Closed. Their Facebook says they are relocating to Houston.
Not sure what’s going in there next, but the sign is down and the place looks empty.

Been here twice now.
Please, please, PLEASE invest in a changing station for that HUGE ladies restroom!!!
Ugh. I hate places with poor facilities!
Food was ok, chicken salad was yummy, messy and plentiful. The dressing for the side salad was delicious.
Cupcakes are slightly north of average, ok selection, diverse flavours.
Nice interior, quite small, a bit overpriced, but the staff are absolutely lovely.

Extremely disappointed! To start off, the food was not worth the price; I ordered the waffles and they tasted like something I could get elsewhere for less. And to make matters worse, I found FOUR hair follicles in my dish. Will not be returning, and will not be recommending.

My family and I stopped there for breakfast Oh it was awesome the staff décor and food are off the chain.

I had the pork chop breakfast and I was delicious. Service was good but the food took a while to get out (it was worth it). I bought some cupcakes to go. They look beautiful but after I had them the frosting was not true butter cream. The décor is nice inside. I sat outside cause my friend had her dog. They have water bowls with fiji water for dogs. Overall a great experience with great with some minor flaws.

Chocolate Drop Café has an interesting design and theme. I can definitely see this place being rented out for a girl’s birthday party because of the chandeliers and pink walls.
The main draw to eat here would be the cupcakes based on the design. They were sweet and had different toppings.
I really thought the sandwiches were tasty as well. The chicken salad sandwich was great! It was chunky and flavorful. It came with a side of homemade chips. The cashier acts as the waiter when you order food as this is really not a full fledged sit down restaurant. When we went, the waiter was very nice, and the chef even came out and spoke with us.

The best coffee shop I’ve ever been to. No complaints. Service is perfect, food is very tasty, and the coffee is perfect. Beautiful setting with the chandeliers. Also quiet and relaxing.

I’m going to be very honest!!! The cupcake are horrible !!! Now I’ve tried the pork chop breakfast it’s pretty good and the eggs are really good. That being said the grits, hash browns and toast are awful !! You have to wait at least 30 minutes and the prices are high in relation to the portions. Service is ok not bad or good. Iced coffee pretty ok. They really need to improve and step up their game

They recently added Sunday brunch and it is delicious! My favorite was the crawfish étouffée and fleur de lis waffles. The cupcakes are a added bonus. The service was great and the interior is beautiful. The only thing negative is the size of the restaurant. We had to wait a significant amount of time to be seated because there only a few tables, but well worth the wait!

My first visit was this past Sunday for brunch. The place is so pretty and posh, the service and staff great, and the food good. My only suggestion would be to add a price to your advertisements as we didn’t know what the brunch price was until we stepped up to the register. It seems like you all will need a bigger space soon, as it was steadily packed while I was there. I didn’t get to try one of the cupcakes because I was so full but they sure did look delicious! Overall, very pleased with my first visit.

My family and I went to the Chocolate Drop Café’ this morning for their Sunday Jazz Brunch. The restaurant has a cozy and relaxed atmosphere, and the owner and his staff were very friendly and accommodating. Today’s menu had a wide range of tasty food selections. We enjoyed a variety of items including made-​to-​order omelets, chicken sausage, Fleur de Lis waffles, croissants, fruit, salads, and sinfully good cupcakes, beignets and other desserts. Today’s menu featured a blueberry mojito that was absolutely wonderful! We will definitely be going back to this restaurant again.

I ABSOLUTELY love this café!!! Every dish that I’ve tried has been delicious. The restaurant’s décor was gorgeous.
I really don’t understand why there would be any negative reviews about Chocolate Drop because every time I’ve visited the location, the service and food has been great. The staff is wonderful and the atmosphere is very nice. I will definitely visit Chocolate Drop Café and will continue to try various dishes on the menu.
Every time I try a dish, I say that it’s my favorite until I try another one!!! I tried the Fleur De Lis Breakfast recently and now I’m contemplating what’s next on the menu that will top that??? The waffle that’s served is so nicely done that I really could eat it without honey/​syrup! This place is AWESOME!!!
Let me not forget the mouth watering cupcakes!!! I enjoyed the white chocolate raspberry cupcake and all I can say is UMMM UMMM GOOD!!!

This place was a very pleasant surprise! The staff was extremely nice and welcoming and outgoing. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the chicken salad sandwich and it was good! The wedding cake and chocolate cupcakes are VERY very sweet, but tasty! Cupcakes are a bit highly priced like the major competitors, which I think they should be less since it ain’t Crave or Sprinkles, but that’s ok. I would come here to study and have coffee. Limited seating– but makes the place looked packed when it’s lunch hour. Cute inside too!

So impressed with the unique and chic décor! From the moment we arrived, the staff was so welcoming, friendly and accommodating for a large birthday brunch– coffee menu– top notch and creative! Breakfast menu offered THE BEST omelet I’ve had in awhile! And to top if all off with wedding cake cupcake left all of us loving this little place! Will be back and recommend this place to anyone!

CDC was an amazing mix of real flavors and rustic tastes. The décor was gorgeous and screamed what you would expect from a place called Chocolate Drop.
Luckily, I was with my girls and was able to taste a little bit of everything on this trip.
Soup of the Day: Rustic Potato– This potato soup had slight Spanish flair that reminded me of my grandmother’s caldo base. The potatos melted in my mouth and you really were able to taste the flavors of the ingredients not overpowered by salt.
Shrimp and Grits: The Grits were cooked perfectly. The shrimp had a cajun flair and the seasoning was very liberal and gave the grits a nice cajun touch which was incredible.
Fleur de Lis Waffle: I only was able to steal two bites since my daughter was all over this. The waffle was cooked wonderfully and had an amazing notes of flavors that I couldn’t really figure out but it was necessary as it tasted very well.
Eggs were cooked to requested over medium with a beautiful yolk spilling into the plate.
Now we did try the cupcakes as well and they were amazing. The raspberry white chocolate was my favorite with the raspberry filling. The strawberry was also delicious. The Oreo cupcake was also delicious. all the cakes were soft and moist.
Staff was friendly and the chef even came out to ask if everything was to my liking!
I can’t wait to go again and have a girls’ brunch soon!

I have been here several times for breakfast and, of course, to indulge in their cupcakes. In all instances, the food has been delicious. I love a chef that’s not afraid to season their food. The shrimp & grits and petite pork chop breakfast flavors are divine. Eggs were cooked to perfection. And what’s breakfast without adding some gourmet cupcakes to the mix? My daughter raved about her mint chocolate and pistachio cupcake and I will do the same about the white chocolate and raspberry filled decadent morsel I enjoyed. I can’t wait to try their lunch offerings. In short, go here. Indulge. You won’t be disappointed.

Super cute place and décor. The staff was very friendly and helpful. BUT the coffee I ordered taste soo bad. I had a 16 oz cappuccino, I only had couple sips and I had to throw the rest of away. Either the milk was oversteamed or had already gone bad, the drink had a very strange smell and taste. I have had cappuccino many many times before, none tasted like this one. I’m disappointed!

I stopped in one Saturday morning after passing this place several times. Great interior and nice service. I got the breakfast croissant and it was ok — nothing overly fabulous but if I’m not cooking, it does the trick! I didn’t try any of the baked goods but I will likely return to give a cupcake or two a try.

I’m not sure what the «disappointed reviewer» was expecting but I looooove this place.
First, the muffins are amazing. My favorite is the chocolate.
Second, the cupcakes are beautifully decorated and are simply divine.
Third, the service and attention to detail are amazing. Every little touch is impressive. Even when I buy one muffin, it is cradles in beautiful paper and a charming little box.
Last, they’re not a full restaurant ~ but I’ve had their breakfast Quesadilla and it was quite yummy.
Not to mention the décor is charmingly chic.
I’m a fan!
