Beware! I bought some shoes online directly from The Walking Company. Unfortunately, one pair did not fit well and I needed to return them. Customer Service said I could return them at any nearby retail store to avoid shipping costs. However, the Rodney, the store manager, informed me they had a 30 day return policy. As such, I was only able to exchange them since it was around 45 days. A few days later, I was curious and called their corporate office to inquire about their return policy which is 90 days. I told them what happened and they apologized, but it was too late in my opinion. Apparently, the retail store does not want the hit for a return against their P&L. Be sure to tell store management that you know the policy is 90 days versus 30 days at this or any other retail store. I just don’t like being lied to about a return policy especially when I have been a loyal customer for many years.

I went in here because I have wicked bad flat feet. Rodney helped me (I called ahead of time-​to make sure they had what I was looking for) and he was so rude. I wouldn’t have come to this store but I didn’t really have a choice. I went in the next day and Rodney helped me (it was kind of busy) and he was still not very helpful. I ended up buying a pair of sandals ONLY because I really needed them. His people skills are awful & I wouldn’t send any of my friends/​family to this location! I’m glad my feet feel better today so that’s why I give them stars. Also when I asked him questions he didn’t know the answers?! This is your job! You should be the expert?!

I was recommended by a nurse friend to try Dansko shoes for heel pain. Was shocked by the cost but the assistant at this store explained the design and quality. My feet are only happy in the shoes. I didn’t realize I have been wearing the wrong size for so many years. No longer do my toes fall asleep and my heel pain is less when I wear the shoes. I bought a second pair for everyday and a third pair for in the house only as the ceramic floor is a killer on my feet. The associate recommended a clearance pair for in the house. Why worry about fashion in the kitchen? Saved me $ 90 and they were delivered to my house free of shipping. This store was very nice and extremely helpful.

First off I was just about attacked by a pushy female sales person. I told her I was looking for a walking shoe that could tolerate 5 miles a day, i have knees that need some cushion due to arthritis. She steered me to a pair that some one bought who wears them all day and are great. They were not great for me. Then she steered me to another pair and insisted I needed another whole size larger. I thought well maybe they run small, I was not familiar with the brand. I tried them on and walked around their very small and crowded store. Not a great trying on experience. I felt very pushed into getting them. She told me I was officially this whole size larger now. I am almost 60 years old. Doubt my feet are still growing. I have been a nurse almost 40 years and think I know what styles work for me. So I thought I will try them. Got home and walked around in the shoes some more and they were flopping on me. Fortunately the Temecula store (which is closer) exchanged them for me without a hassle in a smaller size. After a month, these shoes, Abeo’s do not support my knees and are not the most comfortable walking shoes I wish the sales person had listened more so to my needs. I will be shopping at the Temecula store going forward. Their sales person was not pushy and I felt more opened to listening to my needs. She listened so well that I bought another pair from the Temecula store.

I must say that I am impressed because they stand behind their product. My shoes look brand new and I brought them back because the leather was popping out of the soul. Without questions, they offered a refund or another pair.
Might I say WOW that is impressive! It’s not like my shoes were purchased a week ago even though they look brand new. I didn’t think that they would bother or help but now I have a new pair of shoes and I can wear them in confidence.
This proves that I can buy with confidence and trust that they stand behind their product. I will now be buying my shoes there and the Dansko shoes are so comfortable to wear. It’s definitely worth the money.

I bought a pair of $ 250 MBT walking shoes at the beginning of April. Unfortunately, after three months of use, one of the shoes started to rip on the tongue. I brought them back with my receipt (which as luck would have it, I had) and they were happy to replace the shoes with no problems. They did not have my size so Rodney, the store manager called the Costa Mesa store and found my size. I went up to Costa Mesa the next day and received a replacement pair of shoes. That is good business and I will definitely go back. They earned my patronage!
