Granese Marsha, MD

I have been with Dr. Granese since the spring of 2014 and I have to say that she is truly wonderful and makes me feel very comfortable and thus far no one else in the field has.
The four and not five stars is because of her front office staff, not her.

Dr. Granese and staff… nothing but trouble. Full of explanations and excuses for not satisfying patients needs. I called a week after having an ultrasound done and not receiving a phone call about the results. I was told by staff that the doctor still needed to review the results… I knew the office had already received the results the day after my test. The medical assistant called me back stating the results were normal and proceeded to go over test results from 6 months ago as well. Then, Dr. Granese called me to rip me up one side and down the other for using vulgar language… which was so NOT the case. And that I should consider myself lucky for getting the results within a week of having the test done. Since most medical offices don’t give test results for a month unless it is life threatening. Apparently she doesn’t look in people’s charts or listen to what they are saying because I have been working in the medical field for 10 plus years and it has never taken my doctors a month to give test results. Therefore, I immediately requested all of my records from her office and will be finding a new ob/​gyn. Regardless of the outcome of test results, it should never take so long to receive test results. And her talking down to patients is so uncalled for!!! Karma is a bitch, no matter who you are.

I love Dr. Granese. I began seeing her during my pregnancy, and although I had some complications along the way, I cannot thank her enough for such a wonderful delivery. Seriously, I can actually say I ENJOYED my delivery… how often does that happen?! I’ve seen multiple specialists, along with a primary care physician, and Dr. Granese is by far the most concerned with my overall well being. I am so grateful for that — thank you, Dr. Granese!
(-1 star because office staff is «OK», and wait time can be difficult. especially if you go mid-​day!)

Today I got test results from an imaging center ordered by a new doctor. From a simple slightly invasive ultrasound (that Dr. Granese never once suggested or ordered), it pinpointed several major gynecological issues, finally explaining my pain of several years that she completely missed — every single one of them. She even performed an exploratory laparoscopy to figure out where the pelvic pain was originating from. She literally looked *inside of my body* and couldn’t see a single thing.
My visits with her, aside from my first appointment, were always very brief and rushed. She’s friendly and easygoing, but that’s not worth much given everything else. Yikes, go elsewhere, and avoid her psychiatrist ex-​husband too.

Dr Granese is the best ob gyn I’ve EVER had! She’s patient, kind, welcoming and very knowledgeable. She allowed my husband and I to try a VBA2C (vaginal birth after 2 cesarians) and we are forever grateful for all of her efforts. We were successful because of her and how diligent she was. She knew it was important to us so she used as many resources necessary, while still remaining focused on my and baby’s safety, and I cannot thank her enough. We’re now expecting our second son and could not be more happy to have dr Granese delivering. I never want to birth without her!

I was dr. Granese’s patient for 5 years saw her once a year. I gave her one star because she put me throw hell after placing marina IUD. from the the minute she placed it i started having severe pain so i waited a few days and made an appointment to remove it. when i got there they said she had an emergence and the other dr will Preformed the removal she said the reason for the pain is because it was put in wrong. They of course charged me and my insurance for there mistake. after the nurse assured me that she will talk to dr. Granese, I called seval times asking to talk to her but none of my phone calls were returned. to avoid collection i called the billing department to pay my bills of course they return my call the same day. Apparently my HSA card was expired and didn’t go threw, keep in mind that i have $ 7000 on that account $ 200 is not going to break me. Without a warning or even a phone call they send me to collection. All I wanted from dr. Granese is to call me back…

Dr. Granese has been my OB/​GYN for the last 4 years and I cannot say enough good things about her. I have referred her to many of my friends and they all love her. She is very technical, puts her patients first, and really cares about her patient’s holistic health. She was my doctor with my first baby and was absolutely fabulous, even when I was struggling with complications with the pregnancy. She is a great Doctor!!!
