Holiday Inn Express Mishawaka

I usually stay at 3 different holiday inns each week, this is easily one of the worst (if not the worst) I’ve ever stayed at. Dirty bathtub, pillows that smell like the linens have not been changed. Never again. This place needs to be torn down and replaced.

Wanted to stay in a quiet room so the desk clerk put me at the end of the hall next to the stairs. I didn’t think anyone would be using them so I didn’t say anything. By the time I realized I was in the noisiest room possibly the hotel was full and I wasn’t able to switch rooms. People were up and down the hall yelling and opening and slamming their room doors all night. I tried to call the front desk numerous times and there was no answer. Finally I got a hold of someone in the morning and the man got upset with me and accused me of lying saying I had made no attempts to resolve the issue and then hung up on me. I would never stay here again!

We stayed here recently for 3 nights and found the hotel to be clean and decent. For the most part the hotel staff was friendly and accommodating except for the person at check in. I have a registered service dog and the staff at the front desk was obviously perturbed about this, even though I showed him her service dog license and had called the hotel to let them know she was coming. On the flip side, taking a shower the next day I noticed mold/​mildew on the shower curtain. I mentioned it to the front desk and someone was in the room checking on this within 10 minutes. She promised to tell the Housekeeping Manager in the morning. When we got back to our room the next day it was replaced as promised.
My only suggestion is to replace the pillows which are way too soft. Also, add some healthy choices to the morning breakfast. Most of the food was the overly processed type.

We like to have the occasional «staycation» We trust the Holiday Inn franchise. This particular hotel was a real disappoint. There are soap rings in the shower still, and a chest hair on the wall of the shower. My boyfriend found a bangle bracelet behind the TV right there on the stand. It’s very obvious that this hotel room has had minimal aesthetic attention only. Very, very disappointed.

This hotel staff is wonderful! And it’s nearby a ton of shopping and restaurants. Will definately go back!

My family has stayed here a few times, and it is a decent place… But not great. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was good. However, on our last stay, a couple of machines in the fitness center weren’t working, and the pool area was infested with crickets.
