seating area up front, which then opens up into a dining room and kitchen in the back. Overall, it’s a small restaurant but they make good use of the space. Service was prompt and friendly and they brought chips and salsa out as we were sitting down. The salsa was fresh, though quite mild. We also ordered some guacamole. It was tomato heavy, and under-salted for some but I liked the fresh taste. For my entrée, I went with the carne asada tacos and they were very good with a nice portion of tender beef and toppings on the side. The rice and beans were also tasty. I had a margarita, and they rim the glass with blue salt which was an interesting touch. Overall, a solid choice for Mexican in Moab!

Famished after a long day of hiking, Miguel’s provided the relaxed cool down my wife and I were needing. We sat down to chips and salsa served warm while the sun was dropping along with the temperature. Seated in what appeared to be a patio area, we remained warm and comfortable throughout the meal. Opening with a couple cervezas we ordered our entrees and were surprised at how generous the portions were. Fajitas and floutas were our treat for a hard days work. Splitting our meals, we could only get half way through the table now filled with plates of tortillas, beer bottles, chips and salsa, steak and chicken, beans, rice and much self doubt. «Did we actually think we were going to be able to eat all this?» Surely this is a common story — 8 hours of hiking through Arches with only a few snack bars along the way, you’re bound to have a gigantic appetite. Now worries though, we bagged up the leftovers and enjoyed them on the road the next day. Charming place, great staff and tasty food. A sure bet!

Good Mexican in Moab! I’m still dreaming about the potato Flautas. I wanted to go back on our last night to have them again. Our other dishes were really good too: avocado toastada & kids burrito. Love the ambiance — it’s a quirky little place that looks like it is tented in between 2 buildings. Long and narrow but somehow works to feel homey. We’ve been there before and will be back again.

Bad Baja! We wanted to like this place but didn’t. We passed up other really good restaurants to go here and in the end, we would have had a better meal at Wendy’s for 1⁄3 of the price. Why? The guacamole was bland and tasteless. We poured hot sauce on it and mixed in salsa to no avail. How can you mess up guacamole? We ordered the fajitas and the carne asada tacos. The fajitas were nothing special. No sizzling platter and not a lot of spice. They tasted like something you would get in a hospital cafeteria. The tacos were OK, just meat inside of flour tortillas. They came with the bland guacamole and rice and beans. No cheese and no shredded lettuce. The margarita I ordered was watered down and had blue salt — gross. The chips and salsa were good and the service was good. Hence the two stars. We will not return.

I came here for dinner alone, so I could fill out postcards. I decided on the mushroom enchiladas before I even sat down. Everyone who worked at Miguel’s was very happy to be there and seemed to really enjoy their job. The waiter Javier was really knowledgable and engaged with every customer. The busser’s were cutie nervous sixteen year old boys who steadily kept my water cup filled. The crowd was mostly families on vacation, and couples staring awkwardly at one another. The food was good, the servings were big. The chips and salsa were by far my favorite thing. The enchiladas were good but next time I may get a quesadilla.
