Waited 20 minutes for help ordering cabinets. 2 saw and looked at me, no help. Took my 5000 $ cabinet order to Home Depot

Extended service plans. We bought a Kitchenaid DWasher. Problem about one year in. WE had the extended warranty. Just before Xmas 2015 the DW stopped. Two weeks later after a couple of calls an independent service man shows up. Says the motor has a bad spot in it. Got it working by tapping the motor housing. He would have to order parts. He explained that the independent service guys stock no parts. Feb 11 he finally shows up. So we had a sometimes working dishwasher for 6 weeks. I find this level of Lowes service to be way below par. The serviceman was fine, he has to work within the system he has. Interesting that when we called for service LOwes had no record that we had bought an extended warranty. So you better have your paperwork handy. I feel they may do this on purpose. No paperwork no record, no service. More profits.

If given the choice in KC to shop Lowe’s or Home Depot, I choose Lowe’s. I’m always able to find help(or they find me), their prices are better, and selection is great.

Stoic customer service, not sure I’ve excpernced quite this level of neutrality. Like they didn’t want to commit to the search. Even though they have a lot of stuff, they sometimes don’t have what I need. They can be pricey so if Im willing to wait Amazon it is. Paint department was pretty cool. Helpful although I’m not sure he’d been there long. Nice big parking lot, big nice clean store with clean restrooms to boot.

I seem to come here a lot less than Home Depot, but I really don’t know why. They’re about as close to home as Home Depot, just in another direction. The store is pretty well laid out and doesn’t tend to be as crazy busy as the Home Depot we go to, so that’s a positive. One negative, and this was from a few years back, is that I attempted to order some cabinetry and a new sink from them when I did a partial bathroom remodel and somehow they totally buggered it all up significantly delaying the completion of the project. I think I’m going to try to remember to check out this Lowe’s a bit more often since I’m really no fan of our nearby Home Depot. Who knows? We may start to develop a more harmonious relationship.

Huh. I really thought I had reviewed this Lowes, but apparently not. Regardless of having spent quite a bit of time here, and making multiple purchases, I have to say that 2 stars is really the best I can give them. Most of the time the service is painfully slow and/or not helpful, and I end up leaving annoyed and having to make another trip, usually to Home Depot. The items that we have purchased here have been good, so there’s that. But, for example, yesterday we were in, looking for a 60 inch grill cover. Pretty straightforward. I asked the guy in the outdoors section if they had 60 inch grill covers, and his reply was«I have some 68 inch ones right over here». Yeah. Well, thank you for your«help», but that doesn’t provide me with the item that I need or requested. And that experience is pretty much like most of the ones I have at this Lowes. I’m sure we’ll be back — being homeowners, we always need something for the house, and this is the nearest Lowes… but that doesn’t mean I’ll enjoy my next visit in.

It’s okay. It’s big. They have lots of stuff. They have okay help… sometimes… I like the tools section here the best.

Typical Lowe’s. Haven’t had any bad experiences here… just meh… they’re atittude is like a lot of other Lowe’s. If someone is around, they’ll usually help with a semi-half-hearted attempt… other times, it’s like being in a desert, lucky to find someone or if you do, they’re like a mirage, espy you and disappear into thin air… or so it would seem. On this particular occasion, I was looking for a specific item. Decided I’d find it quicker looking by myself and was just about to leave and voilà! I see an employee and start to go over to him. I ask him about the item and he immediately responds and starts to lead me down an aisle and even consults with another employee before leading me to the item. I am grateful for that service. Allowed me to get out of the store quicker than I expected. So, I will be back as the opportunities present themselves.

I guess I should have read the reviews before going here. I usually like Lowe’s better than Home Depot so when I recently purchased a house near this location I was thrilled. But my first visit ended on a horrible and embarrassing note. While trying to checkout, I realized I’d left my wallet in my car. So after the cashier rang me up, I apologized and said I’d be right back… that I had to run out to the car for my wallet. There was no one behind me waiting. In fact, there was no one else in any checkout line besides me. So I run out to my car… which was right in front of the door because practically no one was there…, grab my wallet, then have to run back through the store because of course you can’t go back in the same door. I was gone, tops, 60 seconds. I get back to the place I was checking out and there’s someone new there canceling all of my items. So I said, out of breath from running, «I think those are mine.» And she said, as snotty as snotty can get, «Well, we had no idea where you went or if you were coming back.» Apparently, saying quite firmly and clearly that you are running to your car for your wallet and will be RIGHTBACK in a minute is not adequate notice that you’ll be returning. After several exasperated sighs and proving that I was completely making her job suck by having to make me swipe my credit card, I finally got checked out. Won’t be back. Worst customer service ever. I’ll be taking my business to the Home Depot down the road.

While I enjoy shopping in any type of home improvement store, I dislike this Lowe’s. all I needed was a key made and this seemed to be a daunting, and even argumentative task. This happened during my second trip back after the first key was not made properly. The woman in charge of the«making of the keys» argued with my husband about which base key our key should be made from. He didn’t agrue, just simply offered a suggestion based on the numbers stamped on the darn thing. I now shop at the smaller, albeit more expensive neighborhood store…

I rate this Lowes at a solid three stars. Perhaps three and a half. It met but did not exceed expectations. The aisles are well organized and well stocked. The store is perhaps a bit understaffed for its size, but once one finds an employee, the staff is courteous and helpful. The purchase value of merchandise is good. Of course, I have not attempted to order a door from Lowes(see the other two reviews), but I will return to Lowes again and recommend it without reservations.

If they had negative stars this Lowe’s would get all of them. I ordered a door, it was ordered and it was WRONG. It took three months~ yes ninety days to get the correct door and get it installed. Two days off work. I have received so Many calls for«feedback» I might need to report them for stalking. Not one ounce of concern from one employee about my order. No more Lowe’s for me.

Worst. Lowe’s. Ever. I won’t shop at Lowe’s anymore because of this store and it is such a shame because I liked them over Home Depot. I have since just started shopping in smaller hardware stores. Ordered a door a year ago, they charge you to measure it so it will fit. They measured wrong and then told me I would have to wait another 30 days. 30 days pass and no door in sight, nor was it even ordered. Fast forward another two weeks and my credit card was charged twice. They told me I had to call my credit card company to resolve it when it was their screw up. The eventually refund my money, but not all of it, claiming I received«services and materials». I basically had to file a fraudulent charge with my credit card company to get all my money back for them not doing a single thing. None of their store managers will call you back. One who faked sincerity asked me to come down to speak with him and when I got there 5 minutes later they told me he went on lunch break 5 minutes ago. The others were only semi-helpful after I called corporate customer service and explained to them what had happened. Absolutely the crappiest customer service I’ve ever had.
