We needed a quick lunch after going to the Wildwood Wildlife Park. This place is just down the road. I read the Unilocal reviews and it seemed like a nice casual place that had good food and was good for kids. So its a bar which I knew but it has a great outdoor patio. Also there is a swing set which is always a plus. We ordered the pizza per suggestions on Unilocal.It was OK but no where near as good as everyone said. The cheese and sauce were great but the crust was probably a frozen store bought thing. The waitress was very friendly. I would still go there again and I would recommend this place.

Sour or sweet… there are two ways to order an old fashioned. Brandy is not only an
alcoholic offering but is also a super friendly waitress who handled our huge group. Whiskey in the old fashions is the way to go though. It was daytime when we were there and someone won a snow machine with a trailer included. However, they did not ride it home. That was the only disappointment. Otherwise, this place is tip top. Stop. You will not regret it.

Wonderful atmosphere, Great waitress, very yummy cheese curds and ‘bear droppings’. Jalapeños and cheddar jack cheese wrapped in a wonton and deep fried.
Spent the nicest hour here munching and chatting with another couple whom had stopped in for the cheese curds. Glad we did!

Our family of 6 visited in afternoon. Our kids loved the Northwoods theme. The staff was helpful and friendly and the food was delicious. We had the Reuben, Burger, Taco Wrap, and Cheese Curds. They were all really good. We are looking forward to our next visit!

Authentic northwoods restaurant. BEST CHEESE CURDS I’VE EVER HAD! I’m from Wisconsin which means I have cheese curds at pretty much every restaurant that serves them, so that’s saying something. Fast service, it may be because we went at 9pm on a Sunday when everyone is headed home for the weekend but there were very few empty tables and we still got our food within 15 minutes after ordering. Broiled cod was very tasty! Also, the Italian beef did not disappoint. Definitely a place to come back to.

Best up north, rustic little bar to just kick back, relax and have a few drinks. They have amazing food. You must try the ribs! And their breakfast is awesome.

We stopped in around 9pm on a Saturday and were told that all they were serving was pizza, but that it was home-​made. We ordered the Deluxe and waited about a half hour for it. The toppings were decent, but it was very obvious that the crust was frozen and pre-​made. Service was adequate but I won’t stop here again

Have to redo my review again. Stopped in here on Sunday to pick up some chili to go because in the past the chili has been awesome. I don’t know what has happened, but the chili is not the same. I had to wait 20+ minutes for chili to go and paid $ 20 for 4 bowls??? Come on, it’s not nearly that great! And it made me and my husband sick.

Great BLT! Really good bacon. I’m not gonna take a picture of it but, I want to. Great beer selection, very good Bloody Mary, there is also outdoor seating. Friendly staff. Just a nice solid wood cabin type bar and restaurant.

Food was decent (pizza very good) but the atmosphere and location on a little river is the real reason to go. Owner seemed to take a liking to me and my guest but was very rude and crazy towards my other group of friends there that night. Started accusing them of stealing very expensive «artwork» from the bathroom that didn’t exist. Months later we found out he got busted for dealing crack. It all makes perfect sense now!
I also overheard a waitress basically telling a group of people that they needed to leave because there were others waiting to be seated. Really?
Not sure what this place is like now that it is (presumably) under new management.
Also, it has nothing to do with this actual establishment, but when we left one night we spotted a REAL black bear cub less than a mile away… Awesome.

Rustic and recently remodeled, this is definitely one of my favorite bars Up North! Full Log/​Great Fireplace/​Locals/​Poker Machines and it’s DARK inside which is key for me. Nice back room with open views of Creek/​Wildlife. Great Beer selections and Spotted Cow on Tap of course as well as Full Bar. Definitely a Pizza Joint and we always go for the «House Special» Za-​Very Good! Apps are pretty standard with the Buffalo Wings being the best of the bunch. Bartenders are really cool and know how to facilitate the customers as well as the Locals. Serving Breakfast and always have great Live Blues on the weekends! Overall a great place to fire up some Bob Seger and grab a Cold Beer/​Pizza! GTFJD
