As a burger lover I’m always down for some hamburgers now matter where and after seeing the reviews for the place I was excited to find a burger place near my work. But all that excitement was swept by wave after wave of disappointment from the staff to the food.
I came here for lunch today because I was in a mood for a burger and I initially wanted to go to Rockfire Grill but this was closer and settled on this. Entering TK Burger I noticed it was empty except for one person eating and they are a surfing and tiki themed eatery that plays country music. When I ordered I asked about the Bargain burger and she told me about it and it sounded very under whelming and I just ended up getting a cheeseburger. She asked me what I wanted on my burger so I added bacon and avocado ($ 1 extra, each). Turns out the burgers here don’t come with any standard and you can just add lettuce, tomato or whatever you want to them. I got my burger with everything and made a combo of it but turns our you only get fries and drinks are extra, combos are $ 7 already and if you want a drink that’s gonna be a total $ 9! The cashier seemed like she didn’t want to be there and/​or uninterested.
Now for the food. The fries were stale and I’m guessing they were left over from the lunch rush and they didn’t want to waste them and gave them to me. I don’t like to waste food and it seems like they don’t either but these fries wasn’t worth it. The burger it self was flavorless, the over cooked jerky they called bacon was tough and chewie, all the veggies seemed like it was just there. When I was eating I couldn’t really taste anything or than the burnt jerky bacon.
When I went to the bathroom it wasn’t stocked at all and I had to dry my hands on my clothes.
From having uninspired service, bad food, combo that excluded a drink, and using my clothes to dry my hands I don’t see myself ever coming back here. The whole time eating all I could think about was I should of went to Rockfire Grill instead of this place. The one good thing I would say about this place is they have a top notch ice machine.

You can smell the charbroiled flames from the parking lot! Cute eclectic place decked out all surfer style and Hawaiian touches yet blaring country music! Love it!
I ordered a cheeseburger which is a quarter pound of meat and I skipped the TK sauce because it is similar to thousand Island and I was in the mood for ketchup and mustard. The burgers taste phenomenal… you can taste the salty peppery seasoned grill in every bite! Large flavorful portions for the price.
I tried the sweet potato french fries with sweet chili dipping sauce and it was a pretty cool mix.
My husband raved the wedge burger was one of the best burgers he’s had in his life… He said if I was the last burger he Ever ate in his life that was a good burger to end on!

I have been here several times and have always been satisfied with the food and service. The burgers are pretty darn good and donate the onion rings. The fries are the only thing that could use a little work. Overall a nice place to grab a quick bite. The A1 cheesey and the tombstone are pretty awesome.
