Wedge salad is super yummy and sandwiches were tasty as well. Employees are so nice and helped us with the order for our little girl which was super helpful. Having a tv at the table with hockey on was great too.

Best sandwich shop in Mission Viejo! And even better… they serve beer and wine! It’s like a subway on steroids. I had a tuna sandwich which was excellent! Every sandwich on the menu looked delicious! They have a great happy hour, a wide variety of craft beers on tap and bottled which you can sample if you aren’t sure which one to choose, and great pricing. The restaurant and bathrooms were immaculate. There are flat screen tv’s at each booth and a big patio. I was very pleased with the staff! From the moment I walked in until I left everyone was super chill and welcoming. I got a chance to meet the owner too, he was so nice. The parking lot is bigger than I expected too. I definitely recommend checking this place out!

I just want to say that the staff at this particular location is AMAZING. I’m from northern ca and I loved my beach hut deli sandwiches up there. The vibe of the place is great and the food is delicious. But every single employee at that location just seems absolutely miserable. It is definitely not that way at the Mission Viejo store. All of the employees are in a visibly great mood, especially the gentleman working the cash register and what seems to be the male manager. They truly care about how your meal is going. I asked about the beers on tap and he went through and explained all 10 beers to me with how they taste and the alcohol percentage. I got an Orange County IPA which was GREAT, btw. But above all else, I just wanted to mention how great the staff is. Thanks Beach Hut Deli!

Pretty long wait for this sandwich I ordered the beach burger which is like a burger in a sandwich. It was ok not worth the $ 10 I paid for it though. I understand the concept though normal sandwiches with loads of meat that you pay for. Not a huge fan

Not your ordinary deli. Awesome craft beer and cider in draft. Tons of choices for sandwiches and salads.

Good selection of sandwiches and salads but way too much money. If you go across the street you can get a really great sandwich for half the cost. They do sell beer here which is great but I’m still out because of the price.

If you love buffalo wings you must try The sunburn sandwich it is amazing!!! It has all white meat chicken with buffalo wing sauce and ranch dressing also has bacon on it. The only downfall I have about this location is that anytime I call to make a phone order it takes anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes for them to take my order. They do not have a hold button so you sit there with the phone on the counter just listen to the person having conversation with the customers in line. The last time I called I was on hold for 12 minutes and I hung up because I was so annoyed. I understand that she was busy and I could hear her talking to customers coming up to the counter but she totally forgot about me. All in all I really love the food.

Friendly, fun atmosphere. Great staff. Amazing sandwiches. Cold beer. Sports on personal table tvs. This is a great place. I get the Surfin Pig. Ham, Bacon, Canadian Bacon, Avocado, shredded lettuce, tomato, pickle and cream cheese. The bread is pillowy soft. It’s absolutely delicious! Make sure you have them warm up the meat.

This place has some awesome melted hot sandwiches. I remember the first time I came here, I ordered a hot sandwich that had cream cheese on it. I was surprised how good that made the sandwich taste! Who would’ve thought adding cream cheese would be good?! I ordered«The Spicolli» which included turkey breast, melted cheddar cheese, on a toasted French roll, topped with ranch dressing, lettuce and hickory smoked bacon. It tasted amaze-balls! I believe this is one of my favorite go-to sandwiches here. The cheese was exceptionally melted and the bacon tasted so fatty good! My fiancé ordered«The Pig Kahuna» which included Luau-style tender pulled pork with Tabasco, Bulls-Eye BBQ sauce, and melted cheddar cheese on a toasted French roll garnished with chilled pineapple. This is by far his favorite sandwich there. The pineapples added a nice touch to it. Also, the staff there are super friendly and they remember your faces! They actually check up on you, for a place that you order and pay up front. I’m glad to see such happy faces there, makes for a great environment to be at!

Came in here with the family recently and ordered a couple of their sandwiches. My son & wife had The Hobie… one hot and the other cold. I tried a bite from each and both had flavor, but I must say the hot one was better. Me, I opted for the Surfin Cow.(Cold Roast Beef) and it was well made«but» I prefer red roast beef, and not so brown. The décor here has been done like something you would see on the coast in Maui, with TV’s in every booth. Don’t get me wrong, the sandwiches are real amazing but their prices were a little too high for us.

Heard a lot about this place and to be honest had my expectations very low, but since the reviews were so great had to make the trip to try it out. Coming from NYC I had to try the pastrami and I actually enjoyed it. This is the best pastrami I have had on the west coast. In my personal opinion it doesn’t compare to some of the best pastrami places of NYC. But that is all personal opinion. After sharing many items on the menu with friends. I am hooked. Best overall quality sandwich shop I’ve been too. The quality of meat is the best and they aren’t stingy. They also have an excellent selection of beers. I must say this place will leave you craving for more.

Where have you been all my life? Wow. 40+ locations since 1981, why haven’t the hell I’ve heard of it? What looks like nothing from the outside, quite fantastic on the inside with an surf theme, surfboards for tables, and flatscreens at each table — this has the makings for something good. Oh yeah, and there’s the food. Gourmet sandwiches and salads, burgers and pizza — it’s very hard to make a decision. My dining partner and I shared two sandwiches: The Hightide and the Malibu. 1. The Hightide($ 9.25) — Chopped lean pastrami, honey ham, crumbled smoked bacon, cheddar and pepper jack cheese. Served on toasted garlic sourdough with 1000 island dressing. Incredibly delicious.(4.5 stars) 2. The Malibu($ 9.95) — Chopped lean pastrami, swiss, avocado. Served on toasted garlic sourdough with italian dressing, mayo. Super Incredibly delicious.(5.0 stars) WIth a sweet and cute(and pink hair) cashier and a super nice sandwich maker(guy, he’s cute too), this has the making of a fantastic place which I will return over and over and seek out the 40 other locations. Someone say road trip? Yeah, it’s that great.

I recommend it! I got a Monterey(veggie) add cheddar cheese and a pasta salad. The medium sized sandwich was HUGE! I suggest getting the small unless you’re sharing. Pasta salad was ok but the Monterey was so good that it deserved 5 stars. The bread is amazing! Also, if you’re in a rush, call ahead… it was a good 20 minute wait on a not so busy day.

Beach Hut Deli is almost brand spanking new in a teeny-tiny strip mall on Muirlands and La Paz. If you’re not in the mood for good cheap Mexican eats at Roberto’s down the way, then you can hop skip and jump down the way and enjoy a sandwich, where you have mass options. This is a very big menu for sandwiches, with numerous meats, numerous bread options, 3 different sizes, hot and cold sandwiches and they serve salads too! They have fresh brewed iced tea and a large mix it-make it yourself Coke drink dispenser with tons of flavor options. We were told(appreciate the honesty) that the side salads were not freshly in-house made, so we opted for potato chips, which they have a pretty good selection of. I had the small Surfin Pig, Canadian ham, avocado, bacon and cream cheese. Wow what a work of art type sandwich and delicious. Hubby chose the Hightide, which had pastrami, ham, bacon cheeses, all chopped and it made a bit of a mess, but I had a bite and it was quite delicious. Hubby opted for the garlic sourdough bread, toasted, and I didn’t think the garlic really came through on this bread, but in all fairness, with all those meats/cheeses/sauces and veggies, it could have been just too much for the flavor to stand out. Think beach and surfing and you’ll have the theme of this deli, and it was quite clean, plenty of light and customer service was great, with friendliness and patience as you peruse the mass menu to make your choice. Do you want a cold brewski with your sammie fellas? They have quite a few beers on tap: Each surfboard-dining table has a private tv, but it’s all set to sports, leading me to believe they are definitely catering more towards men and not women. Where the hell is the fashion channel??? Tidbit: Trivia rules on Tuesday from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm, My awesome sports loving hubby and I will definitely be back, and you should go too! Take a break from the Subway chains and try the Beach Hut Deli chains. Your tummy will thank you.

Not exactly a «Bookmark Saturday» night, but my better half and I have been meaning to try this place since it opened a few months ago. If you couldn’t guess by the name( ), the place has a Beach /Island theme. In 1981, Troy Feist started Beach Hut Deli in Granite Bay. His idea was the creation of sandwiches, stuffed full of top-quality meats, cheeses and fresh produce. Being beach lover, Troy used this theme to decorate his restaurants. Each deli is decorated with beach and surf memorabilia. The beach theme has evolved into a culture with a wall of infamy consisting of photos of happy patrons and the staff having fun in beach attire. The interior has tables( ) made to look like surfboards and the fare( ) has been given names to match the theme of the shop. Each booth is equipped with a small flat screen and there are several more throughout the deli. I would say the inside could probably sit about 35 people with a small patio outside accommodating about a dozen more. This location has a freestyle( ) Coke machine, but unfortunately, it was on the fritz this night. The worker behind the counter was patient, friendly and upbeat while my lovely wife and I were trying to make a decision on which sandwich to order. Beach Hut takes your name with the order and call you when the sandwich is ready. The menu is divided into Gourmet, Specialty and Hot Melted Sandwiches in three sizes, Full and Half Salads, Beach Munchies(Sides and Appetizers) and Drinks(Sodas and Beers). For those into recycling, the soda cups are compostable made from cornstarch. My lovely wife opted for the Surfin’ Pig(Canadian Ham, Avocado, Bacon and Cream Cheese) on a Sweet French Roll. I chose The Hightide( ) and we both grabbed a bag of chips, glasses for water and found a table. We snacked on our chips while we waited for our sandwiches which were ready within a few minutes. Laina really enjoyed her Surfin’ Pig, the Canadian Ham was very flavorful without being fatty, the bacon was nice and crisp, the avocado was fresh and not stringy, the cream cheese(which I found odd) actually worked well with the rest of the ingredients and the bread was fresh and soft. Each ingredient was nicely layered, making her sandwich appear to have been put together by an artist and almost too beautiful to eat. If Laina’s sandwich was done by an artist, by contrast, my sandwich looked like it was put together by a 5 year old finger painter. Rohlinism: In the end, presentation only makes a dish look good, it still has to pass the taste test! In this case, the sandwich tasted better than it looked on a figurative canvass. The pastrami was nice and lean, there was plenty of crispy bacon and the sourdough was nicely toasted. My only two minor complaints would be the sandwich could have used some more cheese and the bread was lacking any garlic flavor. One additional note, while we were finishing our meal, three deputies from OCSD showed up on their evening breaks. One thing I have always believed, if you are looking for good, cheap grub, follow the cops and truck drivers. If you looking for a kick back place serving high quality sandwiches at a reasonable price, say aloha to Beach Hut Deli!
